This review is more about the T-Mobile kiosk within the Livermore Costco. I'm posting here, since I can't find a review for the kiosk itself. My wife and I have been buying cell phones from the kiosk forever- we must've purchased 10 -12 phones from them over the years. It's kind of hit and miss whether you get a "good" associate or not. We've been eyeing the Apple iPhone 17's and finally pulled the trigger. This time we got the worst sales person of all time. We had already been to the kiosk a couple of times over the weeks leading up to the sale, so we pretty much knew the promotions that we were going to be getting. But this guy didn't bother to tell us anything about it nonetheless. He did manage to try to upsell accessories, etc. as that is part of his job. But what irked me the most was when he asked if we wanted to purchase the additional protection and I specifically answered "no". Sure enough, T-Mobile sent us a text saying that we were enrolled in the plan. When asked how long should we expect for the arrival of the phones. He just blurted out an unthoughtful "2 days", as he didn't care at this point and he was just trying to get off the clock to take his meal break. If there were a place for me to report him, I surely would. Over the years, we have watched that kiosk decline in the value you get from buying from them. And a couple of years ago, the kiosk turned into a T-Mobile specific location. The sales people have sure gone become more disappointing in all aspects. I'm sure that Covid changed everything, including wages and trying to recruit quality employees- as a business, they just need minimum-qualification warm bodies to man the post. So sad to see how low they have gone. **Update** We got our T-Mobile bill. On it was a charge to a phone number in JAMAICA! and guess when that call was placed? Yup, when he had my phone and was doing whatever. It's possible that he was just working too fast (carelessly) or just fat-fingered a phone number (carelessness), but he could've/should've let me know that he called a wrong number and to just address that call with T-Mobile later, or better yet, he could have just addressed it to HIS company right then and there. That would've been the RIGHT thing to do. When we noticed it on our bill and matched the incident with the exact time that we were buying new phones, we did address it with T-Mobile- they were good about omitting that charge and they gave us a credit for the "mistake". We made sure that they put in an incident report for that employee. I am still scratching my head how T-Mobile can hire such low-life people to represent their company!?? read more

Ever since Pleasanton Costco opened Livermore checkout has gotten terrible. They have two people if you're lucky maybe three people checking out sometimes they have one person with a manual scanner that only scans people that have a couple items in their cart. I feel like instead of them doing that when the line start getting backed up, they need to open another lane. I had a lot of stuff. The people in front of me had a lot of stuff and it was a long wait very disappointing in Costco. My son and I came here to eat lunch this past Sunday while I was waiting for my car tires to get replaced. You can't beat the price here for lunch, affordable. On our way home after work on a Friday, we needed to grab something quick from Costco. I thought it was a great idea to drop by at the Livermore location for the first time since it's on the way and less crowd compared to the new opening in Pleasanton. The Costco was located in a quiet business area which was great. That time the parking was not difficult. They had a membership scanner at the entrance. 4.2.25 Costco can be sloow... This is just for Lane 51 (manager returns lane). It's not the membership or returns line by door. Today's manager at Lane 51 was Christina. Nothing wrong per say but she doesn't appear to move with urgency. One other customer ahead of us and one behind us. Maybe it's coz Costco seems to be slow in general . One returns line .. one of each.. a plus that they added automated checkers tho. People folding clothes also do a nice job . Area tidy and they are fast ... I love this Costco but don't love the parking. I feel like no matter what time I come it's packed unless it's like 10-15 minutes until closing! The people who work there are very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of things for a great value - especially when things go on sale! The space is nice and big too to shop around and not feel crammed. We've regularly had issues with the chicken packs. They tend to not smell fresh when opening even before expiration date. We have also had a few issues with the ribs not smelling right when opening so we tend to avoid purchasing those from there. read more

8/20/23 Fuel stop & RR break from Frisco to back home. I love that Costco has me covered either way. While Hubby gassed up, I went in to "de-fuel hahaha! Quality/Quantity - Gas here is more expensive than the San Leandro Costco, but I know that I would not make it back today to SL in time to buy gas, so I came here instead. $4.80 a gallon for premium. The Costco was very busy, but, very organized. You had workers folding the clothes and replenishing items. The lines were long, but, they moved quickly. The cashier was nice. The food court was also very, very busy, but again, the lines moved fast. read more

