Jinger and Michaela did the most amazing job on our wedding florals, they truly made my dreams come true. The flowers were breathtaking, and they spent months collaborating with me on the vision and working with me on the moodboard. They brought their own creativity, and gave great recommendations on what linens would look great with what we wanted. At one point, they even sourced special pink table cloths that would work better with what we had imagined. I had a genuinely incredible experience working with The Flower House for my wedding. Due to extenuating circumstances, our previous floral arrangements fell through about 6 weeks before the big day. We reached out to The Flower House and they serendipitously happened to have that specific date still available amongst all of their bookings. They got us rolling immediately and were so efficient, understanding, and professional. I had collected vintage vases that I was hoping to still be able to use, and they accepted without any pushback. Their communication was excellent and after our first call, I knew that they truly understood my vision. That being said, nothing could have prepared me for how beautifully they executed it. My journey with Jinger and The Flower House started over a year ago when I was helping my daughter look for a florist for her wedding. I contacted several vendors, but Jinger was the first to respond. Our first meeting was via zoom, which I much prefer to a phone call because we were able to share pictures. Because the wedding was still over a year away at that time, we didn't have too many details, but Jinger was great with asking the right questions and giving us lots of options. With florals, you can certainly get carried away because you can never have too much. Instead of milking us with some of our elaborate ideas (like ceiling florals), she suggested better ways to use our budget. She even gave us tips on linens and other decor ideas. After that 1 meeting, we felt really educated and had a much better idea of what we wanted. I was beyond surprised when Jinger emailed us a quote that same day. She is by far the most efficient vendor we've worked with. Some of the other vendors responded back to us a few days or a week later, but by then we were sold on The Flower House. Every now and then my daughter or I would see some inspiration on Instagram or a magazine, and we'd ask Jinger for a quote. She or Michaela would get back to us usually within a day. As the guest list was finalized the month before the wedding, we realized we'd need 3 additional tables, which means more centerpieces and more napkin florals. I contacted Jinger, and she had a new quote for us within 24 hours no problem. On the day of the wedding, Jinger brings the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets to the bridal suite. They are beautifully packed, and each bouquet is labeled with the bridesmaid's name. She explains that we should remove the plastic to reveal the beautiful satin wrap. She then disappears to work on the rest of the venue. As we walked through the venue before the guests arrive, our jaws just dropped. Every bouquet was bigger and more beautiful than we imagined. For example, I had sent her a picture of just a couple flowers and some vines to decorate the bride & groom chairs, but what she gave us was a full, lush bouquet of flowers and greens somehow magically attached to the backs of their chairs. Words aren't enough, so just look at the pictures. I took home one of the large arrangements we used for the ceremony and repurposed for the sweetheart table. It was so big, I filled 4 large vases with them. They were in my house to admire for a week before they started to wilt. I can't say enough about how professional Jinger and Michaela are, how they didn't complain about our changes, how they answered our questions immediately, and how they made the wedding beautiful and memorable. I had a consultation with this business owner as well and it didn't go as I'd hoped. I felt she was arrogant and condescending and also made comments I did not appreciate. Her attitude is just not it. We are all people and we are spending a lot of our hard earned money on vendors in hopes that they bring our dream day together. Please follow your gut when choosing vendors. Choose someone that you will enjoy working with in addition to loving their work. I reached out to two other florists to gather quotes and they were both absolutely lovely and a pleasure to chat with. Maybe this business owner has a certain kind of client she likes to work with and I wasn't it. The florals/design aspect of our wedding was the part I was dreading the most because I am much more of a logistics gal. Early on I decided to really only decorate with florals, and I'm so glad I went that route. Our flowers were absolutely stunning and I couldn't be more happy with the way our whole venue was transformed with them. Florals are expensive yes, but I felt like we didn't waste any money on them and got a lot for the price. They were all so beautiful and added so much depth to our venue! When I had first talked with Jinger I showed her a photo of our ceremony location and she suggested a floral floor arch rather than a more traditional standing arch. I'm so happy I went with her recommendation, it couldn't be more stunning (and apparently is a 2023 trend we jumped on early!!). We hired The Flower House for our August 2022 wedding. We had 3 