For the first purchase we selected on Sharon's recommendation a complete KitchenAid suite consisting of double oven, dishwasher, stovetop, refrigerator and microwave. Plus a stove hood and a few other pieces. Excellent selection and very competitive pricing. For our new home we swapped out some crappy appliances pre-selected by the builder and purchased a GE refrigerator and our first Miele dishwasher, and chose a Speed Queen ensemble for laundry. Couldn't be happier with any of the selections. I want to note that our move took us east of Sacramento from the Bay Area, and we were able to select our appliances from their Livermore store with products shipped to, held, and delivered from their Rocklin location, and everything went smoothly and professionally, from start to finish. Sharon even hooked us up with a top notch installer, who after installing new appliances, took our new but swapped-out appliances to local family, installed them at their locations, and then took away their old appliances. Solid A+ orchestration all the way around. Simply the best. Well done.

I thought it was a rude response, as I was just trying to get a feel for why some places do, some places don't. And, an overall idea of what is involved in the installation process. They only had one insert on display, which didn't impress me. I got an urgent work message, so left in somewhat of a hurry, but also left with no interest in giving them my business. Too bad.

Bought a $729 toilet here, couldn't get it to fit in place and they wouldn't take it back!! When I went to return it they asked me if I placed it on the wax ring and I said "yes" because I had a helper and thought he'd already placed it, but that wasn't the case. The base was free and clear of wax. On my first attempt without the wax ring, I realized I couldn't get the bolts into the slots in the floor fitting because the bolts are inside a hole in the porcelain base of the toilet and the walls on each side of the toilet leave no room to bend my wrist and get the bolts in. At that point I realized it was impossible and decided to return it. When I returned it, they asked if I had put it on the wax ring and I said yes initially, because I thought my friend had tried seating it, but he hadn't. So I returned 2 days later with the toilet, told them it hadn't been seated on the wax and they still refused to take it. Also asked me if I had the box and when I told them "no" they restated that they can't take. The box it comes in is well-made of heavy cardboard and put together with heavy staples. It's made to keep the product safe during shipping. No one can't take that box apart and keep it intact for reassembly!! It wasn't meant to be disassembled and reassembled!! Using the box as a "no return" item tells me these two guys are a pair of "scheisters". Stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere!!! Anybody want a brand new $729 unused toilet that is worthless to me!! Thanks for nothing NLB&K!!
