Terrible. Nobody wants to answer the phone. I went through there AI and it kept asking me the same question over and over and over again. I then spoke with a representative name Alfredo cause I wanted to purchase motorized blinds. He told me he would call me back within a few minutes and ghosted me. I tried to call back twice since then it was placed on hold for 10 minutes the first time 15 minutes a second time and then hung up on. I found another place to buy my blinds. If you go on your own and know what to look for, then it's fine. You walk in, pay, and walk out. Now if you need help with anything, that's a completely different story. I was at Lowe's for 2 hours already, happily shopping and finding the things that I needed. Then I couldn't find a specific faucet that went with all the fixtures I decided on. So I researched online and found out it was sold out and unavailable at any stores. So... I returned all the fixtures and started again. I found what I wanted except the faucet was out of stock. I looked online and found out I could order it. I walked up to the check out, and asked the man who was standing there if I can order the faucet. He said I can order it online myself or I can go to customer service. (He seemed lazy and didn't want to help me except for ringing up my items.) "I don't want to be charged for shipping. How do I do that?" I hear you. You can order online I guess. Or you can ask customer service. "Where's customer service?" Um, over there (he pointed to somewhere.) But maybe we might have it in stock. "Can you check for me?" Well, you can look online. "Can YOU check for me?" He scanned the number and said there were 4 on the floor. He called someone to help me who met me at the sink fixture aisle. The person who helped me was the sweetest, most knowledgeable and patient man. He was older Asian gentleman who reminded me of my grampa. He looked up the number, grabbed a ladder, then handed me the sink fixture. Easy peasy. I was ready to pay and the same cashier guy was there to help me. I asked him about the price of 2 light fixtures. They rang up as $89 each. I said, "The price for these are $71 on the display." Well those are probably different lights. "Can I show you? They're the exact same lights on display with the exact same name." Well, I don't know. They're probably different lights. "Can I show them to you? They're right here." I can't leave my post. "I'll take a picture then." I showed him the picture and he said, "I need the item number to know for sure." "Ok, so how do I get the item number when it's all the way up top and my camera can't zoom in that close." I can't see the item number. "Can YOU get someone to help me???" He called the same nice man to help me who got a ladder, took the item number and said, "You're right! These lights are the same. Take a picture of this sign. They'll adjust the price for you." Apparently the tags weren't correct but they honored the display price. Thank you!!! That's my Lowe's story. You never know who you're gonna get. I wish I caught the name of the older man. Extremely disappointing kitchen remodel experience with Lowe's. Our cabinets arrived damaged, causing more than six weeks of delays and holding up the countertops, flooring, and entire project. The installation was also poorly managed. Screws were too short for the handles (what installation company doesn't have screws?), handles were left off, and no one told us this so we could purchase them while they were still there. We had to constantly follow up, coordinate the different parties, and push to get work completed. There was very little accountability or meaningful customer support. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Lowe's for a cabinet remodeling project. Once you purchase from them, if there is anything wrong with the cabinets, you're screwed. There is no expediting. It takes weeks to get on the installation schedule. read more

Just had the most awful experience yesterday at the Lowe's in Dublin. First of all, there's no one around to help you. I finally find someone who stopped the conversation with another worker to ask if I needed help. Then he couldn't help me and brought me over to someone else who was on lunch and everyone else in her department was on lunch. Why don't they stagger or the lunchtime for them because everyone was gone so then they make a referral to the person who is going to help me and they call me this morning and say they don't do that the store does that. It is so frustrating that no one knows what they're doing. I called to speak to Customer Service this morning and spent more time on the AI person trying to get Customer Service and I finally get Customer Service and she hangs up on me. We went there on a Sunday morning to do quick research on a puzzling plumbing problem. Our now retired plumber had permanently piped our whole house water purification system in place. And we needed to remove a tank for servicing. Ugh! As I stood puzzling over the various plumbing fittings, one of their employees, George, asked if I needed help. His vest had an embroidered patch which said "Plumbing 8 years". Well, his experience definitely showed! George thought of a brilliant solution to our plumbing problems - compression couplings. They were easy to install, no glue needed, and best of all, inexpensive compared to the parts we were considering through countless hours of late-night googling and watching DIY YouTubers! George helped me locate the 2 sizes of couplings we needed and we were quickly out of there. We installed them and they worked perfectly! If you need help figuring out your plumbing issues, go look for George! read more