locations for our wedding day that were about 20-25 minutes between each of them (getting ready location, church ceremony, and reception venue). They delivered timely and accurately to each spot for the florals we ordered. The florals turned out so beautiful! Jinger and Michaela were so quick to respond when we had questions or changes to our order. When having my first meeting with Jinger, I told her I was going back and forth on what color scheme I wanted (lavender, light blues, peach, etc.), but that I LOVED the burgundy wine and blush combination but was uncertain with that color scheme for a late summer wedding. I kept hearing from others that it is more of a "fall" or "winter" color scheme. Jinger encouraged me to think about how the color schemes and florals make me feel - and to go with what I really envisioned for my wedding day! We had the BEST experience with Jinger and The Flower House. She was a preferred vendor for our venue, and after our first consultation over the phone, it was completely clear why - she is amazing!! For our first consultation we filled out a very detailed questionnaire about our vision and our likes and dislikes. She went through it with us and asked a lot of questions, making sure that she truly understood what was important to us and what we were going for with our florals. After that one conversation, we knew we had to go with her for our flowers! During our second conversation, I knew immediately that not only had she listened to us but she also understood me and my vision. I felt like I was a picky bride, but she didn't make me feel that way at all. She rolled with it and was honest with me about what was possible, what things would cost, and what would look best. I really appreciated that she would tell me straight up if something I mentioned wouldn't work or wouldn't look the best. She also made really amazing suggestions about rentals and draping, all of which I ended up using because she was dead on about what would look the best! I also really appreciated how responsive she was. I had a lot of questions and she was right there with the answers, even offering to set up Zoom calls with me to go through inspiration photos and swatches. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Jinger and Michaela were absolutely amazing to work with and over exceeded my expectations for our wedding. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly on the big day. We had several zoom calls with Jinger where she answered all of my questions (even ones not related to florals/decor). Unlike a lot of brides, I did not initially have a super clear vision of what I wanted for florals so Jinger took the time to walk me through lots of different options. I'm so glad she did because I ended up doing things that I had never even heard of (e.g. I did a flower ring for my flower girl which was absolutely darling and perfect for a toddler that wouldn't know how to throw flower petals). On our actual wedding day, Jinger and the Flower House team took care of everything without needing anything from me like true professionals. When I walked down the aisle, it was the first time I saw the floral arch and that alone nearly brought me to tears (aside from seeing my husband to be lol). My daughter and I just got off the phone with Jinger for our first consultation. We could not believe how rude and condescending she was! We have our own candle centerpieces we want to use and we only need several small arrangements to go inside the base. She said that's a "red flag" and refused to use them, said she only uses her pieces because her brand might be affected due to any social media photos. She rolled her eyes and actually shook her head while showing her what we had. By her attitude, it was clear we would never work with someone like that and told her this was clearly not the event for her, and she agreed. I found Jinger on Yelp and it's only appropriate for me to leave her a review because this woman is incredible! Finding a florist was a hard decision for me because I felt like every wedding I have attended looks the same when it comes to florals, but Jinger went above and beyond for me. From our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception - she nailed it! I didn't hire a coordinator the first few months of hiring Jinger because she did it all. I wasn't expecting my florist to be so hands on, but she is! She listened to what I had in mind for our reception tables and then looked over a few of my Pinterest board and immediately began working with me and a rental company to rent our silverware, linens, chargers, etc. She also isn't afraid to give you her opinion which saved us because we were hesitant about our ceremony layout and florals but by trusting Jinger's experience and opinion she made our ceremony far more beautiful than what we imagined. Jinger and her team are absolute professionals when it comes to anything and everything related to wedding florals! I got married a little over a month ago and I still keep getting comments on how beautiful the flower arrangements were! Not only did they look good, but they also smelled AMAZING too. I did an initial phone conversation with Jinger and from speaking with her, I could tell she understood (and even enhanced) my vision. I could tell I was in good hands. I had contacted multiple floral vendors for quotes and by far, Jinger was the most responsive and continued to be throughout the