Recently, ordered some flowers for a friend recovering from surgery. Bloomies Studio really caught my eye with the online flower arrangements and happy customer reviews. I chose a beautiful Designers Choice: Pink Lavender Romance with peonies, roses, dahlias as I saw romantic, cheery and thought of the recipient. I even upgraded (priced higher) as I loved the look so much! When the flowers were sent, I received a confirmation and a picture (big plus!) of the final product. My friend let me know they received the arrangement and sent me a pic...they were happy! Unfortunately, I was not as it was almost a completely different arrangement...yes I read the substitution policy but different flowers (lillies, chrysanthemum, carnation) AND colors gave it a completely different aesthetic and mood. I saw "deepest condolences" .... :( Why the 4 stars? After waiting a couple of days (to simmer) before speaking to the owner, Ai-Khanh we mutually came to a simple resolution. She was professional, respectful, listened and though we had different view points, she was empathetic to my dissatisfaction. Sure, I could've been rude and demanded a refund (per some friend which I dislike!) etc but that's not me. Afterall, they did send flowers and delivered on the day requested ...just didn't deliver on the vision I had in mind. We can all do better by communicating and listening. With that, I would order from Bloomies Studio again in the future but will either call or visit the studio before placing an order. read more

Total Rip-Off - Bloomies Studio Should Be Ashamed I paid a total of $272.99 (American Dollars) for the "Wild at Heart" bouquet in the medium sizing option - "Glow Up", expecting the lush, artfully arranged bouquet shown on their website (photo attached). I was EXCITED, because I was convinced that after spending money like that, my family was about to witness one of the best bouquets they would ever see in their lives. What my mother-in-law received looked like something I could have thrown together myself in a Trader Joe's parking lot. The bouquet was sparse, uninspired, and a far cry from the premium product they advertised. Absolutely unacceptable for the price I paid--and for the occasion it was meant to honour. This was supposed to be an extremely meaningful gift, and Bloomies Studio utterly ruined the moment. What they're doing is blatant false advertising, charging luxury prices for mediocre work. The description on the website for this boquet is as follows: "a flirty, free-spirited hand-tied bouquet bursting with the charm of a French country garden. Featuring blooms in a variety of colors, sizes, and heights, this bouquet celebrates the beauty of spontaneity and joy--just like a mother's love, it's wild, warm, and wonderfully unforgettable". Comparing the two pictures, I notice there is a ton of missing greenery, no baby's breath/other filler flowers, no height differences in the flowers at all. When I pay $209.00 for a bouquet (which by the way- is stated at $190.00 on the website) I am expecting artistry by someone who is experienced in creating a stunning bouquet. This frankly just looks like someone threw together some pink and purple flowers in 5 minutes and called it a day. I've attached comparison photos so you can see just how misleading their marketing is. Do yourself a favor--save your money, your time, and your emotions. There are honest florists out there. Bloomies Studio is not one of them. I love supporting small businesses as much as the next person, but this was a disgrace. read more

When I reached out to her for inquiries, she set up a time for a call so that she could figure out what it was that I was looking for. My initial call with Ai-Khanh was such a pleasure, and one thing that really stuck out almost immediately was how EASY she was to talk to! I had a loose vision for our florals--lots of citrus fruits, pops of bright colors everywhere, loose and playful arrangements--and Ai-Khanh was so enthusiastic to share ideas about how we could make this happen. Bloomies did an incredible job with our flower arrangements for our wedding! Ai-Khanh worked on our bride's bouquet, centerpieces, pergola, and petals down our aisle. We were on a budget and Ai-Khanh was very accommodating for costs. She put in extra thought and effort in making our wedding beautiful by coming up with repurposing arrangements, letting us borrow vases, as well as even giving us a complimentary boutonniere and bridal toss bouquet! I would highly recommend Bloomies, because they worked very hard on our arrangements. The owner (Ai-Khanh) and her team (Gwan and Kiku) are AMAZING! They are all so dedicated, kind and passionate about making our events amazing. Flowers are absolutely gorgeous and they are always ready to get creative and think beyond the vase. Gwan built custom clear balloon displays with fairy lights that looked light floating bubbles at our high-end gala. Kiku is artistic, thoughtful and so willing to work with any input and vision. She came early and stayed late, helping us install garlands, lights and flag bunting into a tent --- not all things that were specifically included in her time -- yet she did it all perfectly with a positive attitude. I basically paid $240 for a small vase of flowers. I recently moved to the area so I decided to