I was charging my laptop near the checkout and taking a call. A staff member walked up really close to me and just stood there silent. Didn't say hi. Didn't ask if I needed anything. Just stood there looking at me. I called Crate & Barrel and asked if there's a rule against charging a laptop in the store. They said no, it's fine. So I don't know why he did that. It made me feel like I was doing something wrong when I wasn't. I like shopping there and I was planning to buy the vase. But that one person made me hesitant to come back. The sofa was one of the newest design in the store and after checking that they had good warranty and each furniture design stays in market for many years for us to alternate or modify the setting of the sofa in case we move out to a different home. This Korean lady Ms. Choi helped us out and she was very knowledgeable. She made sure we get all the discounts available in the store and was very patient with the purchase process. Not only that, we even loved the delivery process. The delivery men handled the furniture very well and knew what they were doing! It was so fast and efficient. We had this sofa for 2 months now and we still love it to this day. I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality as well. It was a happy coincidence that we stopped by the store and ended up spending $$$ to get a sofa in the middle of Sunday.

Then got a notice of delivery in May but was then told the original headboard was now missing. Finally gave up and returned the order and they refunded me HALF of what I paid. After 5 calls with "customer service" they agreed to refund everything and provide me compensation for my trouble with a gift card. Of course the gift card didn't work...had to call again, then found out the gift card amount was actually subtracted from the amount they were supposed to refund me! I was going to pay for my own gift card!!! Today, I got a refund and the gift card ..still had about $75 less than promised but I give up at this point.. OVERALL, horrible customer service. So many calls to them and you can never get to someone who is actually helpful. No one ever called back to tell me what was going on with my order. They kept $1500 for 6 months and made me fight to get a full refund even when they were unable to deliver my order.
