I usually buy shoes, handbags and sunglasses. However, they have lots of clothing, jackets, and jewelry as well. I've read some of the reviews and they say a lot of times people don't greet them while they're shopping. That has happened to me only once. They usually have a lot of great friendly employees ready to assist you. If you are selling clothes, you need to call them and make an appointment which I recommend. Another tip is if you're selling clothes and have a haul to bring in they have a parking lot in the back with easy access to the store. They also have plenty of street parking in front of the store and nearby. I recently went in to pick up a bag that I had them pulled because it didn't sell at a higher price so I decided to keep the handbag and to pick up my check. I hate to admit, however, they sometimes can be a little forgetful when it comes to mailing you your check. I recommend calling in to see how your clothes are doing, and if they've been sold I ask them to mail me my check. And unfortunately they have forgotten two times to mail me my check so now I just pick up my check and I also use it as an opportunity to shop and have lunch in the area. I enjoy and recommend Labels to all the fashionistas out there!

Sadly, my next two visits left me a bit disappointed. First the young girl behind the counter does not greet or talk to you at all. She sits looking down at her phone the whole time I'm in there. Yet, the shoe shelf is disheveled, lots of the clothes on the racks are not straightened - buttoned, tied, adjusted on the hangers so that it doesn't fall off when you move the hanger, etc.. The racks are filled almost beyond the ability to move the items easily. The prices are now pretty outrageously steep - even for quality, higher end items. I hope this is just temporary and that my next visit will prove me wrong.

There wasn't anyone in line so it was quick and they gave me the 50% off discount without me having to remind them. Prices are overall reasonable, and they had some discounts going on. They seem to discount by color tags, and they actually take those items out and put them in a specific section so you're not hunting for those sales like many other thrift shops. There are three fitting rooms in the back that are covered with curtains. You can sign up for their membership with your contact to earn points on purchases and get notified for their sales, as well. Staff were also very friendly. Parking lot was decently sized, but if you come later, it may be a bit more challenging to find parking (some spots are designated for a nearby business and some are 15 minute only spots).

Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.
