Then I found Lauren and she answered immediately. She said she could do my delivery this afternoon, and she did and the flowers were beautiful. It was a special personal occasion. I looked around at a lot of florists, and Lauren was the only one who communicated clearly and had awesome prices. We just needed 4 corsages and 4 boutonnieres for our event this past weekend, but she was able to take a small order like that and charged $10-$15 each. I told her she could do whatever she wanted for the design, since I saw her work online and I trusted her and did not ask for anything specific (I did let her know we would have sunflowers and wildflowers at the event). She was very clear in her emails, and even texted me a picture of the finished product the night before just to make sure they were ok. She works from her home so that's where we picked them up from (she just happened to live close to our event so it worked out, but I believe she delivers as well for a price). I planned my own wedding, which took place in April of this year, and one of the most difficult tasks was finding a reasonably priced & talented florist. I interviewed a number of florists whom I found on Yelp, and found that many of them overcharged for the most basic of arrangements, and added extra/hidden costs for floral vases & delivery. When I met Lauren, she was extremely accommodating and tried to understand my vision for my wedding. I gave her the same exact design & parameters for my floral arrangements as I did for the other florists I interviewed, and was shocked that the price tag was significantly lower, and within my budget. It was definitely an easy choice to go with Lauren as she was extremely reasonable, and found ways to cut costs for me. Lauren was also easy to communicate with, and followed through with all her promises. On the day of my wedding, I was thoroughly impressed by the huge floral arrangements at the ceremony site. We rented gold pedestals & vases for these arrangements, and in combination with the colors of Lauren's work, it definitely added a huge element of elegance to our wedding. I was also surprised by the fact that although Lauren charged reasonable prices, she does not skimp on the quality of the flowers! She also did a great job with all my centerpieces, and picking out the best roses to give to my cake decorator to use on my amazing cake. My mom and I hired Lauren to do centerpieces for my baby shower and she did a fabulous job! She was able to help us even though we hired her so last minute. She was able to combine a few different concepts and colors together in such a beautiful way. I showed her a few different ideas that I really liked via Pinterest and she came up with something much better than any of those examples. My mom and I were so happy and grateful for her artistry and service. She also added blue marbles at the bottom of each vase, which were her own. She attached ribbons that we gave her that said "It's a Boy" on each vase in addition to using the baby shower themed decorations that were on small sticks, which really made them perfect for the occasion. She delivered everything to the location and sent me a picture of her work prior to my entrance, which was really nice. Everyone complimented us on the beautiful centerpieces and we told our guests about Laurens Flower Deco. :) Overall, I would definitely recommend hiring her as your florist for your special occasion.