Absolutely horrible, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOWES, spent about 10k on appliances and bathroom fixtures for our new house. Oven came in last week, delivery guys ran out of the house so fast after I had to chase them down to give them their drill and the old fridge doors they were supposed to take away. Then I unbox the oven the following week for my contractor to install and the whole bottom was smashed in, called lowes they said because it had been more than 5 days I can't get a refund or exchange, are you fing serious? ANd becuase it's been less than a year their protection plan doesn't kick in yet, they kicked me to fridgedaire (manufacturer) who tried to tell me I'd have to pay for it to be repaired, I finally convinced them to pay for all repairs. I will be charing this back since I bought a new oven not one that fell off a cargo ship and was then repaired by a handyman. Hopefully when they lose all the money on this sale it will make them learn. Also bought a vanity the door on it came in all scraped up, the box it came in was in fine condition so it's obvious it was packaged already messed up. I called them they said "oh it's another business that just sells through us so we can't send you a door" if you bring it back to a physical location we can refund you and order a new one" I explained I don't have a car that can fit it and the closes lowes is 30 miles away, they refused to do anything but give me a $50 discount on a $600 item, so I will charge this back too. I could see that some employees made an effort to call for help, and I appreciate that, but unfortunately, no one ever came. It felt like I was just left hanging without any updates or support. We ordered a microwave and were not able to return it (48 hour return policy) despite it being unopened. The online purchase experience makes it intentionally unclear that returns for large appliances are limited to 48 hours from purchase date. We tried calling the store to explain our situation - contractor mis-measured so microwave didn't fit and we had to purchase greater than 48 hours before install date. But all to no avail. read more

HORRIBLE... Do not purchase any large items or appliances from Lowe's! The delivery system is SO BAD... and Lowe's accepts NO Accountability for anything after the Sale! They've got your money, now you're on your own! I had a high-end Bosch refrigerator delivered and installed. These guys ran out the door so fast after install they all but tossed the manual to me as they ran! I immediately discovered a problem with the doors (don't stay open as they should), and had questions on the ice maker functionality so called within 24 hours to request a technician come back out. Scheduling was changed on me without ever being notified, and received an Invoice for a part I didn't order (and note they still hadn't been out to confirm anything was wrong!)?? I've now spent the last 45-min calling numbers and being referred to another department over and over.... NO ONE is taking responsibility nor can anyone at Lowe's or the delivery service explain WHO ordered this part I'm expected to pay for even though I have a brand new item under a 48-hour warranty AND A 2-year protection!! This review is specifically towards Lowes Installation Service. This is the WORST service ...very un-professional sub contractors. Lowes does not own installation team, but rely solely on subcontractors. 1.We paid Lowes full price for installation and was assured scheduler will call within 48 hours 2. Had to call Lowes after 96 hours waiting...who gave me subcontractor number.....who happens to be in LA, while I am located in SF bay area 3. The subcontracttor NEVER called, I had to call 3-4 different times to be "assured" installer will call me 4. After 4 times, they gave installer number ( name AJ )....who never ever answered the phone 5. Finally after lot of escalations by Lowes install team, so called AJ called this morning telling ( not asking) that he will visit between 100 and 130 6. AJ does not have simply courtesy to call/text that he is running late 7. Shows up at 345....one look and says he can not install garage door opener ...the reason he gave is power outlet point is not exactly above opener motor. 8. Asked if its building code, he explained Lowes prohibits to install if power outlet is not directly above motor....and he will call Lowes to cancel installation. They gave me a faulty water line which flooded under my sink twice, they came back out to replace the water line a week later and did NOT pull the dishwasher out to connect it. My ENTIRE kitchen is FLOODED and they were supposed to send someone out to rectify this situation, no one came. No one has even called me and they won't answer my call or messages. I recently had two very bad experiences with Lowes or lowes.com and not necessarily the store its self but I did order a $500 gas bbq grill which came from either the Union City store or the Dublin location I honestly am not sure now because I had them delete my account from their system and the email I received for the order does not say where the grill came from. The first problem is customer service couldn't link my "guest" purchases made online to my Lowes account I created after I made the purchases. The account had all the same information used to purchase the items but they just couldn't do it even though I was requesting it and giving them my permission. The only reason I can think of that they couldn't/wouldn't do it is because the Lowes corporation doesn't want to provide the little Lowes "My Rewards" that I would've received for my $700 purchase (I also ordered a small outdoor shed and cover for the grill). This is the problem with corporate greed in the U.S. they don't care about making the customer happy anymore. After spending at least 30 minutes on the phone 4/7/25 with their outsourced customer