I received my new sofa from BoConcept today and it was worth the 3-4 month wait! There was one slight delay in the shipment due to something out of their control but once they quoted me the second delivery date they stuck with it. Delivery people were on time, super nice, and efficient. My only complaint is that I was interested in the stain-resistant treatment but wanted to know if it was made of toxic chemicals. Kai the store manager is so helpful and knowledgeable! We were looking for furniture at Crate & Barrel and walked into BoConcept without knowing what it was. Kai instantly welcomed us and took us around the store to show us the highlights. I fell in love with the Milano dining table and Indivi couch, and came back again to purchase them from Kai. The only downside was that every piece is custom made, so my dining table took 2 months to arrive and my couch took 3 months. However, it's worth the wait! Both pieces look great and are super high quality. The white glove delivery service was also awesome, the two delivery guys were really prompt and professional and made sure I was completely happy with the placement of my furniture. I spent many months working with BoConcept's Senior Designer, Paul. His contribution to my home's furnishings and overall style cannot be understated. He listens closely for what I want out of my spaces (dining, living, theater) and quickly adapts my input for style preferences into a functional design in my rooms. His renders translate extremely well into the real rooms and I never once feared what I had purchased wouldn't look the way I wanted. In all, I furnished two rooms with two couches, four armchairs, three ottomans, two rugs, one dining table, and eight dining chairs. Each piece was customized to fit the look and feel of the room. We were walking down santana row area to the adjacent furniture store to check out sofas and dining table and noticed the fancy looking store. We went in to have a look at what they offer and we were pleasantly surprised with the adjustable dining tables. It seemed like a perfect fit for our small dining space but it was a bit pricey at first. Dominique helped us out through the showing and eventually the buying process. We searched online for alternatives for folding dining table after our visit to the store but couldn't find anything else that fit the expectations and so we decided to pull the trigger on the Alicante table. Dominique helped us with various quotes and was patient enough to answer all our questions. Since the configuration we wanted was not in the warehouse, we had to wait a 8-10 weeks for the table to arrive. She followed up during that time and kept us informed on the timelines. The delivery of the table was smooth as well, the table for delivered a few days before the anticipated date and the delivery person made sure we were able to extend the table a couple of times before he left. The communication from the warehouse team was also flawless. They called and confirmed their arrival time 30 mins prior. I would highly recommend the table for compact spaces or otherwise. The sleek design and the modern look is what attracted us to BoConcept. read more

During Covid-19, the store followed rules of capacity and masks. I felt pretty safe visiting the store. The staff were attentive and answered any questions we had. We worked with Mia, who was helpful and listened to our needs. She was also very responsive to emails whenever I had questions. The experience was very streamlined and easy. Once we picked our furniture we could email her what we wanted and the rest is done through e-docs (unless you decided to purchase at the store then it's done like a regular purchase). Absolutely phenomenal experience shopping here. When my girlfriend and I moved into a new place, we decided its finally time to grow out of IKEA, and get ourselves some proper adult furnitures. I've always known this place as "the place with super nice but super expensive furniture in Santana row", but after looking around in the market we realized they are actually priced pretty competitively vs other "adult furniture" stores so we decided to give it a try. I think besides the amazing minimalistic look that speak for themselves (see photo below), the thing i appreciate the most is the quality of the shopping experience here. We were very lucky to work Mette, who just moved here from their Denmark store along with Jonas. I mean, how much more authentic can you get, to have Danish folks suggesting you what kind of Scandinavian furnitures to get?? After bringing her the measurements for our living room, we ended up with some classy pieces from the store that fitted our room extremely well. I think as the other reviewers mentioned, she have a good taste and an even better sense of atheistic. After we locked down on the pieces, Mette was extremely helpful along the way, keeping us up to date on the order status, and even lending us a loaner sofa while we waited for our actual couch to arrive! Two minor things about this place 1. The furnitures take a really long time to get here. We ordered ours at end of August, and they were manufactured and shipped from Europe, which ended arriving on the 2nd week of November. I will say the delayed gratification did increase our appreciation for the furniture when they finally arrived, but definitely plan ahead if you are planning to shop here! 2. We were drawn in by the beautiful furniture and friendly salesman. What we got was an exhibition of dysfunctional management. I still do not have a functional dining table that I ordered more than half a year ago. For the prices they charge, it's astounding how painful the process has been. Very abbreviated version (I know, this is already quite long, but trust me, this is an excerpt of how badly they have done): Ordered dining table, chairs and a bed in September. Delivery was delayed. And then delayed some more, so they provided a partial discount on the delivery fee. I didn't get delivery until after Thanksgiving. The delivery folks were clearly not trained for assembly. First, they failed to assemble everything on one visit because they forgot a component. Worse, after assembling the bed they left out a six-foot beam, saying that was just an extra piece. When I inquired, the BoConcept manager on the phone told me to chase down the delivery folks if I could as the metal beam was part of the fundamental structure of the bed..... The dining table was scratched underneath and damaged so that you couldn't expand or contract the table, which was the reason why we wanted the table in the first place. The delivery folks took pictures and videos to report the damage, noting that a new table was needed. I also sent pictures to BoConcept directly as BoConcept requested to facilitate a replacement. Three months later the delivery folks came back to deliver a replacement, but instead of a table it was a section of a table, only a small portion of what was broken. The delivery folks and I were both confused. In April, the BoConcept rep excitedly told me she had a solution for me -- (1) they will send me the replacement table but will take several more months to get it to me or (2) I could return the table but they wouldn't refund the several hundred dollar delivery fee. So in other words, (1) they either deliver what they promised and what I purchased almost a year after I made the purchase or (2) I basically pay hundreds of dollars to rent a broken table....... what a solution! In either case, I've had to take time off work and spend hours with their reps. Their store is beautiful. Their people on the floor are nice. But I was blown away by how incredibly terrible the rest of the experience has been (and continues to be). If you make a purchase here, you better pray that they get your delivery perfect the first time! Otherwise, welcome to limbo. read more

We purchased a Milano table at BoConcept and the experience was mixed. The in-store experience was excellent. Mette and Riza were extremely patient and professional. However, ever since we paid the money, BoConcept becomes the God! More than one week after I paid, nothing was heard from the delivery, so I called the store. The store gave me the number of the warehouse and ask me to call. Why do I have to talk directly to the warehouse? Shouldn't the store talk to them? But that is OK. I called the warehouse. The warehouse said they made a mistake and should have contacted me earlier. On the day of delivery, they were late for more than an hour. One of the two table tops got the wrong size, so they have to schedule for another delivery in the different day. Even with the correct half, the guy screwed the nails into the place with no hole. He basically forced the nail into the board and created a HOLE. Also, we are unable to close the leaf in the middle. Selling the table is not the end of the relationship. Please take care of your customers even after you are chosen! PS: During the purchase, they made a mistake in the quote and gave me additional 15% discount for the table. Then, the next day, they realized the mistake and sent another quote by taking out this discount. Maybe this is how Europeans do business. read more

I don't really have much in mind but after her introduction about their products, I start to have good knowledge about how can I design better for my room.