So here I am again, in search for something specific and of course, I didn't call before I headed over as I figured, it'd be a treat to just visit another Costco. Well it's not your most conveniently located Costco. It's pretty inconvenient if you ask me. The parking lot is large but a little awkward. I had to meander through all the areas to look for what I wanted or more like searching. Unfortunately, I didn't find what I wanted, but it's always interesting to see what this particular Costco had, as well as what they had on markdowns. Otherwise, your typical Costco. I would probably go here if I lived closer. I did hear there's going to be a new Costco built in Pleasanton which would be a godsend. My Costco dividend was $800 this year which tells you how much money I spend here. I come to Costco Livermore once a week for gas and groceries. My typical pick ups are toilet paper , paper towels, beverages, vegetables and household goods. Most recently I purchased a patio swing and tires for my daughter's car. Livermore Costco is always busy and the parking lot is always full. This location will free up as soon as the the Pleasanton location is opened (under construction now). Same as all the Costco in California. This Costco in Livermore is super busy, and hard to get parking. But it offers a good selection with reasonable prices. I'm on my way back home and stopped by here for my quick grocery shopping because I don't think I can make it back home before the Costco closer to my home closes for the day. The store is vast like all the Costco. I pick up everything I want in less than 15 minutes. The checkout is speedy, and no hold-up at the exit. Parking lot sucks. Weekends here are a nightmare. Gas station wait is even worse. I literally went in circles for like 30-45 minutes just looking for parking, following people out, waiting for cars to leave. I love Costco. I love it as much as my trips to target. But this location is a hard pass. What a messy zoo. They didn't even have my eggs!! I thought we were past this stage. I was so excited to find the spicy variant of Irvin's salted egg salmon skin chips at Costco yesterday, and I knew that I had to get a bag. The first time I tried these chips was in Singapore, and they were bomb. Was at Costco in Livermore. Bought 3 of the kitties Litter plus some other stuff. Was walking to my car when one of the workers gathering carts ask if I needed help. I replied on for the kitties litter. He said no I do it all. He met me at my car and helped me put my stuff in my car. He was a great guy great personality just the best. His name was Lane. It's Super Bowl Sunday so needless to say, the store was packed with people getting last-minute snacks, Pizza, and just general Shopping. Despite it being super crowded, the employees were so friendly and welcoming. They managed the flow of traffic in and out of the store beautifully, and encouraged me to stick around and have some good food Court selections such as the $1.50 hotdog and soda, and my son had the chicken bake and a fruit smoothie. I also noticed they have a really good looking roast beef sandwich that I'll probably try in the future. This was such a relief after my experience in Clovis. It's the people that count the most. We LOVE Costco! It's referred to the happiest place on earth for a good reason!! This location is clean and organized. Clothes are mostly arranged size wise and usually well placed and folded. Carts have always been clean! This is a big one for me!! Lots of Organic & Keto options to select from! They also have plant powered products and some locally sourced items. Gas price here is very good! We always make it a point to come here to fill up our tanks! Gas station usually gets very busy and there's a long queue which can cause a traffic jam at the entrance. We avoid this queue by coming early morning around 8:30am or late evening during warehouse closing time. This location is usually not crowded and pretty well stocked. They're not too particular about you flashing your Costco membership card at the entrance. Customer service is courteous and helpful. Helpers are knowledgeable and willing to assist . read more

We have been Costco members for a very long time. We have always been happy with the merchandise. We came in on Saturday to look for a new TV. We had many questions as there are so many to choose from. Thankfully, we were greeted by a Costco associate Ashley, who was very knowledgeable, explained all the different models ,answered all of our many questions, took her time and really went above and beyond. Cheapest gas in town. I got a Costco membership for the gas prices! With that being said, unless you plan to fuel up during non-peak hours, there is always a 10-20 minute wait! If you're thinking about buying electronics here, I would definitely rethink that idea and go somewhere more reliable like Amazon or Best Buy. Costco claims to have a no hassle return policy, but when it comes to higher end items like a $399 Insta360 action camera. They turned me away and told me that these are excluded from their return policy, I kept the box in all the paperwork and every single item upon trying to return it. They told me that with higher and electronics. $399 camera that these are not part of their same return policy. I would like to see Costco fix this mistake. This Costco is one of the best around. The service is friendly and the place is kept well-stocked and clean. On the weekends, the parking lot is an absolute zoo. It literally can take 10 minutes to get in and out of the parking lot. The people who check your receipt on the way out are doing a particularly good job. They actually do count the items in your cart instead of doing the fake over-quick count theatrics. I appreciate this because the large box stores are suffering from massive thefts right now. I really like this Costco because the gas station is convenient and it seems relatively easy to find parking as it's not as congested as costcos in the South Bay. I usually fill up then find a spot right away. This location is a lot nicer and neater than Danville. They carry a good selection of ethnic foods especially Indian ingredients if you're into that. They have everything from refrigerated roti to family sized lentils to a good assortment of Asian foods. I also appreciate that the food court line goes by pretty quickly despite there being lines during popular days. Overall can't complain they carry a really good assortment of things and usually the sale items greet you as you walk in so you don't have to go walking mindlessly trying to find stuff. read more
