They have really incredible designs on display for kitchens and bathrooms. Some things are very expensive but they have affordable options too. This show room might give you a nice impression, all of the employees seem to be nice. I had Carrie Gunn as my sales representative and she seems to be polite, professional.....Until there is a problem, TONS of problems. Words can't describe how awful my experience was with Carrie. Again, she was kind and listening to you as a client and you are almost convinced how reliable she seems to be UNTIL you have issues with/by her, then she would start acting like she did nothing wrong and ignore you(email, text, phone..) and eventually BLOCK your calls and DISAPPEAR even when the project is unfinished. That's exactly what happened to me. "Don't worry!", that's what she used to say very frequently, DO NOT trust her. Here is the some of the major things she messed up with my project( Believe it or not, I have many more). 1. Making mistakes on cabinets measurements       - measured 6" shorter than the actual dining area so cabinets had to readjust later. 1-2" different could happen but 6"?!        She admitted to this mistake and offered me some sort of discount, but she didn't credit back to my card I used for the payment originally, instead, she promised to mail her personal check to my address but it was NEVER delivered. She finally agreed to bring it in person several weeks later.     - She measured wrong for the upper cabinet(Floating shelves) area and I had to cut off my custom reclaimed shelves that I ordered exactly by her measurements.  What happened was that my Hood is 36" and Range is 30", so in order to make both of the piece to be center aligned, the upper cabinet had to be shorter than the lower cabinet, but she did both upper/lower cabinets exactly the same length. Hello?! You don't have to be a scientist to figure out you need to fill 6" gap, especially if you are selling those cabinets for a living.  BTW, there was absolutely NO APOLOGY from her about this ridiculously entry-level mistake.     -I wanted to get the specific microwave and trim kit so I asked her to check the size(cutout, outer size, I even provided the web page to see all info)prior to the purchase, she told me it'll be no problem to fit it to the cabinet. But after I purchased both, we found out that the trim was too wide for the cabinet (3" wider than the cabinet's outer)and she again didn't admit to her mistake and kept repeating, "It should be no problem". Obviously she didn't check the info I sent thoroughly enough.  So due to her "mistake", I had to contact the vendor directly to ask about rebuilding it again. It easily brought a 2-3wk pause for my project. 2. I called her several times to visit us so that she can take a look at the measurement mistake she made. She replied that she'll do that but after she ignored my numerous amounts of phone calls and texts, she decided to ghost me, instead of owning up to her mistakes and discussing with her client. 3. Lastly, blocked my calls and disappeared even though, she knew that I still had to get the quote of the last piece I was hoping to order and didn't even bother to send another representative to finish my project. How childish.  Yes, I agreed that we had lots of altercations(yelling!). Especially, when it was about cutting my custom shelves because of her mistake. What she said at the time was  "Go ahead, you can sue me, I have all paperworks with your signature on it!"  After this feud, we both apologized to each other and agreed to work on the issue to find a solution....then suddenly she's decided to be GONE, why? Simply because she knows what she did was wrong and doesn't want to be accused. Carrie was really UNTRUTHFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL . Even my contractor was shocked how irresponsible she is. You might have some issues with your customer and feel uncomfortable from time to time, but disappearing from an incomplete job is never the option if you're real pro, Obviously She is NOT, And ironically, she said she's THE MANAGER.  The last text I sent to her(it was read by her) was June 4th, 2020. It's June 25th, 2020 today. There was absolutely ZERO following up from her about my project or the last missing piece I was asking for the quote. If I could, I'd give five NEGATIVE stars to their service. Although, I'd lend them one positive star for the good quality cabinets. read more

Is there a way to give negative stars? To summarize, my takeaway is that the commission-style nature of how LUSSO operates disincentivizes associates to invest time in or be responsive to customers with smaller projects, rather than other companies that want to help all customers regardless of budget 1) I have received ZERO phone calls or follow up emails from Lusso since my last email to YanChao asking her for a time to have a phone call re: the quartz slabs 2 weeks ago. It took them 10 days to respond to this Yelp review. Even though YanChao replied to our emails eventually, the responses came weeks later (visited showroom on May 12th and received a generic email without any price quotes of what we saw, followed up on May 25th asking for the exact tiles we looked at and prices, followed up again on June 1st with a reminder, got a response on June 3rd of the style of tile but no prices, so we realized we needed to go in the showroom if we wanted to get any price information whatsoever. From the time of our visit to the time of an email with the tile styles we looked at, that was 3+ weeks to get a