11/10 Experience! Paradise Teak was closed when I arrived, but I called and Mandy (owner) personally came to meet me--that alone says a lot. She's friendly, gets straight to the point, and never tries to sell you on something if it isn't a great fit. Prices beat everywhere else I looked, and the furniture is next-level: beautiful designs, solid craftsmanship, built to last. If you're shopping for outdoor furniture, don't bother going anywhere else. read more

Teak furniture can be extremely frustrating! Why is it so $$$ or $? What's the real quality? Can I at least talk to someone on the phone? Paradise Teak is BY FAR the BEST Teak Dealer I've found in 25 years! Their product selection is extensive, their quality is outstanding and their prices are reasonable. Mandy and Scott are super friendly and go out of their way to make you a very satisfied customer! read more

What a nice family! The other reviews are spot on that this is one of the best places to buy teak furniture. The owners, a couple (and their little kids), are extremely nice and helpful. Their collection is smaller but similar in style to many other outdoor furniture stores. I spent two years looking for good quality and reasonably priced (not cheap but also not exorbitant) teak chairs, tables, and benches. It was only 2 weeks ago that we discovered Mandy's store. I wish I knew about them last year!!! Go there. You won't be disappointed. Support a local family business and buy beautiful teak pieces. read more

Today Paradise delivered 4 lounge chairs and a table, and we are Soooo happy--- again! This is my second major purchase from Mandy and Paul, I also bought a table and 8 chairs SEVEN years ago. We ordered in early March 2020, was worried about COVID19 delay, but the deliver came right on time. Great to enjoy this while we shelter at home. Someday to enjoy with guests. Highly recommend this great local company, quality, value, and A+ service. same as we got 7 years ago. Scott read more

Mandy and Paul, the owners of Paradise Teak, were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I researched teak furniture and theirs is excellent 'A' quality and for the best price around. We love our teak furniture and we bought a large table and chairs as well as a couch, lounge chairs and ottomans. The cushions are sunbrella fabric and very comfortable. I purchased a table and chairs from them about 3 months ago. The prices are reasonable and the quality is high. I was happy to chat with the owners who educated me on how to care for the table. This type of teak is often very expensive and I was happy to get this level of quality at an affordable price point. I did seal the table with the product she recommended and so far so good. I opted not to buy cushions for the chairs, but am finding the chairs to be super comfortable. read more

Not sure if this place is still in business, but we bought furniture there ten years ago and its held up great. A bit of sanding and a fresh coat of teal oil and it looks like new. Great quality!!! read more

Mandy and Paul are the husband and wife team that owns this business. Mandy used to be a buyer for Macy before she started this business. If you're not super picky about your teak's appearance, this place is as good as it gets! The prices are great for the quality. I looked at 5 places across the Bay Area and this place's teak is probably not as evenly-toned and knot-free as the others, but if the price is your biggest consideration, this place is perfect. When I asked about the knots, Paul explained that the knots are not at the critical places like the joints. Bottom-line, if money were no object, I'd probably buy from Blue Sky. Otherwise, I'd buy here. read more

Amanda and her husband are super nice and we just bought our second complete set of garden furniture from them.

Mandy and Paul helped with my backyard setup 8 years ago with some very classy and comfortable deep seating - ordered custom colored outdoor cushions ( I highly recommend getting a base color and a different colored piping - for highlights), and a teak side table to set next to my grill , and this week were super helpful adding to the backyard with the Sausalito garden chairs to add to a teak backyard table. Everything is holding up nicely since the first purchase, and the new chairs are a great addition!!! read more

Hallelujah for Paradise Teak. I wish I could leave a 10 star review! They have the highest quality teak furniture at the best prices - PLUS - what nice people the owners are. It's early August and they're nearly out of stock because everyone wants to live outside. We did find a beautifully crafted round table. It was larger than what we thought we wanted but when we got it home - it was perfect. I definitely intend to return in October when their new shipment arrives. What a find! read more

