Not sure why there are so many low ratings in Yelp for this store. I do not come often but every timeI came the store was ok. This time I was looking for a hair curling tool and there were SO many of them: different styles, functions, prices, colors, lengths, etc. Service was quick and accurate. Wait at the long line on a weekend was moving quickly. Will come again if I have a particular item in mind I want to look for. Parking can be tough, with H Mart next door. You can park closer to Burger King and Half Priced Books that side of the parking lot. read more

I came to do some shopping here. Service was fine. Great selection. End up with a dress, pants, shirts, pair of shoes, and silk scarf. I had everything on hold as I was shopping around the plaza. I came back around 8:40pm and there was no line at the cashier which was nice. I was able to get the items I wanted. Service was fine. Bargain Hunting Day in Marshalls - Episode 1! My significant other loves a good bargain hunt, so off we went on a little Marshalls tour east of San Francisco. First stop: Castle Square Shopping Center in Danville. Now, full disclosure--I'm not the most patient shopper. I usually go in with a goal, grab what I need, and I'm out. I know I could save a few extra bucks by browsing longer, but that's just not me. That said, this Marshalls location impressed me. It was clean, well-organized, and definitely better stocked than some of the ones we've visited around San Francisco. The aisles weren't cluttered, and everything was easy to navigate--a huge plus in my book. She found a few items she was happy with, and I didn't feel like I was waiting around forever, which is saying something. Came in 30 minutes before closing while looking for Tiffany wine glasses. Unfortunately none in sight but managed to pickup two bags of coffee for a great price from interesting brands that I had never tried before (Bones coffee -Electric Unicorn) which turned out to be a fan favorite when I cold brewed it later. If you've been to Marshall's, you know it can get a little dirty/messy especially by closing but this store did a great job with keeping that under control. This is definitely one of the higher end Marshall's that I've been to and would come back to whenever work takes me through the area. read more

As far as a nice decent selection of discounted department stores, this place fits the bill. This takes me to "Marshalls" located at the Dublin Retail Center directly off of Dublin Blvd, close to the 580/680 freeways, and just a couple of blocks from the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. There are many other retailers here including Ross, DSW, Michaels, and Half Price Books which make it a great one-stop shop when purchasing discounted retail items. Parking can get filled up but the lot is so spacious to accommodate several vehicles, even during the most busiest times of the day. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 4/20/2024 at around 2:30pm and spent a good 45 minutes shopping here (as well as some of the other retailers). I am no stranger to Marshalls as I have been to many of their other stores as well as their sister stores, TJ Maxx & HomeGoods. The exterior boasts a dark grey drywall complete with the distinctive blue Marshalls lettering. The interior of this store is a very standard square shape complete with mens and womens apparel near the front while home, linens, and other miscellaneous items are near the rear. I do have to say that this store was fully stocked which was definitely an added bonus. There are also a respectable amount of fitting rooms as well as mens/womens restrooms available. What I particularly like about Marshalls is that they carry a lot of brand-name merchandise; brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Nautica, and INC as well as athletic apparel such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma. They also have a nice selection of socks, cologne, toiletries, and grooming items for men. During my visit, I purchased roughly $65 of items which got me (2) workout long-sleeved tees, a 10-pack of Adidas socks, khaki chino pants, a 3-pack of wooden cutting boards, and a travel bag. All in all, an above average shopping experience at the Dublin "Marshalls". My rating, four stars. read more

I absolutely LOVE this store...HOWEVER...whoever recently decided moving the "desk" at the ladies' dressing room would be a good idea, only made things ridiculously chaotic. The desk in the center, facing the customers was a perfect place, so we could form a seamless line. But now, there are so many people crowded around the new placement of the desk that it is absolutely chaotic. The dear wonderful dressing room clerk was so lovely, but because she is now circled with customers, making it difficult access with the influx of people in and out of the dressing room, which person was the clerk! This is in NO WAY the dear clerk's fault, but the person that clearly doesn't work the dressing rooms and had some genius idea that has fallen flat. Put the desk back where it was, put a chair so the clerk can sit higher than the crowds of people she is checking in. As for your dressing room clerks (not sure their exact title)...they have always been some of the hardest working, kindest, and nicest people. I go back to Marshalls in Dublin time and time again over the years, because I enjoy the experience. Yesterday, I was thrown off by the change at the dressing rooms. It's a 3.5 rating, but I just can't mark it 4.0 stars. It's my second fav in the area for discount designer stores behind TJ Maxx, and way better than the Ross next door over. From my MAN-POV (point of view), I found stuff. For this location, in particular, tons of clothes (I've lost major weight, no thanks to my yelping all these years), as well as kitchen & cooking items. After dinner in the area, we decided to do some shopping. We decided to check out the Marshall's located in the Dublin Retail Center shopping center next to a Michael's, DSW and Ross. Having shopped at other Marshall's, this store was large and with wider aisles. The store had a lot of inventory as the shelves and displays were well stocked. Workers maintained the store as displays were neat and orderly. I found a nice Spyder shirt and sheets at a very reasonable price. Checking out, the line was only two deep and the wait was short. Workers were friendly. This was a nice Marshall's store and I'll shop here again. read more

