The Regan is the wind beneath my wings during gardening season. I love coming in the morning before it gets too hot as this is an outdoor nursery. It is a sight to be seen during rose season. A little slice of color and joy in between Fremont and Union city. I never knew roses could smell as good as they do until coming here. Particularly love the rose arches that greet you in the front. As an intermediate gardener I have shifted to buying more seeds than plants. The Regan offers a great selection of rare seeds you can't find at big box stores. When I do splurge on plants I like to do so at the Regan because they will last year after year. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always happy to give advice. Amazing selection of native plants and fruit trees. I love the strawberry plants with pink flowers :)

Beginner playing around with bonsai. Found this little tree for only $5.00! What a bargain. Roses are blooming now, so many, so beautiful.!

Great selection. Prices are a little high, but worth it for the product. We have purchased several times from here, building a rose garden for my mom and she raves about how amazing they have thrived in her yard.

Been coming to this plant nursery since my kids were little. Fast forward 22 years and 3 houses since, this place has become a zen place for me to pick up beautiful and healthy plants. From rose trees, rare plants (like veriegated Calamansi, Veirgated citrus Kumquat, Chilean Guava plants) and many others. My recent purchase are couple of small indoor plants, a beautiful glazed pot, and a giant Talavera glazed orange pumpkin to add to my garden collection. To date, I have 4 large Talavera clay pumpkins for my garden & counting. What lacks to other plant nursery stores on personal knowledge about their product, this place is the opposite. Staffs are always friendly, knows so much about plant care, and always willing to answer your questions about your purchase. Did I mention, beautiful glazed plant pots of all sorts of sizes (including Talavera pots), myriad collections of healthy Japanese Maple plants & trees, and different plant soils/ substrate are also available. As this place has been an icon in Union City, I pray that Regan Nursery will continue to serve plant lovers and collectors alike! A true Union City icon!

This is a panoramic view of some of the maples that Regan Nursery has in their selection. It is one of the largest that I've seen.

I absolutely love visiting Regan Nursery not only since it's full of plants and flowers, but the staff are welcoming and always willing to answer your questions and help when needed. I was amazed at their selection and amount of maple trees to choose from. They have an area for you to make your own bonsai tree, but it's somewhat limited. If you're looking to make a plant wall, they have plenty of plants to choose from.

Hard to believe I bought roses from here more than 25 years ago and they are as beautiful as ever! Pictures are from only one of my rose bushes. I am planning on updating my garden and getting more pink roses and first place I thought of was this place, of course!

As a Fremont native, I definitely did not realize how lucky I was to live so close to the best nursery for roses! As an adult, I am so happy I still love close by so we can spruce up our yard with all of the beautiful roses at Regan's nursery. They have stem, bush and landscape rose varieties and all different types of varieties and colors. The names are fun as well....Twilight Zone, Henry Fonda, the list goes on! They also have wonderful staff that know the roses. Not just at a high level. We asked about white roses and the awesome gentleman that helped us (wish I caught his name) probed with a few questions on what we were looking for and provided us quite a few options to meet our needs. His eyes lit up when describing the varieties he enjoyed and he made the experience much more memorable. They also have Japanese maples, citrus trees and all kinds of plants to meet your indoor and outdoor needs. They also have wagon type carts you can wheel around and use to keep track of all your new plants. Bonus- they have great descriptions of the different roses online. If you are looking for roses, research online and then come to Regan's and have one of the awesome employees walk you on a guided tour of all the varieties they have to offer. You won't be disappointed!

I love all the plants, and I especially appreciate that the owner features products from other small businesses in her shop. The owner is AMAZING--her personality and aura are truly special. I also love that she hosts different community events, giving people a chance to connect. Plus, she's extremely knowledgeable about plants. I bought a small cactus for about $6, and it's thriving beautifully. Prices vary depending on what you're looking for, and there are plenty of plant-related products available as well. Plenty of parking spaces in the shopping center. I highly recommend this wonderful plant shop. The intentional beauty and attention to detail are evident everywhere. Overall, a 10/10 experience.

The kids had a blast running through the bamboo forest and playing in the dock near the pond. We spoke to Trevor and told him what our yard was like and what type of bamboo we were looking for. What a treat to learn about the different shapes bamboo could take. Most importantly, the bamboo we wanted for one corner of our home receives a lot of sun, and we would have picked a bamboo that turns to yellow in bright sun, not the look we wanted. The icing on the cake, we were given a very helpful book on bamboo and learned a few tricks on how to cut our buckets in half to get more bamboo for the money. You won't be disappointed to visit here.