entire planning process. She came out to do a site visit with the moms and I met with her in person right before we secured in the floral order to go over the invoice throughly. She was able to pull up a ton of examples from her vast portfolio to gauge what I liked and didn't like and made notes on the invoice so that everything was in writing. I already had a realistic idea of how much my flowers (with the look I wanted) would cost in the Bay Area with a wedding of ~225 people, and I was pleased that Jinger was able to stick to that budget -- even if it may be a little bit of sticker shock at first. Jinger DEFINITELY delivered, all the centerpieces were amazing and much larger than I had imagined, and the color palette and blooms were even more beautiful than the Pinterest vision board I had sent her! We even had a last minute modification with our circle altar about an hour before the ceremony was supposed to start, and Jinger and her team went out of their way to make sure it got done and didn't hold up the ceremony. Flowers were beautiful but the florist was extremely rude. She had a bad attitude and made it known to everyone around her that she was unimpressed. She spoke bad about the decorations, she spoke bad to the photographers and even in front of guests! This review isn't in regard to Jinger's flower design, but her business practice as a whole. We signed a contract with a $500 deposit in the Spring of 2019, for our June 2020 wedding. We met with Jinger to discuss the look of the wedding and were provided with a quote. On March 19th, 2020 a member of Jinger's staff reached out to us to request 30% of the total of our quote which we were aware of. I responded and told the Flower House that we were unsure due to the original Shelter in Place for COVID what would be happening with the wedding. Jinger wrote back and said they were moving forward with our wedding regardless but if by chance our wedding was unable to take place on June 12th, 2020, they would be happy to move our wedding to a future date with no penalty. At this point, we assumed the Shelter in Place would only be the original two weeks and had our fingers crossed we would be able to move forward with our wedding. I offered to send over the 30% requested, but the Flower House finally decided they wouldn't be collecting the additional 30% until after the Shelter in Place was over. At this point, I wasn't pleased with Jinger's attitude via email but carried on. In early April I emailed Jinger and let her know our venue wasn't feeling confident about being able to host our wedding on 6/12/20, and that they would like us to look at some dates to postpone to. I asked Jinger if by chance we couldn't agree with the venue on a day to postpone and were forced to cancel would she be willing to give us our $500 deposit back, otherwise we would try and figure out a date and place to postpone to. I didn't cancel her services on this day as we didn't even know yet what was going to happen with our wedding, and we hadn't made any decisions about postponing etc. to be able to provide Jinger with a date/place. Jinger responded back the same day and again mentioned she would be happy to move our $500 reservation to a new date and location with no penalty. On 4/23/20 I emailed Jinger to let her know we had officially canceled our wedding with our original venue on 6/12/20 as they couldn't accommodate our wedding. Again, I never mentioned we were not planning to use her services. I told her we were deciding between two locations and once decided we would want to use the $500 towards some flowers because with all the craziness of COVID we would have to downsize the wedding if we could do anything at all. I received no response from The Flower House. About 7 days later I emailed Jinger again to let her know we had decided on the date and location for the postponement. We mentioned that we planned to use the money we had already paid her towards some flowers. She has no minimum listed for her services anywhere in her contracts etc. Again, no response from The Flower House. At the beginning of May, I checked in again with Jinger as I continued to receive no response from her. I finally received a cold and rude email back from Jinger letting us know that the Flower House now all of a sudden, had a $1,500 minimum for services, so we had to spend at least that to use the $500 we had already given her. None of her contracts, documents etc say this. She mentioned because we canceled our wedding (which we didn't) they removed us from their system and our $500 was now void. She reminded us that the money we gave her only applied to June 12th, even though at this point she had told us twice she would be happy to move the $500 to another date with no penalty due to COVID. I emailed her back the same day letting her know none of her documents show a minimum of $1,500 being needed and that although we finally had to "cancel" our actual wedding on 6/12/20 due to the venue not being open etc we never canceled the services we had planned with her; only that it took some time during all the craziness to provide her with a new date etc, trying to scramble to move a wedding during a pandemic is no easy task. Ultimately, she stopped responding to us via email and I had to request the money back from the credit card company, which was granted to us. All around I am disappointed in the tone of Jinger's emails, the lies and lack of response from The Flower House. On these points alone I would not recommend working with them. I know this was/is a stressful time for everyone, but this was very telling on how they run their business. I have noticed online I am not the only one who has had off-putting interaction with Jinger and I would keep this in mind when choosing vendors. read more

