The newest Costco in the East Bay is nice, clean, and well-stocked. It's located near the 680 freeway side. The parking lot configuration is okay, could've been bigger and better. This location offers EV charging and a gas station for its customers. Plenty of sample tables to try all sorts of products. There is a good mix of Asian snacks and frozen food items available. The deli, meat, and produce section carry fresh items. The check out section has a self-check out area for less amount of items to scan. This is a great place for your grocery and shopping needs if you are in the area!

I came to get gas and bought a dozen eggs, banana, and longan fruit. My first time seeing longan fruit at Costco, pretty cool!

This place is not recommended The supposed manager Glen doesn't have customer service skills at all! Today is Saturday the 14th and it was 3 pm and they ran out of filet mignons $20 off Really?!!! They also don't have a lot of beef...1-2 packages of each ... Seriously ...when we asked him if he could substitute or give us the $20 off next week He basically said "Oh well we can't do that and they give us a smaller volume and smaller warehouse and we can't lose the money or eat the cost because we don't do that much volume as Danville" Omg this Costco and Hayward Costco we don't like because they have bad attitude and not accommodating at all and they need to talk to who ever do the inventory for stocking meat! And to think this is a newly built Costco! Glen -you need to get more customer service training! At least Hayward Costco now carries ipa beers! Gonna send this to the Costco headquarters too cos I have been a member for 30 yrs!

This Costco took forever be be passed by the Pleasanton naysayers and environmentalists legal issues Covid a lot of factors which made it take forever to become a reality. The huge question was the location kinda squished in a 580/680 free way corridor where hundreds of thousands of cars bypass weekly . I was even skeptical because there was on my two way s to enter the location proposed. On paper it didn't look like a smart idea at all . I was really skeptical. But in 2024 November it finally opened and Pleasanton residents had its own Costco to call their own , no more going to Livermore or Danville to share a Costco . This even had a full size gas station with plenty of pumps. There has never been a bottleneck getting in and out . Costco did a wonderful job with the roadwork and freeway exits and entrances . Timed lights it all worked out. Inside this is your basic Costco , lots of tables and seats for the food court and is a very large inside. I never had an issue here. I know have an option to pick 3 shopping Costco in has it's own advantage in their own location .5/5 It's never too late - great things come to people who wait an the people of Pleasanton waiting patiently for theirs and the have an awesome modern Costco , finally.

4 stars because the food court food was so fresh and delicious! The store was also very clean! BUT oh so crowded, however, I realized that can't be helped for a Saturday. It's nice and new, so I was surprised that there weren't more cash registers.

Entrance, nice and new looking building.

Nice looking Costco. Seems it's pretty new, turns out it was opened just last Nov 2024. Definitely much better than many of the other ones in the East Bay. The building looks quite new, clean and wide entrance. You can see the mountains surrounding so it's a great view out front. Gas station was easy to access and lines were short and no wait, not to mention prices much less than South Bay and even other parts of East Bay. The rest of the store looks like the typical Costco, but there's an optical department which not every location has. Staff are friendly and quite helpful. Overall, a great location and convenient.

Costco recently opened a new location here. Long lines entering, difficulty parking, outage of certain items a guarantee. Never tried to grab those boozy spirits on opening day. Not a fan of waiting in line. Finally went. This costco the biggest i've seen. Even has a large electronics department. Every department bigger than the usual. Even self check out lines open. Went in the afternoon, easier on my nerves & patience. Just grabbed a few necessary items & split. No browsing around. Didn't stop for samples. Wasn't looking either. Just watching for the inattentive shopper(s). Buys: vitamin E (9.49) -for antioxidant benefits Extra virgin olive oil (26.99) -a shot in the evening has reputed health benefits Multigrain crackers (7.69) -low sugar, salt, fat content, no bad carbs. Good for snacking. Better than wheat or potato based snacks. 4ish stars. Associates working here fab. Shoppers inattentive....

No issues here. I don't know why the reviews are so low. I had a good experience. This place is nice!

New Costco with A LOT of parking space. This location was very crowded, but there was so much space that we were actually able to navigate through quickly. I saw all the great posts online so I was expecting a lot of unique things, but it was your standard Costco. Also Excellent Customer Service. Everyone was friendly especially the worker that checks your receipt. Please keep doing whatever you guys are doing. :)

Came at 8pm and done by 8:41pm. Very impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency of the service at the check out and food court. Still lots of people at closing. Parking was ok at 8pm. Possibly crazy this morning. So happy Costco is here. On such a busy day, staff is so friendly. I thanked them for working today. Wow, I was impressed, people were still walking in at 8:44pm.

I have had experiences with the managers Billy and Craig and both are absolutely amazing. They help, listen and make sure you the customer are completely satisfied. I have a Costco closer to me, but the staff there seem overworked, and the managers treat you as if you are bothering them, so I drive farther to Livermore for better service. Having great managers in Livermore also rubs off on the staff. You are greeted with smiles and upon leaving the gentleman that checks receipts was waving and smiling at us before we even reached him. It was so wonderful that even after a stressful day, you smile as he's waving to you. The variety in the store always seems to be stocked well and the only fault you will find is parking outside. You need to be patient and willing to drive around for a parking spot. It may take extra time but I find it worth it for the service. I've been coming here for over 20 years and don't have a complaint.

This review is more about the T-Mobile kiosk within the Livermore Costco. I'm posting here, since I…read morecan't find a review for the kiosk itself. My wife and I have been buying cell phones from the kiosk forever- we must've purchased 10 -12 phones from them over the years. It's kind of hit and miss whether you get a "good" associate or not. We've been eyeing the Apple iPhone 17's and finally pulled the trigger. This time we got the worst sales person of all time. We had already been to the kiosk a couple of times over the weeks leading up to the sale, so we pretty much knew the promotions that we were going to be getting. But this guy didn't bother to tell us anything about it nonetheless. He did manage to try to upsell accessories, etc. as that is part of his job. But what irked me the most was when he asked if we wanted to purchase the additional protection and I specifically answered "no". Sure enough, T-Mobile sent us a text saying that we were enrolled in the plan. When asked how long should we expect for the arrival of the phones. He just blurted out an unthoughtful "2 days", as he didn't care at this point and he was just trying to get off the clock to take his meal break. If there were a place for me to report him, I surely would. Over the years, we have watched that kiosk decline in the value you get from buying from them. And a couple of years ago, the kiosk turned into a T-Mobile specific location. The sales people have sure gone become more disappointing in all aspects. I'm sure that Covid changed everything, including wages and trying to recruit quality employees- as a business, they just need minimum-qualification warm bodies to man the post. So sad to see how low they have gone. **Update** We got our T-Mobile bill. On it was a charge to a phone number in JAMAICA! and guess when that call was placed? Yup, when he had my phone and was doing whatever. It's possible that he was just working too fast (carelessly) or just fat-fingered a phone number (carelessness), but he could've/should've let me know that he called a wrong number and to just address that call with T-Mobile later, or better yet, he could have just addressed it to HIS company right then and there. That would've been the RIGHT thing to do. When we noticed it on our bill and matched the incident with the exact time that we were buying new phones, we did address it with T-Mobile- they were good about omitting that charge and they gave us a credit for the "mistake". We made sure that they put in an incident report for that employee. I am still scratching my head how T-Mobile can hire such low-life people to represent their company!??