try this place.... I've bought flowers from other places that have provided MORE flowers for $150. The price is absolutely RIDICULOUS for the small amount of flowers. I'm honestly very disappointed, especially since it was suppose to be a beautiful detail for my mother. This is a great spot to get your flowers! The staff is all super sweet and welcoming. They have an adorable dog that greets you as soon as you walk in. I ordered a Sunflower arrangement with other spring flowers mixed in that looked great. The owner told me she was not satisfied with the Sunflowers on my first arrangement and offered to discount it or give me a completely new arrangement. My fiance loved the first arrangement of flowers and was happy to see when I brought her a second arrangement about a week later. Both arrangements were completely different, but they were both beautiful. You have to appreciate the effort they put into trying to provide great customer service. I have to say that the experience I had today with Bloomies in Pleasanton was exceptional. I was served by Ai-khanh who went so far above and beyond what one would hope normal service could be that words cannot express how happy I am. Things started first thing in the morning when I called and asked if there was any way that I could get a floral arrangement by noon today, so same day request. Ai-khanh ask me a few questions and then very pleasantly said that this would not be a problem and of course I could have it by noon. I came by and picked it up and the floral arrangement was beautiful. I thanked her and went on my way. Luckily my destination was less than two blocks away. When I got there, I took the flowers out and set them on the bench so I could take a picture of this beautiful arrangement that she created. As I stepped away to take a picture, a gust of wind came up and knocked the flowers over and the vase they were in shattered. Without a second thought, I cleaned up the glass, picked up the flowers and went right back to Bloomies. Ai-khanh took the flowers from me and immediately redid the entire arrangement on the spot. She knew I was heading straight to the event where I was to give the flowers and she prioritized me over everything else she was doing. I ordered a wedding bouquet for a wedding. I will admit the order came in pretty late as they only had about 5 days to do it, but they agreed. As soon as we arrived for the scheduled pick up time, they told us extremely nonchalantly that they forgot about our order (laughed about it) and kept making excuses that wedding bouquets were complex. That's completely valid, but DON'T ACCEPT THE ORDER IF YOU CAN'T DO IT. Also they asked for 30 minutes to put together the bouquet, so clearly it wasn't the complexity of the bouquet that was the problem. On top of that, the lady working started blaming us for placing a late order and that it wasn't her fault (I'm assuming it was her responsibility to put it together). I understand these things take time, but they should've just turned us down at the initial order instead of blaming the CUSTOMER for placing the order in the first place. We ended up coming back 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up, and the lady who had argued with us was gone, and the others (who were there) acted like nothing happened. No sort of compensation or anything for our extreme inconvenience, made us run late to a wedding. Only giving 2 stars because the bouquet was beautiful and well-done. Called around to see where we could order a last minute corsage.....4 days before junior prom. Everyone I called could not accommodate which was understandable so I started to panic a bit. Found Bloomies and it was a great experience! We picked up the corsage mid morning the day of prom and it was unique, beautiful and picture perfect! My mother and I placed an order on 11/30/21 for 2 flower arrangements. We needed them for my fathers funeral service which was on 12/9/21. The flowers we're supposed to arrive the morning of the 9th. They weren't delivered till 3:45 p.m. when my family and I were supposed to be spending private time in the chapel till we opened doors to the public at 4 p.m. On top of that the heart arrangement we ordered was leaking the ENTIRE night, a vase had to be placed underneath so it wouldn't ruin the carpet of the mortuary and the flag arrangement we ordered was not on a stand like we had asked. Bloomies responded to my negative Yelp review and promptly replaced the original bouquet with the one I ordered and the flowers were fresh and beautiful. prior review: The bouquet delivered is not the one I ordered AND the flowers were tired and wilted. I was excited to brighten my elderly mother's home and her mood with an elegant, fresh flower bouquet (called First Snow) pictured on the website but instead she received wilted hydrangeas, pinecones, ribbons and plastic balls. A simple and sophisticated bouquet delivered to her door is my Christmas gift to her each year. It was sad for both of us when she told me about the wilted flowers and sent pictures of a bouquet that was obviously not something I would pick out for her. She sheepishly said "I know it's a splurge for you and I don't think I got what you paid for." And she was right. It was $79.95 plus tax and delivery = $104.23 and she lives a few blocks away.