non-response) TIP: Do not rely on them to tell you what you saw, write down everything you look at, take photos and ask for prices on the spot before leaving. We let them know we were on a tight schedule before I give birth. With other vendors, I get responses of price estimates within a few hours. Here's the info re: MSI Quartz slabs I was finally provided - the ranges are utterly unhelpful. How am I supposed to decide between the $600 slab or the $1500 slab if I don't know which design it refers to?! 112 x 26 $600 - $1500 108 x 42 $1000 - $2000 My emails requesting a follow up phone call and asking which price corresponds to which design went unanswered (no response to my last email from June 10th despite Cherry telling me YanChao would get back to us ASAP) and phone calls were not answered so we were forced to go with another vendor (Artistic Stone + Tile - they are AWESOME, had prices clearly displayed on all slabs and super transparent, turned around a quote + invoice in a few hours, did the install within a week) 3) We came with a detailed drawing of our bathroom and the square footage we needed we needed tile to cover the ground and shower wall. With other tile places, they sat down with us and guided us on which size tile is optimal (i.e. there's no point in paying for the large slabs if you need to cut down to fit) but Lusso went straight for the largest, most expensive slab even though it would need to be cut into many smaller slabs based on our dimensions. Lusso brands itself as a design + construction consultancy but then says its the customer responsibility to know exactly how tiles should be placed / designed / optimized? You'll get better service from Home Depot. 4) Re: Pricing - here's where I take the greatest issue with as we were charged nearly 2x (82% to be exact) for a large slab which we are unable to use and would need to cut down into much smaller pieces. LUSSO did not tell us they have smaller slabs that would work - thus taking the commission on the larger slabs (we had to do research on our own online to understand the smaller slabs). Please see the photo attached with the calculations of how much more we were upsold - according to the rates, we were paying 82% more NOT .82% more, or hundreds of dollars for tile that would need to be cut anyways. Obviously we've had an unpleasant experience but rather than offering to make this up to us (phone call, personal response, discount) the owner responded with a defensive response. I'm getting the tile installed this week so will post an update if we have issues with pickup or returning the excess. read more

We are so lucky Stacey was recommended to us by our contractor. We did a total house remodel and needed custom cabinets for our kitchen. We knew this would be a large portion of our budget so we wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. As you can imagine during this process we worked with a lot of different vendors and Stacey was by far the best to work with. Stacey did a great job listening to what we needed and was able to build the exact cabinets we wanted. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. She was patient when explaining all the different options we had and we had tons of questions. She made sure the choices we made we would be happy with. Throughout the whole process there was only one time we didn't take her advice and we wish we did! We got beautiful cabinets that fit our new kitchen perfectly. The Crystal cabinets are top of the line. She worked within our budget and was great at communicating. We were having a hard time finding the right tile for one of our bathrooms and she was able to help us find that as well at Lusso. A complete house remodel is scary, and expensive. Are you a Dwell and/or Houzz junkie? Do you hate the idea of having to go to S.F. or L.A. for beautiful modern kitchen and bath design? Went here to look at cabinet handles at my wife's invitation. As soon as I set foot in the door, I realized this is the place we should have visited all along for all kitchen cabinet design (instead of unwisely settling for a Morgan Hill-local outfit - more on that place in a future, very unsatisfied review). I see all the nightmare reviews from paying customers about post-sale service, etc.. They remind me of many of the complaints we had about our kitchen designer, and I am only giving 5 stars here for a narrow reason. If your designer with limited experience or imagination or both is struggling to get you that modern look you're after, go on a field trip to Lusso to enlighten and/or shame them (if they've been insisting that what you wanted "can't be done") into upping their game. Stopped in here with my husband mid-COVID to look at their tiles. We have been here previously and their showroom promotes a "high-end" look and pricing does reflect that. However, they also have some economical options for flooring and sale items. Despite having the name "LUSSO", I would say this is another Chinese company but quality does appear to be a bit better than their neighboring competitor, KZ. Their pricing will reflect that, so it's up to your budget. We came here to look at bathroom tiles and they have a plethora of options. You can't help but fall in love with their showroom. Cherry helped us on our order and she was great. We ended up getting some 24x48 tiles, shower floor tiles, and a vanity. Cherry answered all our questions immediately, and was very quick to respond to us out-of-office. However, the highlight of our purchase was definitely the pick-up. The guys working the warehouse are super cool, responsible, and helpful. They were just GREAT guys and unfortunately, I didn't get their names. Unlike some of the reviews here, I haven't had any issues with my purchase so far but will update if it happens. read more

