The kind lady directed me that they were upstairs. Grabbed a few caulking tubes for a shower door installation nearby. Then went to the drill bit section and obtained 2- sets of tile drill bits, as yesterday I had 1- Bosch drill bit break on me. That sucked. Luckily, I had another brand tile drill bit..Milwaukee Diamond drill bit and it got the job done. Thanks, Milwaukee for your newer Diamond drill bits. Now headed back to the plumbing job to complete. Thank you to the gentleman also at the cash register. They all were very helpful today. Thanks, again. I always frequent this place for parts when I'm in the vicinity. I recommend this Orinda Hardware store.

I asked for a couple hardware items and they said "downstairs" which is a cave of miscellaneous items. I looked for 10 minutes for two common items, but couldn't find them. Finally, I left. As I walked out one man asked, "Did you find what you wanted?" Obviously not as I was walking toward the door. I replied, "I'll buy it on Amazon. It's a lot easier." And I did. No wonder brick and mortar stores are going out of business. Lazy.

While they did not have what I was looking for, the employee that asked if I needed help directed me to a local store that may have it! He was very kind and welcoming and encouraged me to tour the garden which I did! G A R D E N It's large and super varied in plants and had many sculptures that were available for purchase too. There was even a small pond with koi fish! A very peaceful quiet place to enjoy nature, go for a walk, read a book on the various benches and tables in the garden, or hang out with a friend. A Wonderful Find at St. Anthony's Thrift Store!…read more Oh my goodness! I visited St. Anthony's thrift store, and I was so excited to discover some beautiful Waterford crystal pieces. I've always loved Waterford crystal, but nowadays, it can be difficult to find certain pieces in regular retail stores. Some styles are no longer being made, so finding them is like discovering a little treasure! Waterford crystal can be quite expensive at regular retail prices, but shopping at a thrift store gives you the chance to find these beautiful pieces at a more affordable price. Since some pieces are discontinued, you may only find them in antique shops or thrift stores, and you never know what treasures you might discover. I was happy to find several Waterford crystal pieces at St. Anthony's. They are beautiful, timeless, and worth looking for if you appreciate fine crystal. What made my visit even better was the customer service. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and welcoming. She greeted me when I came in, and I immediately felt comfortable shopping there. I could feel her positive energy through the way she spoke to me and offered her help. She was understanding, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. Sometimes, it's not just about what you find while shopping. It's also about how people make you feel. A friendly greeting, patience, and a welcoming attitude can make such a difference! Thank you, St. Anthony's, for the beautiful finds and the wonderful customer service. I will definitely appreciate these special treasures even more!

A man with a vision! Hiring Keith Stover, (Nature's Design), to beautify the front area of my house…read morewas an amazing experience. He already works on my mom's garden, which is breathtakingly beautiful, and for my birthday she split the cost with me to have him work his magic at my house. I know very little about such things so I really trusted him and his vision, and I am so grateful. He was very attentive to my tastes and listen to my ideas. He often gave me options to choose which I liked best. Very quickly we were on the same page about all of the little things that would make me happy. When the first estimate was a little higher than my budget, he pared it down and we focused on the most important areas - and he was still able to make it totally beautiful. Keith was a pleasure. He has a quiet demeanor. He and his assistant were super respectful and it was clear right away that they really care about doing everything right. He stuck to the schedule, he worked super hard and it was immediately evident that he is someone who is very proud of his work, regardless of the size of the project. I'm actually saving money so I can hire him again to add some of the things that were outside the scope of last year's project. They installed an irrigation system and showed me how to program the timer, but honestly I haven't had to touch it. It just works. Everything grew. Everything still looks healthy and gorgeous. It's really the gift that keeps on giving. I'm really proud of my garden, and it really is the result of Keith's vision, Keith's design and Keith's implementation. He's SO GOOD! You should call him and get on his schedule because I imagine he's pretty busy making magic happen :-)