Torn between three and four stars. It's more of a three and a half star place. This place is cheap!! And not as ghetto and rundown as some of the other Marshall's locations that I've been to. I bought socks here for $4.99 and noticed them elsewhere for $7.99. Even with my 20% off coupon at the other place, they still would've been more expensive. Good thing I got them here! I've even done price comparison between them and Walmart, and they carry some of the same items as WM for cheaper. At lunchtime the lines are long but usually move quickly. Employees typically aren't willing to look up and see if they have things in the back: their blanket answer is that "we get in items everyday and immediately put them out, so if you don't see it on the floor then check back another day." The Christmas items have completely crowded out the section that I usually shop in which is frustrating, but when they do have what I'm looking for the prices on brand-name items are great! This Marshall's always seems to have a lot of stuff but seems not as organized as the one in Danville. Today was one of the first times I have been and it seemed as tho things were in better order. They had cute outfits grouped together and a ton of cute kiddo clothes. They actually have a good amount of small furniture for being a clothing store which is pretty cool! Lots of summer outdoor stuff such as cushions, decor, lights, games etc. sad they didn't have many summer outdoor plates tho. Visited the store yesterday. Did a return. No problem. Wanted to purchase 2 items. Cashier seemed to fall asleep in between these transactions. Managed to wake her back up by asking, "Is there anything else you need me to do?" She scanned my 2 items ($12.99 & $4.00) and gave me a total of almost $34. When I questioned this, she got annoyed. The $12.99 pants had 2 price tags attached, one on each side of the waistband. She motioned like HELLO, to which I said, "Um, you scanned them both. It's one pair of pants." The $4.00 pants had a red clearance tag. The cashier literally looked me up and down like she was trying to determine my character, then called a manager over. He immediately said, "This isn't the right tag," then he walked off to punch around in the system. When he came back, he seemed annoyed and said, "Yeah, that's right. They're $4.00." The cashier gave me a dirty look and rang them up. I said, "You can roll your beautiful bean footage back, if you'd like, and see that I wasn't out here swapping tags." He said, "You'd be surprised how much theft we see. I'm from Texas, and the Bay Area is known for it." Wow. Super rude. If I didn't love Marshalls so much, I would boycott them. Haven't visited Marshall until today and although I was expecting to find some items which they didn't have, I found lots of red tag prices of things I could use. At the check out I got everything organized within the limited space cashier #8 had available due to lots of items that were just seating there to go back. I brought my own bag to avoid collecting more and avoid the 'we don't have bags' notice I was given during my last attempt to shop there. When I got home I realized that several of the items that I bought weren't in the bag 4 out of 12 aren't there. I decided to call so they can hold them only to find out the telephone number listed on my receipt doesn't get you to anyone after you press option #4. Their outgoing message is always ' that's an invalid option'. Hell I can't drive back out there now, it's peak hour and I won't find my items tomorrow. It's horrible how their cashiers area has so many items to be place back on the shelves and not a clear area for the costumers to get their purchases NOT left behind from being placed into the bag by the cashiers. It's not fair it will be sold a second time. Dublin Marshall store its beginning to look a lot like the one in San Leandro it's a mess and so disorganized. Fitting room attendant today was very unfriendly. Older women. She had me stand there for a bit before acknowledging that I was even there. I said hi and she didn't return the greeting, just asked how many then placed the number tag down on the table for me to pick up. I've experienced this before and there are usually racial undertones. I am really bummed because I went to purchase a pair of Lucky Brand sandals and the price on the display read $29.00 but rang up as regular price. I told the the sales rep that the price listed on display should be honored. The sales rep called a manager over to explain and the Transgender person would not honor the price. Nothing against Trans , just didn't get their name. I was told that they forgot to take down the sign. How is that my fault??? Any other store would use the honor system. Went to return a shirt I purchased - they were so rude. I did not have the receipt with me and this guy (Kevin - Coordinator) kept repeating a few times that a receipt was required as if I did not understand English!!?? I am shocked by their customer service. Then there was this girl at the counter chewing gum and giving me a look as if I was some kind of trash. I just had a very unpleasant experience at this location. The elder lady at the register was very rude about a return I couldn't do. The return was the not the issue, I had my license stolen and it was needed for this return which is an understanding rule however, the way it was approached was very rude. I came up to the register and as I pulled out my items from the bag she abruptly said "No Store Credit! " because I didn't have a receipt. I responded "sure that's okay" then she asked for my ID and as I preceded to tell her I had a photo of it but not on hand she cut me off and said "No!" As if I was a child being yelled at by their parents. I was so embarrassed that she yelled at me in that manner that I grabbed my items and walked out. I am not one for confrontation. I understand the stress of working for a retail company but I don't think it's appropriate to take it out on customers. I will no longer be visiting this location. read more

