If there's one thing about me, I love a good antique store, and Antique Corner is probably one of my top favorite places to thrift home decor items! I've gone here on multiple occasions, and it's rare that I leave the store empty handed. They have such a vast amount of inventory, it's easy to lose track of time while you're browsing! They are a two story shop. On the first floor, to the right of the shop entrance, you'll find a lot of gemstone/agate type pieces, along with books and random pieces of decor. Glassware and cookware is also found on this floor, as well as jewelry and a massive record selection toward the back right. Upstairs is home to sections of hot wheels toys, sports memorabilia and jerseys, and an array of other collectible items. Checkout is always such a breeze with anyone who works there. They approach everyone who comes in their shop to ask if they need help with anything, which is always so appreciated! Everyone who works there is so well-versed in the antique world, so it's nice to strike up conversations about what you've picked up, or get suggestions if you're looking for certain pieces. Everything is pretty decently priced. I'm by no means an expert on what antiques should cost, but I feel like the cost of every item I've brought home was well worth it. There is always something new to see when you come to Antique Corner! This is an absolute must visit in Martinez!

This is a fun antique shop that has a little something for everyone. Selection: 5/5 This shop has a lot of variety of different types of items. It has each section organized so similar products are in each section. They have items ranging from toys, figures and collectables, comic books, old books, furniture, art, sports memorabilia (some signed), lights, jewelry and more. Customer Service: 5/5 The staff welcomed us and asked if they could help us find anything particular. They were very knowledgeable about where everything is located in the store. I got into a good conversation with one of the employees and he was very nice and personable. They also have a coffee maker and offer complimentary coffee to all customers at the front of the store. This is a nice little touch that I had never seen at an antique store before. Price: 4.5/5 The pricing overall seems pretty reasonable. There were a couple items I saw that seemed to be a little expensive but, I also saw a few that seemed to be a pretty good deal. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Space: 4.5/5 This is a 2-story shop and there actually is a lot of space. They have main walkways with each little section that is off to the side. There is also items in the middle separating each walkway. Overall I think the space is great and we went during a time when it was not crowded. The only reason I am rating it a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because the walkways are a little narrow, so you need to get pretty close to people if you are passing by in the main walkway. But, this is very petty. Parking: 4/5 There is ample parking just across the street and metered parking on the street. The only reason I am rating it 4/5 is because all parking is city parking and therefore you have to pay. However it is not very expensive. We only paid $1.50 for almost 2.5 hours of parking. If you are exploring downtown Martinez, this is a great little place to swing by and check out. We usually like to come here after eating at the little Chinese restaurant "Sun Garden" right across the street.

Big fan of Antique Corner in Martinez. Within the last couple of years, they have made the space more conducive to shopping. The vendor spaces are more aesthetically appealing and the focus is on quality rather than quantity. There are two floors of antique finds and vintage inspired goods. This includes glassware, kitchenware, clothing, jewelry and artwork. Staff is very welcoming and friendly, even putting out snacks for their customers. Many dealers will often have sales and I usually find their prices more than fair. It's fun to browse and once in while I will find a unique piece to take home. Holidays are especially fun to visit with all sorts of ornaments and decor that bring you back to a simpler time. This is a must visit for anyone who enjoys a day of antiquing.

He like I bought records Woohoo!!!!!

A must visit!!!! In Martinez!!! Welcoming staff offering assistance and sweets pastries and something to drink a five stars customer service, extremely clean incredible collections of collectibles and there is a second floor with a huge collection of Coca Cola inventory, I found milk glass collection and the hubby found a giant collection of records upstairs on the second floor, the inventory is so crazy and fun you must come and take a peek, you won't leave empty handed.

This was one of the last stops of the day for us while antiquing. There is quite a bit in this building to look at and they also have a second floor there but out of all the places that we've been to that day this is one of the places that is priced highest. Definitely walk-through take a look to see what they have. They carry things from old books, crystals, toys, cameras, vintage things, hot wheels, all toys, old vintage furniture and they even have an oddity case for those who are into that stuff. The staff there is definitely friendly I will help you if you need to look at anything. Not a bad place to walk to to look at things to kill some time and to look at things that aren't really around anymore.

New owners and excellent selection of antiques, vintage and collectibles! Over 20 dealers with a wide selection of merchandise (don't forget to go upstairs to find some truly unique items)! And records, lots of records upstairs!

I bought the cutest 1950s lucite purse, I'm repurposing to be my lunchbox - they have so many goodies, but really happy with my rare find, plus it was 20% off!! The sales person was very friendly and patient with my indecisiveness so extra stars for just that!

Great place for finds! Small on he outside but big on the inside. Downstairs and upstairs for a wide range of antiques and collectibles. All of it is beautifully displayed.

I am facing a dilemma...I can only carry 1 item home in my back pack and I love the Felix the Cat clock and the pink ceramic day of the dead skull.

Pretty china plates. Store has lots of china spread throughout store on both floors.

Found this store on my first day visiting downtown Martinez and really liked it. If I hadn't been so worried about my meter expiring a couple streets down, I would have spent a lot longer strolling around the store. I was greeted immediately by a woman behind the counter. The booths are so much fun exploring. There is A LOT to see. There are two floors. Depending on who the vendor is, I thought for the most part that the prices were reasonable. I settled on two china plates. I was hoping the friendly woman would have been my cashier, but when I got up to the counter she was away from it. Instead, there was a man behind the counter wearing an old stained t-shirt who saw me, but didn't acknowledge me. I figured he either does not run the register or clearly does not want to work. So, I stood there. And I stood there. He still didn't acknowledge or call out for someone to help me. Finally, the nice woman came back to the counter and the man says to her, "Do you want me to get this?" She cheerfully grabbed a plate and began to wrap it for me while he filled out the receipt pad and rung me up. Are you kidding me?! So, he CAN ring people up? Good grief. Incidentally, the man never once said hello or thank you to me. So for me, the store is just "A-OK" (in Yelp rating lingo) and not "Woo-hoo, As Good As It Gets." I would have given it another star had I not been treated like a pink elephant.

Really friendly folks with shabby, funky, rusty antique/vintage items. Enjoyed my visit and found…read moresome very interesting unique items. I deduct one star because I have been in the antique design industry for 8+ years with an Etsy store of my own. I also work at an antique store in Pacheco..... so I have some background knowledge here. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.

I pass this place often on my way to 24 Hour Fitness and finally had the chance to stop in last…read moreSunday. It's got a beautiful mix of antique, vintage and vintage inspired wares from a variety of sellers. I saw so many unique paintings, decorations and even furniture that was reasonably priced. Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. If you are looking to add a bit of vintage charm to your home, stop here first. They have a beautiful selection, great prices and are a wonderful local business to support!