Had a dual experience with this florist. The work was beautiful but at what expense. If you don't mind rude service on the day of your wedding, I'd say go for it. But if you want the complete experience where your vendors are there to make your special day the best experience it can be then find someone else! Response to vendor: Your passive aggressive response is exactly what every bride wants to hear.. this was not my first rodeo. I've had two 'Quinceaneras' with over 160 guests at both and dealt with florist before as well. But never have dealt with such pride. You definitely think too highly of yourself. You are not the 'Queen Elizabeth ' of florists. Yes you do a good job, but exclusivity... since you want to belittle the decorations we brought ourselves, want to tell you we didn't bring in dollar tree stuff as you so much want people to believe. For any Bride I got them through Ling's Moments. They are not cheap! But they are not going to break the bank either!! We spent over $5000.00 on flowers (I believe you are way over priced!) this only included the ceremony arch, 10 center pieces, 8 bridesmaids bouquets and a bride bouquet. I've attached pictures of my daughters previous bouquets ($150) the bridal bouquet was $300!! I would've used my previous florist but my daughter didn't want issues because she was too far and preferred someone local. If you cannot be considerate of brides and their budget then you don't care about anyone than your profit. My daughter was just trying to save herself some $$. Had we gone with you, our expense would've been over $7000 versus over $5000! All we did was the isle pieces and garland. Soo... not understanding.. I think you need to bring down your pride and get a little humility under your belt. Believe me humility pays far more than your pridefulness.... Hope you change your attitude so other brides can have a better experience. read more

TL/DR - Would give 10 stars if I could! Jinger stood out to us amongst floral vendors from the first zoom consultation. During that first call it was evident she could command the conversation to get the 'inspiration and vision' out of us, and take it to levels our tech-worker brains could not. During the consultation she had plenty of pictures of past work that made it easy to see the high-quality she delivers AND helped her get to know what styles and likes we had. Other reviews have mentioned this, but she has a total gift for calling out "what we think we want" vs "what's even better". As we got closer to our May 2021 date, Jinger was always reachable by email if I wanted a second opinion on a decor item. She was on our side, wanting to make sure there was a cohesive look. Definitely not shy to tell us if something wouldn't work... but also ready to give alternative ideas. She's done so many weddings she truly is a great resource. Our wedding slightly bucked trend from the typical soft romantic vibe of most California weddings, as I'm from an island in the Caribbean and wanted a bright, tropical but not tacky look. I was rudely approached by Jinger while attending a wedding that she was hired to do the center pieces, and the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids. I was a guest at the wedding, but she seemed perfectly fine to approach a guest to rudely inform me that the bouquets had a plastic covering that should be removed to show the satin around the bouquets. She must be new to the industry since she did not inform the wedding party herself that the plastic had to be removed. She lacks professionalism and tact. She was rude to me as a guest at this wedding. If anyone who's hired to do a job at a wedding thinks it's okay to approach a guest in that matter, then she is not in this business for a love of weddings and if she did it once she'll do it again at anyone else's wedding. Jinger is a miracle worker. I absolutely HATE flowers. And cried when I had to get flowers for my wedding. But the centerpieces that were made for my wedding were absolute PERFECTION!!!!!!!! They are really what made my wedding elegant and everyone gasp when they walked in for the reception. Hand's down my wedding would not have been as lovely and special if it hadn't been for the flowers from The Flower House. It was exactly what I wanted. I will say the only thing is they are expensive. The charge just to pick up the vases was a tad ridiculous to me. Aside from the venue this ended up being a bigger expense than anticipated and set my budget over. But in the end I guess it was worth it. I am pleased that the flowers lasted almost 2 weeks after the wedding. My family took the centerpieces home and broke them down and made smaller bundles, which they absolutely enjoyed. My grandmother still uses the foliage and its a month after my wedding. The qualify of flowers is superb. I would definitely use them again. read more

