As far as a nice decent selection of discounted department stores, this place fits the bill. This takes me to "Marshalls" located at the Dublin Retail Center directly off of Dublin Blvd, close to the 580/680 freeways, and just a couple of blocks from the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. There are many other retailers here including Ross, DSW, Michaels, and Half Price Books which make it a great one-stop shop when purchasing discounted retail items. Parking can get filled up but the lot is so spacious to accommodate several vehicles, even during the most busiest times of the day. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 4/20/2024 at around 2:30pm and spent a good 45 minutes shopping here (as well as some of the other retailers). I am no stranger to Marshalls as I have been to many of their other stores as well as their sister stores, TJ Maxx & HomeGoods. The exterior boasts a dark grey drywall complete with the distinctive blue Marshalls lettering. The interior of this store is a very standard square shape complete with mens and womens apparel near the front while home, linens, and other miscellaneous items are near the rear. I do have to say that this store was fully stocked which was definitely an added bonus. There are also a respectable amount of fitting rooms as well as mens/womens restrooms available. What I particularly like about Marshalls is that they carry a lot of brand-name merchandise; brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Nautica, and INC as well as athletic apparel such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma. They also have a nice selection of socks, cologne, toiletries, and grooming items for men. During my visit, I purchased roughly $65 of items which got me (2) workout long-sleeved tees, a 10-pack of Adidas socks, khaki chino pants, a 3-pack of wooden cutting boards, and a travel bag. All in all, an above average shopping experience at the Dublin "Marshalls". My rating, four stars.

After dinner in the area, we decided to do some shopping. We decided to check out the Marshall's located in the Dublin Retail Center shopping center next to a Michael's, DSW and Ross. Having shopped at other Marshall's, this store was large and with wider aisles. The store had a lot of inventory as the shelves and displays were well stocked. Workers maintained the store as displays were neat and orderly. I found a nice Spyder shirt and sheets at a very reasonable price. Checking out, the line was only two deep and the wait was short. Workers were friendly. This was a nice Marshall's store and I'll shop here again.

When I asked if there was more size selections, I was told I could order the dress free of charge. She also invited me to a Prom Fashion Show event happening 3/14/26 with a few prizes, refreshments(it turned out to be a very low budget event w/fruit water dispenser drinks & mini Hershey nugget chocolate), but I appreciate the attempt to revitalize the atmosphere at Macy's like it once was. While purusing on the 1st floor Jr.Dept. I found a Levi's shirt discounted to $35 & a cute Coke fleece shirt $14. Next to the Jr.Dept. was Macy's Starbucks & I really love the Lavender Latte & bought a Carmel Macchiato for my daughter. The price was about $3 more, totaling $15 vs.$12 at a Starbucks shop. The barista at Macy's said Starbucks charges Macy's more so that cost transfers over to the customer I assume for convenience. What made it disappointing was my order was so burnt, it left a horribly bad aftertaste in my mouth. So I guess it may be my 1st & last time getting it there.

Target Dublin: Wrong Info, Poor Treatment, Zero Follow-Up…read more I visited Target Dublin (Dublin, CA) on December 1st with my family, and the experience was handled poorly from start to finish. A Cyber Monday discount didn't apply to my items, so we asked for a manager. While we waited, a loss prevention employee involved himself in a pricing issue that had nothing to do with security, which immediately shifted the tone for no reason. When the manager arrived, she gave incorrect information, stating that Target in-store cannot honor Target.com Cyber Monday discounts. That was false - I read the fine print, placed a pickup order at another Target right after and received the correct discounted price without any issue. I went to Customer Service to return the items, and security watched me the entire time, despite the purchase having just taken place in front of them. As my family and I walked toward the exit, security positioned themselves near the doors as if they expected the alarms to go off. That kind of scrutiny isn't appropriate for any customer, and it was difficult not to connect the way we were treated to the fact that we were shopping while Black. After we left, I called Target Dublin multiple times to get the manager's name, and no one ever answers the phone. When I escalated the issue to Target Corporate, I was told the regional manager likely chose not to follow up, which says everything about the lack of accountability at this location. The cashier we worked with was kind, but the overall handling - the misinformation, the security behavior, and the lack of accountability - ensures we will not return. I'm sharing this review in hopes that Target leadership takes these concerns seriously and ensures other families don't have similar experiences. If Target truly wants to provide a safe, inclusive environment for all shoppers - especially Black families - meaningful change at this location is needed.