After buying three sets of patio furniture over the years, we decided to go for something durable. We wanted wood furniture. We checked around with neighbors, friends, and online chat spaces. Paradise Teak was recommended multiple times. We went to their showroom on a Saturday. In short, the quality is excellent and the prices are very competitive. We will be buying a table and 4 folding chairs with arms, all teak. Very comfortable and beautiful. read more

VERY awesome local business! Mandy is almost always available by phone. She also corresponds via e-mail. Paul is very helpful in the store, and is very accommodating to his customer's needs. The personal treatment I have received has been second to none. Additionally, the prices are very hard to beat. I have done my research, and these prices are great, for the quality. I am so excited to actually spend time in my backyard now with beautiful, high quality beautiful patio furniture! read more

I can't say enough good things about Paradise Teak. Mandy is wonderful to work with and I am thrilled with my purchase. I work in the luxury furniture industry and with so much disposable, not well made furniture on the market I spent months researching teak suppliers in order to find a quality table and chairs that my family would be able to enjoy for many many years. I have found that treasure at Teak Paradise and recommend them highly. read more

This family-pwned business is inspiring! They created a great store with excellent quality furniture, reasonable and honest prices, and are an amazing warm, thoughtful, and friendly couple and family. Before we found Paradise Team we shopped at other teak furniture companies. Although more expensive, we went with a business close to home. After buying a display room outdoor dining set and table (that was still more expensive than Paradise Teak), we found that in reality the quality and construction were poor and they did not follow through on their customer service, the furniture was in such bad condition we had to return it. Finding Paradise Teak was a breath of fresh air. Paul greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, no hard sell, the furniture spoke for itself as he gave us a tour of the styles and furniture sets. The purchase and delivery of the furniture were honest, fair, effortless. Mandy and Paul run their business with professionalism and care. They truly represent when you want something done right, do it yourself. They definitely do everything right and in a wonderful way! Without any doubt we recommend Paradise Teak to friends and family and everyone! Thank you Paul and Mandy, our yard and furniture look awesome and we enjoyed and are thankful we got to work with you! read more

I just called Mandy for advice on how to clean my OWN teak furniture to get better resale value. I hadn't bought mine from her. I didn't buy any products from her. I told her that up front... that I was simply calling to ask for her advice, and would she be willing to help me on the phone. She totally did! Spent about 5 minutes on the phone with me, gave me clear info with different price options, different options on what I could use from home, what type of brush, cleaner, how to handle mold and mildew, what oil to use afterward and how. I REALLY appreciated your time, expertise, and WILLINGNESS, Mandy. That goes above and beyond being a true professional... that's just helping people for helping's sake. What a wonderful way to live, and take care of other humans' needs. It's how I was raised, and it is the type of professionalism-with-care that I want to support in this world. Thank you. read more

My husband and I were in search of some high quality outdoor furniture and thankfully found out about Paradise Teak. We identified several pieces of furniture, then went to the showroom to check in out in person. Mandy was extremely helpful - she showed us different pieces of furniture (incl. how to extend the length), represented the quality, described how to take care of the furniture, helped us find mattresses for the lounge chairs, etc. we placed an order on site and received the furniture we ordered within ~6 weeks. Paradise Teak arranged delivery and made it very easy for us to accept delivery. We are very thankful for having found Paradise Teak and very appreciative of Mandy and the staff that made it possible for us to transform our backyard into a much more enjoyable place within several weeks! We highly recommend Paradise Teak and would gladly work with them again to order more outdoor furniture. read more