Worked with Jinger for my October 2019 wedding. I was extremely disappointed with her final results.. The most disappointing piece that she provided was the floral arrangement for my ceremony. As you can see in the attached photos - she completely missed the mark.. We had ordered an asymmetrical broken arch - the "agreed upon design" photo was in my contract so there was no miscommunication regarding what I expected. I arrived to my wedding to find that she provided a weird uneven pillar thing (see photo attached). There was no advanced notice or warning that Jinger & her team could not provide the agreed upon design.. After the wedding, Jinger had emailed me stating that my wedding coordinator expressed disappointment on my behalf. She responded with the following: "I know our photo inspiration had greens going over the fireplace. I had lots of logistical issues. Originally the height was 8 feet and but when I arrived and began setting up it needed to move it up to 10 feet so it looked proportional. I could not get the arrangement against the wall so any greens that I added at the top flopped over and had to make the decision to fill in the two extra feet and make it look full." I wish that she had contacted me prior to the start of my wedding so that we could've worked together to fix the ssues or redesign however; she just set it up, left, and didn't say a word. For this individual piece, Jinger charged us $1299. Since we were so let down, we asked for our money back & she only gave us $600. Many wedding guests had negative feedback about the piece - reporting that it looked "awkward", "unfinished", and "ugly". Unfortunately it is in the background of almost all of my wedding photos.. Otherwise the small table centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets were nice. My bridal bouquet was not nearly as big, loose, and boho as the inspiration photos though - was almost the same size as the bridesmaids bouquets. Flowers on the cake were not worth $150.. read more

DREAM VENDOR!!!! I dont know what else to say about Jinger, other then she is a magician and made my wedding dreams come true. Not only did she take my vision and execute to perfection, but she was so kind and generous to support my thoughts. I was not easy early on to work with because I was so indecisive. I had a moment where I wanted to change the color scheme and she talked me through my vision and helped me understand what I wanted and how I wanted my guests to feel. Her help was what made me feel reassured in my decisions and there was not one single thing I would have changed. Not only are you vendors setting the mood/theme for your wedding and curating the experience but they spend time with YOU! You want to look back on you experience and have fond memories of the planning process - that is exactly what I got with Jinger and her team. When I saw her at the venue setting up, I began crying because I was just in awe over all the work she did, she gave me the biggest hug and made me feel so special. I adore you! read more

The Flower House produced the most gorgeous florals for our wedding day! We submitted some "inspo" photos and with their floral proposal, they provided photo examples of what everything would look like and an easy-to-read cost breakdown. They totally nailed our "floral vision", had all of the bouquets and boutonnieres labeled with names, and even moved ceremony florals to the sweetheart table seamlessly. They were easy to work with, communicate with and responsive. Also, every bouquet and floral arrangement they made were beyond gorgeous with amazing flowers and exactly what we pictured! I would definitely recommend them for any floral needs!! read more

Jinger and her team did a phenomenal job creating the florals for my wedding, I felt like I was in a fairytale the day of my wedding. I loved every arrangement they created and they captured my "moody" vibe so well! They are very organized, on time, and do everything to ensure they understand the vibe you are looking for prior to ordering. While flowers can be pricey, this was worth every penny. Leaving my venue, I was so upset I couldn't take every floral arrangement with me because they were absolutely gorgeous. Please hire them, you will not regret it! read more

Let me start this review by saying I know close to nothing about flowers. Because of this, I was a little nervous going in to our initial consultation with Jinger. I wasn't sure what to expect and what types of questions I would have to answer. Jinger immediately put me at ease as we discussed the style & vibe that I was envisioning for my wedding. Within 30 minutes I felt like she was reading my mind, as she showed us different pictures of flowers she has done in the past. Normally, I like to sleep on things before making a decision and look at a few different options but as I walked out of our consultation I knew I didn't need to talk to any other florists and Jinger was the one for us. During the planning process as questions and additions/changes came up Jinger and her team were always available and responsive. I couldn't have dreamt of more perfect flowers for our wedding day. Jinger and her team are AMAZING!! We used her for our wedding event and I am so glad we did! She took the time during our initial consult to figure out EXACTLY what I liked- which says a lot as I am a self declared non-flower expert. She listened to the vision I thought I wanted and was able to create something beautiful. Even when our venue changed due to covid to a backyard wedding, she stayed focused and worked with us to ensure that we got what we wanted. The flowers helped tie everything together!
