After placing the order, I called the shop to confirm everything, and I was told the order was good to go. Nothing indicated that I had to pick up the flowers specifically within that selected time frame, nor did anyone explain that the shop would be closing before I could pick them up. When I arrived at the shop on Saturday to pick up my order, the business was closed. I received no phone call or message letting me know that my flowers needed to be picked up by a certain time, that the shop was closing early, or that my order was still waiting for pickup. Because I needed the flowers that day, I called another local florist. They were incredibly helpful and had a beautiful bouquet ready for me within an hour, the same day. Their customer service was wonderful, and the bouquet was actually less expensive than the one I had purchased from Fremont Flowers. I contacted Fremont Flowers afterward to ask for a refund since I had never received the flowers that day. I was told that I could not receive a refund. Since I was told there would be no refund, I went back the following day to pick up the bouquet. Unfortunately, when I finally received it, I was extremely disappointed. The bouquet consisted of essentially one small grouping of flowers with some greenery and, in my opinion, was nowhere near worth the $100+ I paid. I have photos of the bouquet from Fremont Flowers as well as the bouquet I purchased from another florist for less money. The difference in quality and value is significant. The lack of communication, customer service, and the quality of the final product left me very unsatisfied.