Dublin's Marshalls has the cleanest store AND the best brand name clothing at affordable prices. Trust. I tried Emeryville's Marshalls and the place looked like it had been hit by a tornado. I honestly think TJ Maxx has a better selection, since Marshalls was lacking "cute" for my own personal tastes. I'm a fan of Marshalls because I love hunting for hidden treasures! I get a natural high off of it. Not all Marshalls carry the same merchandise. I've been frequenting this store for years now and I must say, I've found plenty of great items! Not just shoes, clothing, but also houseware, decorating items, children's gear, random stuff! What's even cooler about this Marshalls is that it's right next door to Ross and Michael's. Across the street, is Burlington Coat Factory (kinda crappy) and a Target! You'll find me spending my Thursday nights in this area of goodness! P.S. Marshall's in Danville/San Ramon is pretty good too. read more

Had a terrible experience as this Asian male worker screamed at us while we were waiting in line. A cashier called us over and due to his ignorance he did not hear that they called us over and he started screaming at us without knowing the situation. However he saw the long line and did nothing to help out yet he went out of his way to scream at us without reason. He never even apologized. Terrible experience. 5 stars for good selections and varieties in this store. Most likely if your looking for something fashionable to wear on a budget this place is on point. I like how you can buy your full outfit from head to toe here. Prices is good and selections is great. However, 1 star for the costumer service. They don't have good employees. I was surprised at how far this Marshalls has come. The most recent time I came, the selection of brand names just sky rocketed. From Calvin Klein to Columbia, I can now get all my clothing here and feel like it's quality. The cleanliness of the store has also improved. Perhaps it might have been the day I was there, but everything was in order. I didn't feel like I was stepping on things or finding items in the wrong spots. What's also really great about this Marshalls is that it's right next to a Ross. So I can always bounce between the two. I do have to say in terms of clothing, Marshalls does have the upper hand in terms of quality. Ross has great luggage selection. I would say they're both on par with purses. Overall I'm always glad this place is on my way home from work. It's a good place to blast off some steam. read more

Negative star for this Marshall's.Shopped around 12:51pm 02/13/21. I had an incident with a Caucasian grandma cashier named Luliana? ( or something close to that). I won't be shopping here until this lady is GONE. FIRED!!! They need to train rude employees to respect customers or just don't hire them in the first place.So it all started when I placed the items and she told me to bring the items closer to her just because she didn't want to reach her arm.what a lazy cashier!!!I had already put the items close enough to her, so why should I move them?Does she literally want me to shove it in her face?.I told her no,she can do it herself like isn't she going to scan them anyway?Then she literally started to throw my stuff all over the floor purposely.I asked her why is she throwing my stuff on the floor.She replied "I didn't throw them,there is no scratches".Where is the apology?where is the respect? I had to move to another register. She tried to play mind games with me and started talking to me in a lower tone acting innocent to piss the hell out of me.The manager was standing nearby and took me to the side and told me that she heard everything and what just happened.I ended up purchasing my items at another cash register and getting an apology from the manager.I hope the manager took her off the register and gave her some kind of discipline.