This place is awesome - stop shopping around and visit Paradise Teak! We have a home on the coast in Monterey. I learned the hard way that eucalyptus and resin "wicker" are not equivalent to teak... no matter what the bogus marketing says. These other materials disintegrated in the salt air within two years. My teak lounge chairs, however, look beautiful and don't require a cover. So, when it came time to purchase a dining table set I knew it had to be teak. I'm pretty frugal so I researched this purchase to death. I looked online, browsed the catalogs, and visited local Bay Area outdoor furniture stores. The catalog & online stuff is generally low-quality eucalyptus or acacia. Most of the teak I found online is made with poor joinery and screws instead of dowels. These will definitely rust in salt air ... and even in the Bay Area, they're a liability. Furthermore, the shipping fees negated any savings. I was impressed with the design style at Terra Outdoor, but even with their biggest sale of the year, it was beyond expensive and the delivery fee was outrageous. That's when I found Paradise Teak! Most importantly, the quality is top notch. Paul and Mandy were incredibly helpful - the customer service was an 11 out of 10. (Seriously, they delivered the furniture to the Monterey area, set it up, and then even helped move a larger personal item back to Oakland for me. That's beyond customer service!) Also, if you're not in a hurry, they can custom make items! For us, that meant upsizing their standard outdoor table to 103" X 47". They also upsized their garden bench to 7 feet wide! Thanks, Paul and Mandy. If I'm ever in the market for patio furniture again, I'll be back! read more

We're brand new to the world of Teak, but have to say it should be a long and happy stay. We were going back and forth between rattan and teak and had come across Paradise's website doing our homework last year. Long story short, we made just the right call and with just the right folks. Paul & Mandy made it easy for us (Covid time) to come by and see what we thought we wanted, with some nice pricing too boot. We actually changed our minds once we got into the shop and happy we did. We fully laid out the back yard patios (dining and lounging) and everything looks beautiful!! Preservation effort is moderate, but I want the color to last longer than we do. To top it all off, the craftsmanship is solid; wood fits practically perfect, minimum over-glue, and smoooooth. We were even able to match the new umbrella to the cushions. Read the other reviews for ideas, but know you're in good hands with a quality product! Thanks Paul & Mandy!! read more

My husband and I bought a furniture set for our new house a few years ago and it still looks great! It has endured rain, sun, parties, and who knows what else. We bought the square to rectangle extension set (see link below) and it is perfect. When it is just the two of us, we sit outside, eat, and enjoy the night. Within minutes we can have people over playing games and eating some more and accommodate everyone! I am thrilled with the quality, price, and functionality of this furniture. If we ever get more space, I'm buying the lounge chairs next! http://paradiseteak.com/square_to_rectangle_extension_table.html read more

After we got home with our awesome patio furniture, my fiance went to work putting on the teak sealer. He then tried to connect the base of the table to the top. Unfortunately after much effort he realized that the joints were misaligned and it wasn't go to happen. We called Paul and Mandy and explained the situation. Although this has never happened with one of their tables before they were quick to offer a solution. They gave us a new table as a replacement. Their level of customer service couldn't be higher and they clearly stand behind the quality of their product. The good news is that the replacement table is MUCH easier to assemble... even I could do it! read more

I recently bought a teak set from Paradise Teak and I love it. The quality is really good, the price you can't beat and it was a pleasure dealing with Mandy the owner on delivery. So far this summer we have used it about 10 times and it is not even warm yet!! Highly recommend them!! read more

Don't even go anywhere else. Mandy and Paul run an amazing local business with quality furniture at a price you won't beat anywhere in the Bay. In fact, I've looked, and you won't come close! The pieces (two chairs, a love seat, ottoman and a chaise + side tables) are simply gorgeous; Mandy let me re-arrange her showroom several times while I picked out the pieces I wanted and struck the right balance of leaving me alone and offering suggestions. The showroom isn't pretentious - the products speak for themselves - and the service / attention they give you after the sale is beyond comparison. Thank you for the outdoor furniture of my dreams!! read more

This is a great local business, importing hand-made furniture, made from sustainably-harvested teak. It's a small mom & pop operation and the owners, Paul and Mandy, are easy to deal with. We love the furniture we bought from them. It was also less expensive than similar teak furniture we saw in online stores. The factory in Indonesia forgot to put our custom table in the container for shipping. We had a couple of parties scheduled and the owners delivered a loaner table for us to use until ours arrived. When ours did arrive, they delivered it and assembled it and made sure we were satisfied with it before they left. We are really happy to have discovered such a great local business an would definitely buy from them again, as well as recommending them to our friends. read more

