This store is amazing. We loved the fresh and calm atmosphere when we walked through the door. This was the first time we have been to Kirkland's. The merchandise was high quality and prices were very good. We enjoyed trying the a few chairs and snagged one on clearance with an additional 40% off! The staff were helpful with moving the chair out to the car. Can't wait to go back and see what deals I will find the next time I visit the store. read more

Very friendly service and a store full of everything. Home decor store with unusual items at good prices. As you enter the first thing I noticed was the smell of scented candles - I'm not sure if that is what they are known for but sure did stand out. The colorful blankets and very low prices also were eye catching. Pillows and flowers, tables and consoles - I feel like it would take half an hour to really see anything. Seasonal items I hear is what sells best for people that like to change decoration on a seasonal basis. I heard of a study that says it challenges your brain and keeps you brain cells working better if you change position of your furniture and colors and that sort of thing... Good justification for paying money on that sort of thing. read more

Kirkland's bills itself as an "home decor store." got a strong whiff of floral candle scent when i entered. there's aisles within the store filled with candles, crates of hanging pictures, pillows, paintings, furniture. everything imaginable to customize, upgrade, accessorize one's domicile. i was intringed but not tempted to buy anything knowing i had nowhere to put anything. that's why it's 3 stars.... read more

Very cute stuff and they always have deals and a large clearance section. The low review is due to the customer service. I've gone to this store multiple times and never been greeted. When I purchase something, never greeted. They just scan my stuff and say the generic "have a good day". I purchase a large mirror one day and I needed help getting it into my car, the guy who helped me sighed and was irritated that he had to help me. Mind you, he was very happy and pleasant with the previous people in front of me. read more

I had been looking for a popular item and i called the store to see if the item is in stock. At this point they had been kind and professional. I was told to call back after 3, I was told that if I called back they could hold the item for me, so I did. I called back at the time I was told and then I was told they couldn't place any of them on hold for me. "It's first come first serve basis". So I rushed out to the store and when I got there a younger woman with a bun (how I wish I got her name) told me she had just put the last 2 on hold for someone else. I explained the situation and how I was calling and she was really rude. It's not ok the do something for some costumers and not for others. I was a regular here. Might have just been a communication thing but she was very rude. Disappointing and unprofessional. read more

I was so happy to hear that a Kirklands would be opening up in Livermore. I used to drive to Antioch/Brentwood to go to this store after my friend told me about it. Kirkland's is a home decor store. If you sign up for their free rewards program, you get emails, tons of coupons, and notices when they are having sales-which is all the time. Albeit, the prices are a bit higher than stores like Tj Maxx and Home Goods, but they have a great selection of home decor and furniture. I have purchased many items from Kirkland's for my home and have received compliments on all of them. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different than what Tj Maxx and Home Goods has to offer. Bit more upscale-but I feel it is pretty good quality for what you get. read more

A pretty nice edition to the area, this place has pier one, cost plus and slight michael's kinda of feel. The employees were friendly and proactive in terms of approaching me for any questions or needed help. The prices seem to be fairly reasonable and the overall selection and variety seems to be have alittle something for everyone. A nice place to shop and browse around overall. read more

The store is beautiful and clean. The employees are very friendly and very easy to approach. Tons of cute things.. I love Kirkland's and am thrilled they opened one out here. Plenty of parking but I'm sure it'll fill up once this shopping center opens up. They had a soft opening the other day and were giving out treats and a free gift with every purchase. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program too! Only down side is that the store is much smaller than i was thinking/hoping. Ill definitely be back. Yayy! read more

I bought a mirror online and picked it up from the store. I took it home and it did not fit the space I needed it for. It says on the back of the receipt "If you ate not completely satisfied with your purchase, SIMPLY return it for an exchange or refund" which I did. However at the store, the assistant manager, Martha, refused to give me my money back saying the green sticker is a final sale item. There was no green sticker that matched any price I paid. She then said, "Its right on the receipt" which it is not and she couldn't find it either. I am a general manager of a hotel in the area, guests are our bread and butter, we treat them with dignity and respect. I left with a gift card that I'll never use because I will not be back and I will not recommend my guests to the store either based on the customer service. Just terrible service. read more

This store, I would say is an upscale version of Home goods stores. I can always find things here that are reasonably priced. I've ordered items online and delivered to their store. The only thing I would advise is that when buying mirrors, check it thoroughly especially the corners when its covered by cardboard because it can have some damages. I bought one recently and when I got home the mirror had a crack on one corner and one other corner the wood was separated and I ended up returning it. read more

I came out wanting to throw up or spit. It's like putting a scented candle in your mouth. I'm not overly sensitive to smells either. Lots of decor items we all love but don't need. Lots of the items are trendy decor, mostly good quality. No food, no cooking items. They have mirrors which I found the perfect one for over the new bathroom vanity for $20. Sachets that smell great for $2.50. Storage and wreaths and candles and pillows. Lots of sales that change all the time. I got replacement patio chair pillows for $13. They are a wonderful quality, thick and ruffed. Lots of signs for the house and laundry. Seasonal items were cute. I'll go back when I need some girls gifts. read more

They had some sort of scented Saches on display and the smell was so strong and overpowering it wasn't even pleasant. Their variety is ok, personally I think homegoods has more options. read more
