5 stars in every way. Long read, here is a detailed review…read more We contacted Mike in mid 2021 for a major job. Very large kitchen in a historic San Francisco home. This was not a $20k or 30k job - it was much bigger. So we had to be absolutely sure of the craftsmanship, the customer service, and more. It had to be fully custom and absolutely world class quality to fit the quality of the home and kitchen remodel. Summary - they delivered beyond my absurdly high expectations. From the very start, my designer had a good feeling about Mike - he was very upfront and transparent, and his whole team was full of nice people. Shelly is very responsive and helpful even with the basic things - you can tell right away they care a lot about attention to detail and to customer service. We hired Mike over 5 others we considered, and he was the most expensive bid actually (not by too much, by about 5% more than the 2nd highest and about 10% more than the lowest). Hiring Dickinson Cabinetry proved to be one of the very best decisions we made in our 1 year long remodel. In the middle of supply chain issues and Covid, Mike was always honest about the timeline. It was a bit longer than I would have liked but that was no fault of Mike's - everything was delayed. But Mike was honest and helpful and level headed about it all. Then came the product and install date. Mike's team, led by Raul, came by for delivery right on time in the morning and let me just tell you - the QUALITY of these cabinets and the wood island is absolutely obvious. The craftsmanship is superb. If you know nothing about cabinets, even then it's obvious. That's the great thing about great things - everyone can tell it's great! Now here is where it starts to get really amazing. We had a few issues and changes requested. Joe was the man here - he was super helpful along with being such a nice guy. He never got annoyed at my small requests and it was clear Joe & Mike wanted my family to be 110% happy. Antonio came by to do touch up work and is a very patient and talented guy. He must have come back 4 times - each time with a smile on his face and endless patience to get it perfect as I wanted it. Antonio did a great job fixing up every little nook and cranny I needed help with - just an awesome job. Some other cabinet makers might make nice cabinets. The Hyatt has nice hotel rooms, too. Mike, Joe, Antonio, Raul, Shelly - they are like the Four Seasons. Every little detail is world class. I have enjoyed every conversation I have had with every member of this team because everyone is just so nice and customer focused and patient. The biggest reason is that they are not cabinet sellers, they are kitchen designers. Lena Pekker, their designer visited our home, understood our needs over a few meetings, and designed a beautiful and functional kitchen for us. While this was primarily centered around their cabinets, she also helped us with colors, fixtures and appliance choices. Secondly, their Italian cabinets have unique features that we loved and couldn't find elsewhere. We found the perfect color and finish for our decor. Thirdly, prices are very competitive for comparable design and quality. Alex in their installation team handled the installation professionally. Overall it was a pleasure to work with Robert Berkovich (Owner) and the entire team. I highly recommend them.

Woodenbridge was our custom cabinet maker as part of a whole house renovation that involved…read moreextensive cabinetry - a large kitchen, 3 bathrooms, entry, laundry room, family room, and dry bar. The quality of the cabinets is very high and they look great! We used a pretty wide array of finishes, from glossy and matte Mirlux finishes to Cleaf wood-based panels in multiple varieties. Our project included bi-fold upper cabinets, appliance garages, a printer drawer, a charging drawer for a hair dryer, coffee center with pocket doors, and so on. They turned out great. There were some hiccups along the way that initially caused some frustration - these were limited to a few areas, but we felt the day to day impact of these was hard to just ignore. What really impressed me about owners David and Tammy (and the rest of the Woodenbridge team) was their openness to discuss our concerns in a very constructive and solution-focused manner. There was never any finger pointing or deflection - just a focus on what could be done to get things as right as possible. As a result, virtually all of our concerns were addressed through their willingness to listen, suggest possible resolutions, and implement what we mutually agreed would be the best way forward. This type of positive can-do attitude and sincere desire to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction is really rare these days. They also emphasize their lifetime warranty and willingness to come out and adjust things as things inevitably become misaligned and need tweaking. As a result you feel confidence that you have a long-term partner in keeping your cabinets performing in top shape for the long term. My "advice" in any extensive cabinet project is to take your time, double-check all the details, and over-communicate as needed to make sure everyone is on the same page. There are enough potential gotchas and options that it's best to align often to avoid potential misunderstandings. The bottom-line is that we're very pleased with how the cabinets in our project turned out, have a healthy respect and trust in Woodenbridge as a result of the process we went through together, and would be happy to use them again in a future project.

Ian was very responsive and easy to work with. We had two sets of bathroom cabinets that had…read morediscolored with age. They were 25 year old custom cabinets so the cases were good but we asked Ian to redo all the drawer boxes to make them soft close. Everything was accurate and quality materials. We restained one bathroom and Ian did a great job of creating a color that worked with the existing flooring. He brought samples and was willing to tweak to get it just right. We couldn't get a stain color either of us liked for the primary bath, so he made all new fronts in addition to the drawer boxes. We had a new walnut kitchen and he selected a very nice walnut sheet and grain matched everything. I wanted flush mount tab hardware that had to be routed in which isn't simple, but it worked perfectly. He did several rounds of varnish so we could get the color to match the kitchen. Throughout the entire process isn't was flexible and committed to doing everything right. The installation was easy--they came and removed all the fronts and drawers and after the work was completed, they sanded and stained the cases and installed the cabinet doors and drawers. One door was a little off kilter and Ian returned quickly to adjust it. His installation team was very good and careful about masking off the mirrors, counter, and floor so everything was protected and they cleaned up when done. Overall a really top notch job (we had a referral from a neighbor whose refinished cabinets were beautifully done by Ian and his team) and I would highly recommend their work and would absolutely hire them again for another job.
