Needless to say I left thereafter and wished her good luck with business. Treat your customers with better service and respect. She was rude. It's got a beautiful mix of antique, vintage and vintage inspired wares from a variety of sellers. I saw so many unique paintings, decorations and even furniture that was reasonably priced. Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. If you are looking to add a bit of vintage charm to your home, stop here first. They have a beautiful selection, great prices and are a wonderful local business to support!

No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. Disappointing experience…read more Not a good experience Purchased an expensive wool and viscose area rug that was recommended by one of their designers. They neglected to inform me the material the rug is made of cannot be professionally cleaned. If it is cleaned it will never look as good as it did when it was new, and the overall quality will deteriorate much faster compared to a wool or synthetic rug. Evidently the viscose shrinks and the rug can shrivel. I found this out today when I scheduled professional carpet cleaners to come out to clean it. They refused to clean the rug. I have pets and the designer knew this. If I had known this I would have NEVER purchased the rug. I have also experienced issues with communication. I purchased a painting that ended up not working for me and asked if they had recommendations on where I could resell it. I never got a reply.

I'm sitting on COMFY GORGEOUS DOWN-FILLED COUCH CUSHIONS as I write this for the same price as a sofa with a thin piece of latex cushion from Article. -- Great, expert advice so you get colors, materials and construction that actually makes sense for your life, not just whatever is cool on Instagram Cons: This is actually more of an FYI. They work with a lot wholesale-only furniture brands that only sell through decorators/retail, and anything custom will take a few months(!!!) especially because of COVID. Shannon does know which options are easier/faster to get, but if you really fall in love with a certain piece, be prepared to wait. But honestly, I've read online reviews of people ordering West Elm for a chair, and it taking MONTHS with NO actual updates. In my case, I emailed Shannon, she calls the factory, and I got shipping updates by the next business day.

They also have an outdoor section, with more plants, as well as an upstairs! I saw several rare plants that I've never seen anywhere. That's a PLUS! The staff I came across were very friendly and helpful. More than one person approached me to see if I needed any help. Prices are reasonable. I was lucky to have gone during a 30% off 4 inch plants, so I definitely took advantage of the sale. They have a gift shop as well. Super cute place! If it's your first time, don't pull into the first parking lot marked, "overflow parking." Keep to your right and follow the path down to the main area. There is plenty of parking there. Gianna, and two other amazingly helpful plant experts worked together to find the perfect flowering combination for my pot. While they searched, I strolled through the nursery's beautiful grounds. There were so many colorful flowers, gorgeous plants and trees, and an abundance of vegetable to choose from. Gianna came over to show me what they had chosen, and I couldn't have been more pleased! They took into consideration the amount of light my pot would get, and even chose flowers that would compliment the color of my front steps-so thoughtful Prices were on par for high quality plants. I paid $31.65 for the three beautiful, hand picked plants (Gianna is holding them in one of the pics!)
