We interviewed several companies for a full house remodel (new kitchen, new bathrooms, new floors, new stairway, construction, new lights, the full job!) The only suggestion that I would make is to have all of the finishing materials delivered before starting construction. We had a couple of lead time issues with materials even though they were ordered well in advance. If the materials are all ordered, delivered, and accounted for, the process will go fast. If you start construction and then experience material lead time or delivery issues, it will stretch out the project. I started a bathroom remodel with another contractor, he had a contractors license but he hired unskilled workers who destroyed my bathroom. The problems started soon after they started, the tile was installed incorrectly, the plumbing was not code, etc., they wasted materials because they could not make proper cuts. I asked the contractor to stop. The bathroom was out of service for approx., 6 months . I was really scared to hire another contractor because I did not want to make another mistake.