I needed some prints of images I had on my phone and I was stopped having lunch in Dublin nearby, so I figured I'd have my pictures printed while I have lunch. Basically, all you have to do is upload your images from either your computer or phone to the Walmart store location site, select the size you need. They even print stuff up to 8 x 10, but all I wanted were the standard 4 X 5 size. Those prints were just 16 cents each, that's a deal these days! Plus, the prints are ready to pick up in just 1 hour! I never used this service before so I was curious as to how well it would work out. I went into the store after lunch and wandered my way back to the photo and electronics section. There just happen to be an employee at the station. I've read other reviews, that had trouble even finding just someone there to help out. I guess I was lucky! They found my order and just handed them to me in a blue Walmart photo envelope. I love Homegoods/TJ…read moreMaxx/Marshalls and even have a TJX credit card, but my experience at this HomeGoods has been consistently negative and has made me not want to shop anywhere related to this company. The main issue with this HomeGoods is its horrendous lack of customer service. I myself work in retail, so I understand it can get overwhelming and customers can be frustrating at times. Even in my worst moments, however, I have not treated anyone as rudely as the staff (especially management) here treated me (and other customers, based on other reviews). I purchased a Staub baking pan here recently. When I put it in the oven for the first time to cook dinner the other night, I heard a bang after about 20 minutes and found that the baking pan had broken completely in half inside the oven! It caused a mess in my oven and the jagged edges of the baking pan were difficult to avoid as I attempted to remove it. I double-checked the packaging, and it claimed that it can handle up to 572 degrees F (I was baking at 350). So, I considered the product must have been defective or damaged at the time of purchase. Clearly it was not worth the money I paid for it. I put it in a bag and brought it to the store to show them what had happened to get a refund or exchange or something. The manager (Christine or something that started with a C) came over and immediately addressed me with disgust at having to see the pan. Obviously it isn't ideal to see a dirty pan, but I hadn't cleaned it due to the jagged edges that were exposed by its total fracture in my oven, and mostly I just wanted to show them that it had indeed broken. I don't know what they require for a refund so I figured I'd just bring it. Having the pan in that state wasn't ideal or appealing to me either but unfortunately the product they sold had not worked as advertised. She began saying she can't return it because it is a health code violation and it isn't in "sellable condition." Girl...no one is asking you to eat off of it or resell it. It split in half. As a defective item, it wasn't even in sellable condition when I bought it - I just didn't know it yet! Then she told us that they are not responsible for what happens to an item after it leaves the store. However, nothing happened TO it; something happened BECAUSE of it not being a good product! Additionally, the fact you have a return policy at all indicates you are, indeed, somewhat responsible for your products after they leave the store. If a customer bought a sweater and later found it had a hole in it, they'd accept it as a return even though it isn't in sellable condition; how is this different? She was looking at us with disgust and suspicion as if we're somehow scamming them by returning a defective product purchased genuinely less than a week ago. We literally had to ask her if she wanted us to clean it then bring it back (still broken?) in order to process the return, at which point she said they'd make an exception and give store credit. Fabulous, thank you! I don't expect anyone to drop to their knees or beg forgiveness, and I get that I'm just one customer out of many, but I was pretty shocked at the attitude and lack of humanity provided by this manager. Not for a moment did she seem curious about what happened, apologetic for her store selling a defective product that could have injured someone by cracking in a hot oven, or at all capable of reasonable human interaction. I know Staub is just a brand they sell, and they didn't make the pan, but they still sold it. Maybe it got damaged in transport or cracked somewhere along the line, or maybe it was sent to them defective, but she only seemed to think that we were disgusting for even bringing it in and asking for a refund of a $30 product. As a customer I have never felt so judged and almost detested! I cannot emphasize enough the nasty attitude with which she addressed us and her total resistance to anything constructive or polite in the most basic way. Again, in my darkest hours as a retail worker (and I have had plenty ) I have never looked at or spoken to a customer (even the most ridiculous ones, which I didn't believe I was being) in that way. I'm grateful we got the refund but the process was so absurdly dehumanizing considering the fact I was majorly inconvenienced by this defective pan and the fact that it seems totally reasonable to return a product that did not function as advertised. This has made me reconsider having a TJX card and shopping at these stores; and I will definitely never return to this HomeGoods. If you made it this far and get anything out of this review it is that you should save yourself by never crossing the threshold of this Dublin HomeGoods unless you enjoy horrible experiences. If you do, I wish you luck!