We remodeled our bathroom with Lusso tiles, vanities and polystone top. Lusso's products are elegant, high quality, and very good price. We checked out dozens of stores in Bay area, and liked Lusso the best. They display fewer but carefully selected high-end tiles, and we immediately loves one of styles. Their designers are fantastic, very nice and friendly and helpful. No store at Bay area provides similar service like in Lusso. Linlin helps us draw a design that layouts 18*36 tiles beautifully. She also helped us customize the cabinets to size of our bath and the location of the water pipes, that saves a lot of labor of our contractor to move the pipes. We're very satisfied with the appearance of our new master bath. We have moved in for 3 months, and so far the products are great. Their new store now have more products on display and new stylish bathtubs, and I want to buy it next time when we have more space :) read more

First the kitchen measurements they provided, then the bathroom tiles quantities, then I have to stop because the pandemic shelter in place. Now I got the tile and trying to finish everything up, something came up again. They vanity they made such a nightmare, not following America standards. The back of drawer to the wall only 1.5 inch. Who designed this piece of junk. The standard water valve is 2 inch long. This case I have to bring the valve in the wall to finish it and it's not under the code. We spent a great deal of money there, buying what we hoped would be high quality bathroom vanities, cabinets and sinks. They sent the wrong vanity, not the finish we ordered. They replaced it. But it took 2 weeks longer than they said, this while our construction was going on. Then, when we opened the sink, we found no faucet hole had been drilled, even though the box clearly indicated that a faucet hole had been in the order. We were told that "All our sinks are like that now, it has to be done by your contractor on site." This was not what we ordered, nor what we paid for. All in all, I cannot recommend them. I was shopping around since last month for remolding of my kitchen and bathroom. Got a referral from my coworker at Google about the new store of Lusso so I decided to give it a shot during lunch break. It turns out Lusso is a new company with various option of tiles and hard flooring, it also has a great selection of stone resin bath products! The sales guy, Qi is a funny guy who was indeed very helpful by offering much info about the character of their product materials! My contractor just picked up the tile today and he is surprised about the quality of tile. Hopefully, my remodeling work can be done by end of May. We worked with designer Cherry who we really liked but she has left. It did made things complicated since replacement parts took over a month in co-ordination. Cabinets look really great and customer service was good when we had issues in some of the cabinets(missing shelves, finish issue in one of the doors). I liked the finish on darker cabinets, white one not so much when you look closely. But they still do look nice. One thing I wasn't a big fan of was the plastic toe-kick stands, but no issues so far. I ended up buying my marble chevron tiles from them and can't wait to install it! Pro tip: come on the weekdays. It's great that they're open on weekends because many places aren't, but there are many other customers. My first impression a month ago was that they were understaffed but after talking to the owners, I learned that they are a new business that evolved from a design-build firm. No wonder their designs are so beautiful. Apparently, they're staffing up to meet the weekend demand. I came today (Monday) to pay and pick up my tiles. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes! Bad communication and unwillingness to further discuss when there're problems. They sound enthusiastic and helpful at first until you pay and they call the job done by delivering your cabinet. We are doing a whole house remodel and purchased engineered hardwood floors from Lusso. We worked with Chelsea who provided great customer service by helping us select our flooring, getting us samples to take to the project site, and giving us a very fair price on the wide plank European Oak flooring we ended up choosing for our house. She was easy to communicate with and followed up with us regularly as we made our decision. We have not yet installed the floors but I will update this review once they are installed. The store itself is big and elegant with beautiful displays. The cabinetry and finishes all appear to be high quality. Five big stars for Ms. Yanchao Sun ! During our whole house remodel, she helped us with kitchen cabinet design, choose floor, choose tile and even LED lighting. She is very patient and detail oriented. Each time we spent several hours to discuss the detail design of cabinets and she never showed any impatience . Every time I have question and requests, she was always able to response me promptly. I can say overall I met with Yaochao dozens of times for the whole remodel period. She's always accountable! We purchased Crystal Cabinet Current line, and Goya tile/show pan , also backsplash with her. They are all in good value and quality. We are very satisfied with the effet after installation.
