DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EVER NEED TO USE CASH. I came here to get a quick car wash, and the payment machine wasn't taking my cards, so I used two $10 bills to cover the $14 car wash. The machine printed a receipt telling me to go inside to get my $6 change refunded since it didn't have any cash to give back. I went inside, and the clerk looked at me, dumb as a sack of shit, like he'd never had to give $6 cash back. A minute later, dumbass clerk #2 arrived, and he was just as incompetent as the first guy. They asked me for my card number to search for my receipt, and I told them I paid with cash because it wasn't taking my card. Both these guys were speaking in Indian back and forth until one of them said, "Can you come back tomorrow, brother?" Come back tomorrow for $6, I thought? I'm in the United States, not in fucking India, and I shouldn't have to barter for my change. I never leave reviews, but now I need to go on every platform to blast these dumbasses. read more

It has been many years since I have seen a gas station so well maintained both inside and out. I felt like I went back in time, to a place where people really cared about their jobs. A place where people were nice because they truly are nice. It felt great to be able to get out of your car and pump gas and not have your shoes sticking to the pavement for once. They even wipe down the pumps. The store interior is very clean and the shelves are loaded with everything under the sun. If I were driving out of town, it would be a joy to stop here to by gas, among other things. Rather than the run down rat trap dirty filthy gas stations that seem to have overrun our towns & cities. I visited the Shell station for gas & car wash yesterday on my way to Target. I saw another Yelper's picture of the car wash options & prices so I opted for the Ultimate car wash. When you approach the car wash entrance, there's a long handled brush in a cleaning solution as a pre wash scrub option (which I didn't take). The car wash was quite thorough & the dryer has large, angled dryer tubes that are very effective. Best of all was the price! $10.99 (one dollar off with gas purchase). If you're ever in Dublin, this place is super convenient for gas & a great drive though car wash. read more

This is the best gas station I have ever been to. Does your local gas station have a water fountain/statue/art in it? Do the pumps and card payment thing not feel grimy icky but actually look like they've been cleaned just a few minutes ago ? The best part are the bathrooms! First, I really appreciate when single stall bathrooms have an occupied or un occupied indicator on the door. There are 3 bathrooms here and they all have a vacant/occupied doorknob on them. You always have to brace yourself when entering any gas station bathroom but this one was so pleasantly surprising!! It smelled clean, it looked clean and there was plenty of soap! FIVE STARS for their COFFEE. The Carmel Foglifter & Vanilla Nut coffees are phenomenal. I prefer their coffee to the coffee hot spots. A bit pricey for a 'gas station' coffee but its worth it for the quality and taste. I gave this place 3 stars because the service often leaves a lot to be desired. There's usually one employee that has service with a smile, and always at least one that makes me want to never come back. Dear Shell, Could you please shut the heck up when I am trying to refuel? Your video pumps are annoying as hell. Every time I pull into your stations I feel like Tom Cruise in "Minority Report" the way your pumps start with their advertising blaring out at 100+ dbm every time a customer try to refuel! Tonight after coming from a movie I had thought " well I haven't been to a Shell station in a while and I need gas. Maybe the advertising has stopped since my last visit?". So now after 4 years I give the Hacienda station in Dublin a chance. As I pull in under the covering I see them. The white red and orange ogres waiting with their video screen. My gorge rises and I feel the adrenaline begin to course through my system to a greater degree. As I pass a few of the ogre I notice the screens are moving an not all of them in the same way. Still I have steadied my nerve to try and give them another change. As I stop to refuel at the ogre on the end I I can hear something. But still I hold my mind steady with and iron will. Then I pull our my wallet, insert the card into the ogres mouth. The ogre starts wailing some two dimensional script advertising in my direction. By then my entire demeanor has turned to stone except for one flaming blade of emotion that directs my fist squarely to the center of the video screen. Unfortunately this Shel's ogre pump is tough and continues to send fourth it deafening message falling onto what is the dry landscape of my consciousness. Still, I hold out some hope like a drunkard's spouse there may be some way to stop the soul sucking cacophony issuing forth from the ogre pump. Into Shell's hut I go to talk to the ogres handler. Once inside a question posed to the poor zombie is responded with a total lack of understanding and ability to shut the ogre up. I thank the Shell's zombie and ask where the nearest non-Shell fueling station is located. Fortunately the zombie is able to tell me where another ogre-less station is located. I exit Shells hut and leave the Shell ogre unfed. Shell, No thanks for your wailing ogre fuel pumps. Shell, no thanks for your tainted convenience store items. Shell, you no longer appreciate your customer base and instead view them as marketing mindless marketing targets Shell, not only will you not see my business again in my lifetime, I will also relay my poor customer experience at your sorry stations with the hope of recruiting business to any other fuel supplier out there. May all of your ogre pumps remain unfed from any customer dollars in the future! 76, thank you for the serenity of your quite and calm non-video fueling stations. 76 may be a little more expensive but 76 is worth it int order to keep from having to raise a mental shield on every visit. This is my favorite stop on the way to the Bay Area. We almost always stop here. The bathrooms are VERY clean. It is a great place to stop go to the bathroom and grab a drink and/or snack and sometimes gas. The employees are friendly and fast as well. I have used the car wash once and it worked well. My wallet was stolen at this gas station (PUMP 2 right under the camera!!!!), and I gave them all info to contact me, because the MANAGER is the only one who has "access to cameras". Since starting work in Dublin I've come to this Shell a lot. Inside and out is always clean. The restrooms are well maintained. The service I've had both good and bad, but mostly good here. It get's a little cramped when there busy, and no one knows where the line begins, so everyone just crowds together. And I know I really shouldn't be eating gas station food, but when I'm up really early, and don't have time to make breakfast, sometimes gas station food is the only option. It's not horrible, but trust me, nothing gourmet so don't expect that. The last time I had a bacon egg sandwich from them, sadly there was no bacon. Just a round disc of bacon fat, which had to be thrown away immediately. I haven't had any gas pumped here, or gone through the car wash so I can't comment on those. But the fact that the pumps are constantly packed and the car wash always busy, I can only assume that it's because the place is well liked. read more