service who couldn't help me and couldn't show me where to delete the account I created (they walked me through the steps and I looked myself and there was no option to delete the account). I got a phone call today 4/9 after leaving a voicemail describing my dissatisfaction with their automated survey on 4/7 and they still couldn't help me find where to delete the account. The "supervisor" had to do it for me. Dear Lowes Customer Service Management, your policies are insufficient at best and your service was non existent. No amount of script reading can fix this when you have a customer that is unhappy with their order and the "supervisor" your speaking with is reading a script and not actually addressing the issue, you have already failed. The second problem I had was when the grill arrived yesterday 4/8/25 it was not assembled correctly! The hood hinge was missing its screw on the left side! How can this item have even left the warehouse like this?!? Why offer free assembly if its just going to be a crappy job. I had the delivery people put it back on the truck to return it for a refund. To Lowes Executive/Management team-get your crap together and address the issues within your organization. This kind of stuff is totally unacceptable and really a loss of profit for your shareholders. The CEO should be terminated because obviously they don't have a clue as to what is going on at the basic store level. The outsourced customer service you're using is not functioning properly, they have outdated documentation in their scripts that describe places to go on your website that don't exist. When people come in, the workers scatter. Isn't it funny noone is ever at the cash register and then you try to find which of the few self-serve checkouts is open and suddenly a person appears like magic. The bar for customer services and support its buried. This is a feature not a bug. No one in there wants to help or work. You can't buy doors, get wood cut and purchased, or anything requiring employee assistance. Don't think about getting help for something heavy. It's best to have someone that can help you lift it off the shelf. If you know what you want and where to find it, its ok. If you go online and they carry what you need, go to Ace as they are far more helpful. I have started going to specialty stores or online stores because of their lousy customer service, inability to assist when in-store, and the installation services are very bad. Most of the service partners don't even show up even if you paid. If they do, they only peddle their products and you are left to return your Lowes items. read more

Unfortunately not a helpful store. We went looking for a few items, and all of the items were either unavailable, broken, or cheaper on Amazon (without the hassle of lugging it home too). Upon entering a nice employee greeted us and asked if we needed any help finding what we came for (drawer handles and a sliding screen door), but later on once we got to the screen doors and needed extra assistance and pressed the button, nobody came. We waited for maybe 10 minutes, then made our way back to the same lady to ask if she could help, then waited some more as she figured out who could help, and it turned out the person assigned to that section of the store was busy, so we proceeded to wait another 15 minutes or so before help was recieved. The screen doors we were looking at in question were all dented so we were asking if there was a proper replacement in the back but the answer was no. We were told that we could order online, but the point of coming to Lowe's in person was to see if we could avoid additional charges and change our door that day. I'm writing this review because I was very happy with the customer service at this Lowe's store in Dublin, CA - specifically from Jose Caloca. He helped me (and my dad) purchase a new Bosch washer/dryer, answered all of our questions, made recommendations, pointed things out that I wasn't aware of, was very thorough so that I didn't forget or overlook anything, walked us through every option, and went above and beyond!! Jose was very knowledgable, professional, friendly, happy, understanding and patient, and I felt like I could trust him. I truly appreciate everything he did. He was the only one in the department and did a good job helping me and another customer. I think Lowe's should have 2 employees on the floor though - it would be a better customer experience and also not so stressful for 1 employee. I used to work at Home Depot and held many other jobs where customer satisfaction was the #1 priority. So I recognize good/bad service immediately and compare it to how I would handle situations myself. I can't say enough good things about Jose. Lowe's is lucky to have him!! If the service was bad, I would not have hesitated to walk out the door and purchase elsewhere. The Bosch washer/dryer weren't available to look at in the store - Other brands were on display. It would be nice if Lowe's could put Bosch on display in the future. I already have a Bosch washer/dryer that I'm replacing so it wasn't as crucial for me to see it in-person. But if I didn't own one already, I would definitely want to check it out before purchasing and probably would've went somewhere else. I also thought the Manager was great too!! I forget his name, but he offered to help my dad and me when we were waiting for Jose and chatted with us until he was available - super friendly, happy and personable. And when Jose needed to answer some quick questions for the other customer, TWO MORE employees offered to help us out!! I was impressed and very happy with their attentiveness. THAT is excellent customer service. Overall it was a great experience, I bought the appliances, and I would definitely recommend talking to Jose Caloca if you're looking for a washer/dryer. The plants here are awesome! They looked so healthy when we got them, and we snagged a Christmas tree on December 10th that was just bursting with life. The price of the tree was $70, but they had 25% off, so we had our luck! Can you believe it's already January 13th, and that tree still hasn't shed a single leaf? :-D This place is great, I love coming here. They have such a wide variety of plants and flowers, and they always have everything I need to take care of my own plants. Lowe's Home Improvement - Ordered online - Hardware Stores Near Me - Dublin, California

