I went to several manufactures first, and after looking carefully at construction, kept looking. What I found at The Garden Teak, was sturdy, well supported designs. We have had our set for maybe 8 years now, and it has stood the test of time. Our oval table, which is 10'+ with extensions, and is as sturdy as ever, and still has the rich dark patina from applying the water based stain that they recommend. I had one issue once with a small dowel breaking, in the sliding mechanism and despite me living in Sacramento, they stopped on one of their delivery runs and fixed it for me, in my own back yard, and it has been solid since. Needless to say, I have been very happy with their quality and service. Per other comments, their products exemplify a happy mix of great quality and low prices.