Shell gas is pricey that's why getting fuel rewards is a must. Pumps as well the inside store is ultra modernized while the staff are friendly. Their car wash is okay even if it didn't spray the rear of my 4Runner with soap. I guess that's why the brushes cycle through the vehicle at least 3 times! The gas isn't the cheapest around, but it isn't the most expensive either. It has a Cox Family Stores convenience store for all your munchie run needs. It also has a drive in/thru car wash and you can get a $1 discount on car wash with fuel purchase (5 gallon minimum). We did the express wash ($6 with gas purchase) and it got the car plenty clean. The most unique thing about this gas station was the tv screen mounted above each pump. It was showing Olympic highlites and weather forecasts this morning. It is located just off the 580 Freeway at the Hacienda exit and has easy access on and off the freeway. It is also situated in a shopping center with a myriad of food choices, both sit down restaurant style and fast food style, if you're trying for a one stop fill everybody up kind of deal. read more

Clean and easy to see from the freeway. When I am low on gas the last thing I want to do is get off on some unknown exit and hope that there is going to be a gas station someplace along that exit. So being able to that there is a gas station at this exit is super nice. To top it off it is a large and clean station, both at the pump and in their mini-mart. We love our car wash. But it doesnt show how much when you purchase at the gas station. We purchased the plus. The front plate its still a bit dirty cuz we just came back from LA and it had a lot of bugs stick on our front of the car. The windshield and side mirror are pretty clean. They have a decent car wash with drying towels. I've been to the car wash across the street and honestly I think this one does a better job. Though they do have tire scrub brushes over there. Gas was the same price as the Santa Rita Shell station, but lately they've been slightly higher here at this station. To be exactly, 1 cent higher! So if you're looking to save 1 cent per gallon, and it has to be Shell gasoline, head over to Santa Rita. But why I gave them 5 stars was b/c they gave me free air! At the air/water pump outside, it says it needs $0.75. WTF?!! I went inside and asked her to "turn on" the air pump. She said, "Ok." Awesome possum!!! Saved myself 75 cents!! The savings will go towards the more expensive gas they sell here!!!! read more

It's conveniently located right by the freeway.. which means, you're probably paying a little more for the convenience. And this place is fancy.. there are TVs at every pump playing some sort of commercial which can be really annoying if you're just trying to pump and go. read more

I came into this location to buy an energy bar prior to going to the gym. I found a box of bars priced at $2.79 and grab one to make the purchase. The employee on duty, Patricia, scanned the bar and the scan priced rang up as $4.79. She then told me she would not sale it to me for $2.79, even though the entire box was labeled as such. I then asked her to come look at the location where the bars were and verify that they were priced at $2.79. She did so and then ripped the price labels off of all of the products. Her service was terrible and a poor reflection of satisfactory customer service. read more

Well, when I find a business that is extraordinarily good or bad, I have to write about it. This gas station fits that criteria, in a good way. Other than their prices being on the higher end of the spectrum, this place rocks. Very friendly people working there, well stocked store with plenty of snack options, a car wash, and the cleanest, most impressive restrooms I've seen in a gas station. Remodeled with fancy tile walls and inlays, slate floors and a nice rug. Wait...am I in Nordstroms' loo? Nope...a gas station. Pretty impressive. The owners of this station also own the Hopyard/Owens Shell, and they recently remodeled that restroom in the same ornate style. I don't normally review a lot of gas stations, however I can not seem to find a gas station that has a car wash that has foam sponges in their car wash since most have gone to touch less, which I call worthless. This place has a really decent car wash and my car is always clean afterward including my Windows, if you come here save your lucky fuel rewards card to get discount at the pump. Afterward you're right there at Hacienda crossings and there's plenty to do. When I get my car washed I make the drive from the East bay over the hill. read more

I hate this shell station. they are 5-10 cents more expensive than the Shell that is closer to my house, but they have a car wash. When I'm desperate for a car wash, I come here, but the last 2 occasions I have come specifically for a car wash, I have left without one. Once was because I had paid for the wash, gotten all the way to the wash only to see a sign saying "car wash out of order" (they seriously couldn't have put a sign on the pumps? or better yet at the entrance to the line for the car wash, instead of all the way at the terminal where you type in your code?!). Today I got all the way there, and was behind the biggest moron in the world. She would not leave the car wash! Finally she did, but she sat in the exit area, which meant my car wash would not start, apparently. So finally I drove out of there, honked at her, and went in to get a refund. They DO NOT want to refund car washes. I tried the first time to get a refund, but no, and they were so rude about it.. This time they were at least nice about it, but still not interested in giving a refund. They gave the whole "its valid for 14 days", but I suspect that the car behind me actually used my car wash. A bird pooped on my car while I was out at the movie so I thought I pop in here and get gas and my car washed before it had a chance to get super gross. I finally got my turn at the car wash and air dried, but when I made my next stop I noticed the bird poop was still there but it had become a bigger mess and the rest of my car had huge dirty water marks like it had been out in a rain storm.