On November 24, 2024, I purchased a cooktop, oven and microwave from the Lowe's store in Dublin, California. Delivery and installation were scheduled for December 12, 2024. One of the "services" that Lowe's charges for is having an installer come to my residence to determine what additional installation work might be required. The installer checked the intended installation area the first week of December. He advised that the natural gas connection pipe and the electrical service needed to be relocated. I told him I would take care of both those items, and after making several more measurements he left. When I had not heard from Lowe's on December 12, I called their Installer/Delivery phone number as asked when they intended to complete the installation of my three appliances. I was told by the person at their "corporate office" that they would check and call me back the next day. (Lowe's apparently does all their installation and delivery management at the corporate office, wherever that may be). I was called back the next day and told the installation was on hold and that I had to pay over $600 in additional installation charges for the installation to be scheduled. I asked why this was the first time I was hearing of this additional charge, and they had no answer. I went to the Lowe's store in Dublin on December 14 and paid $600 which is what the salesperson and I were told over the phone was the amount due to schedule the installation. On December 16 I again called Lowe's and was told there was still an outstanding installation charge that had to be paid. I was promised a return call within two days so Lowe's could determine the actual circumstance. I received the return call on December 17 and was told the balance was $0 and that I would hear from their installation contractor within two days to schedule the work. Apparently, the contractor Lowe's employs has two days to contact the customer once they hear from Lowe's. I head from the installer two days later and was given a December 24 installation date between 2 and 6 pm. Lowe's uses a contractor for installations and then sub-contractors are engaged to do the work. The sub-contractor arrived late in the afternoon on December 24 and installed the three appliances finishing after 7 pm. I tried using the oven on December 26. Brand new it turned out to be defective and would not heat properly. I called Lowe's corporate once again and explained that the oven was defective, their response was they had to have the installers come back out and check the item. So again, two days to hear from the installer and five days for them to come out and spend less that five minutes confirming the oven did not work properly. Again, Lowe's claimed two days to hear from the installer and I received another phone call advising the oven was defective and that I would hear from Lowe's within 6 business days as to when they might be able to replace the defective oven. I drove to the Lowe's store in Dublin the following day and talked to a supposed department manager about the experience I was having. He checked their computer and found that the matter was being handled at the corporate level and promised a phone call the following day to let me know the replacement status. He did call the next day telling me that they were looking for a replacement oven and that he would call me later in the day with the status. When I didn't hear from him, I again drove to the store and asked to talk to him. He got on the phone with the salesperson and while on speakerphone he told the salesperson to just let corporate deal with it. He never came to speak with me directly. I finally got an operable oven installed on January 18. This was the most exasperating and disappointing experience I have ever experienced. Calling Lowe's call center means you get whoever the answers the phone and their scripted response to every question and concern. The lack of empathy in this was beyond belief. Chances of me ever making a similar purchase from Lowe's is next to zero. The delays cost me time, headache and money as I frequently had to buy prepared food during this time as I had no way to cook, for weeks on end. read more

I came here looking for a stove. An older salesman asked me if I needed any help and that he has been working there for over 15 years. I asked him which stove has the strongest flame and the highest BTU. His answer was all stoves are the same, depending on how high I set the knob. That's when I knew I needed to walk out and buy it somewhere else. I ended up going to Home Depot and a younger lady that worked there for less than 2 years answered all of my questions and pulled up the report on the BTU ratings. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot instead. This Lowes is super unhelpful. We tried to buy a bathroom vanity and no body wanted to help us. Fed up, we decided to place and order for pick up instead. We came to pick up our item and they mysteriously lost it. How does this happen? We went back to the shelves and saw they took the item off, where would they leave it? There was one employee who was very sassy too, there's no place for that attitude.
