Outstanding Customer Service from Danny at Crate & Barrel!…read more I can't say enough good things about our experience with Crate & Barrel, especially Danny, the store manager. He went above and beyond to make things right, and this is exactly the kind of customer service that earns lifelong customers. My wife and I received a Keurig as a wedding registry gift from my aunt. When we opened it back in July, we realized it wasn't the exact model we had registered for, but we figured it would still do the job. Unfortunately, the machine turned out to be pretty disappointing and eventually stopped working properly. We stopped by Crate & Barrel this weekend to see if there was anything they could do. That's when we discovered that the wrong model had actually been shipped when the original order was placed back in January. To make matters worse, the model we received was worth significantly less than the one we had registered for. Given how much time had passed, we were initially told we would need to work directly with Keurig to resolve the issue. I spent an hour on the phone with Keurig and got absolutely nowhere. Frustrated, I reached back out to Danny at Crate & Barrel, and he told me he would see what he could do. Within 10 minutes, Danny called us back with an incredible resolution: a $240 Crate & Barrel gift card, and we could keep the defective machine! Honestly, we were blown away. Danny could have easily told us there was nothing more he could do, especially given how long it had been since the original purchase. Instead, he took ownership of the situation, advocated for us, and made sure we walked away happy. Mistakes happen. What separates a great company from an average one is how they handle those mistakes. Danny absolutely nailed it, and his willingness to go the extra mile speaks volumes about him and Crate & Barrel. If Crate & Barrel leadership sees this, Danny deserves recognition for the way he handled this situation. We'll absolutely continue shopping at Crate & Barrel, and we're incredibly grateful for his help. Thank you, Danny! This is customer service done right.

Worst customer service. My fiance and I felt profiled, and we will never come back and would not recommend this store.

Kimberley Harrison Interiors - Light and bright kitchen with banquette

I can't imagine how much better the whole project would have been if I had been working with Kim from the beginning! I had never worked with a designer before, nor had I ever taken on a project as big as this one and I feel so lucky to have had the KHI team by my side to get things done. As context, I was remodeling a kitchen, two bathrooms and adding a half bath. The kitchen was totally gutted and actually combined with another room to make it bigger. I had gotten so little help from the other designer I didn't know what to expect, but I knew that I needed help managing the many moving pieces and parts of this project. I also had a time crunch because we were needing to move in soon. Kim was immediately available personally and asked me some questions to assess what I was looking for. Then she and her team got to work! Their process was smooth, efficient and effective. I was given enough choices to feel like I was providing input, but not so many it was overwhelming. They were always on time and did a great job managing expectations with regard to supply chain issues. They also were terrific and keeping me in sync on budget both for their time as well as all the materials they were sourcing for me. One of the things that I thought was most amazing was the attention to detail. They had everything shipped to their office first to make sure it met their specs, and then it was ultimately delivered to my house. That made me feel really well taken care of and it was for everything from huge items to smaller accessories. They made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process and felt like I couldn't go wrong with them. I really can't recommend them highly enough and credit them for getting me sanely through the projects. Their prices were incredibly reasonable and the ideas and inspirations they came back with were all creative and exciting. Kim and her team are super quick to respond to inquiries, but usually proactive in keeping in touch. Since I've finished the project they helped with I've had constant compliments about how nice and how creative everything looks. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone I can. All the stars for KHI!

I regret to say my experience with Kimberley Harrison Interiors has been extremely disappointing…read moreand frustrating. I enter into a contract with her back in January 2024 and terminated it in May 2024 due to spending thousands of dollars and never receiving what was promised. It appears Kimberley Harrison is not a licensed designer since there is no license number on her website, and I was told by the CCIDC that she is not registered with them, California Council for Interior Design Certification. I called them and asked if they could help me, and they said they cannot since she isn't licensed. Unfortunately, in California interior designers are not required to be licensed. Unlike the California State Contractors Board, which mandates licensing and regulates contractors. I have learned from this experience that next time I will use a license interior designer that is registered with the CCIDC. Kimberley Harrison Interiors firm never provided me with an Inspo/Mood board and no "Kick off Meeting" as promised in her contract. She states in her contract this is the launching pad for every new project. After receiving invoices of thousands of dollars for hours she said spent sourcing, I realized something was not right. During their many hours spent sourcing I liked less than half the items sourced. I do not care for marble, and she sent me items with marble. She said, "Oh, I didn't know you didn't care for marble". If she got to know me like her advertising flyers stated and had a "Kick off Meeting" to get to know me and how I plan to use my home space, she would have known. After months of waiting I still had no concept board or Inspo/mood board. I called a few other high end interior designers in S.F. and asked about how many hours it takes to do one of these boards. The range of hours was much lower than what I was being charged and I still have not received any design boards to show for all the money she charged me. I was emailed furniture items they sourced which cost me thousands of dollars in sourcing time. I showed my attorney these items and he said, "Where is the cost of these furniture items?" Kimberley Harrison Interiors never provided any associated costs with the items she emailed me. She said the items were mostly to get an idea of the shapes I like. Really? She also promised that I would be assigned one designer to my project, and it was Ally. I no direct communications with her during the last 3+ months. I learned in May she was taken off my project and moved to another project without any notice. Obviously, the other client took priority over my home project. Kimberley communication with me was done mostly through lengthy emails. Charging me at a high hourly rate is not an effective way to communicate design ideas. It was impossible to reach Kimberley by phone and hen I called I was a told she isn't available. Instead of a returned phone call I would get an email. The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism has left me feeling frustrated and misled. I would not recommend her services.