I've been looking for a patio set for a LONG time. For the past few months I've been searching the internet, craigslist, and the local outdoor/patio shops for that perfect set. Last weekend I was about to take a gamble and buy off a store on the internet when I found an advertisement for Paradise Teak on craigslist. Made an appointment for the next day. We found a great teak extended table with reclining chairs for a very fair price. Mandy, one of the owners, was great. She showed us every option possible and was very patient while we made a decision. Paradise teak is run by Mandy and her husband, who started up the company after vacationing in Indonesia. They have reasonable prices because they do all the work themselves - buy, import, etc. - and they do not have an official showroom. Cutting out the middle (wo)man and any overhead costs. We dealt with Mandy and she seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and very customer orientated. The teak set is great. The quality of the wood is top notch and it looks beautiful. I would recommend Paradise Teak to anyone who wants a great deal on quality teak, but doesn't want to buy it off the internet (ie wants to actually touch the product). They have a good size inventory and are very accommodating. read more

After shopping for Teak Outdoor furniture for a while now, I came across an ad on Craigslist for Paradise Teak. They advertised great prices and I had always wanted to drive over there to check out their furniture. I have been to Tom's Outdoor Furniture in Redwood City and found the dinning set that we wanted. Paradise Teak had the same style table and chairs on their website for MUCH LESS! After reading the reviews here on Yelp I placed a call. Mandy was great to talk to and I ended up placing an order over the phone for an Oval 6'-9' expanding table plus 8 chairs. Mandy gave me the 10% discount fro buying a set plus an additional 5% discount for paying in cash. Paul delivered the table and chairs the very next day, on Easter Sunday! I am very happy that I called Paradise Teak. We saved over $500 on out Outdoor furniture by going with them. The quality is top notch! I highly recommend this business. read more

Note that this place sells outdoor furniture, and nothing for your dining room or living room! I visited in December, when they had limited seasonal hours. Mandy was very friendly and agreed to drive out to the store twenty minutes after I had called. She was very helpful when answering questions, and even though I didn't purchase anything, visiting Paradise Teak was a pleasant experience! read more

These two are excellent. They spent a long time working with me to create a custom table and were very accommodating and nice throughout the process. Then had drawings done and sent me pictures of similar ones. Even as I changed my mind a half dozen times, Mandy didn't show a moment of frustration. Even though I well deserved it! There prices were also significantly better than the other places we looked. read more

This really is as good as it gets. They say there are three factors that buyers consider, quality, price and service, and this place gets straight A's across the board. The furniture is solid and well-designed, and somehow this little shop also provides a good variety to choose from. The prices are more than competitive, and the service was excellent. You can schedule an appointment and confer at length about any aspect of the purchase, and without any pressure in any direction. The frosting on the cake is that Mandy and Paul are the nicest people you'll meet that day. read more

We had a great experience with Paradise Teak! We went in only expecting to get a patio table but the prices were very reasonable so we were able to pick up a complete set. Love Paradise Teak - super nice folks, great selection and prices.

We went to 7 patio stores before going to Paradise Teak. Paradise Teak was the perfect blend of quality, value, and great customer service. I am very happy with the set we bought and will be recommending this store to friends and family. I also want to point out that we were late coming to the store on Saturday. When we were near to finishing our backyard hardscape remodel last summer, I was in the market for a "nice" patio set. I had my heart set on Teak but did not think I could afford it. I was on a budget but was determined to find something great and affordable. That is when I found Mandy via Craigslist. Mandy hooked me up! That is before they had their store and were selling simply out of a u-store on Washington Ave. I bought an entire set last year and then went back to the actual store a couple months ago and bought a bistro table. I'm so impressed with the quality and price. Mandy gives you a cash discount and will sell blemmed items for even an extra discount. You can't go wrong with Paradise Teak. Look them up when you are in the market for great quality reasonably priced Teak Wood Furniture. Can't wait until I have enough saved up for the bar, it's AWESOME! read more
