I didn't get a warm welcome; in fact she left me standing there awkwardly for at least a few minutes with my arm full of coats before asking if I "needed something". She then proceeded to tell me you can only consign by appointment and that this information is on their Instagram. It is not. (I have included a screenshot of their account so that they don't update it and claim that it said by appointment only all along) I see that a previous reviewer had a similar experience, so I can only assume she interacted with the same woman whose customer service appears to be contingent on her visual assessment of you. I wanted to support a small, local business instead of selling on The RealReal, but after this interaction I would never set foot in this store again.

I usually buy shoes, handbags and sunglasses. However, they have lots of clothing, jackets, and jewelry as well. I've read some of the reviews and they say a lot of times people don't greet them while they're shopping. That has happened to me only once. They usually have a lot of great friendly employees ready to assist you. If you are selling clothes, you need to call them and make an appointment which I recommend. Another tip is if you're selling clothes and have a haul to bring in they have a parking lot in the back with easy access to the store. They also have plenty of street parking in front of the store and nearby. I recently went in to pick up a bag that I had them pulled because it didn't sell at a higher price so I decided to keep the handbag and to pick up my check. I hate to admit, however, they sometimes can be a little forgetful when it comes to mailing you your check. I recommend calling in to see how your clothes are doing, and if they've been sold I ask them to mail me my check. And unfortunately they have forgotten two times to mail me my check so now I just pick up my check and I also use it as an opportunity to shop and have lunch in the area. I enjoy and recommend Labels to all the fashionistas out there!
