Not sure why there are so low ratings in Yelp. I do not come often but every time the store was ok. This time I was looking for a hair curling tool and there were a lot of them! Great prices for value too. read more

I came to browse, didn't end up getting anything. There were some nice dresses, but I didn't end up buying any. The store is fine. There are some great journals at this store with reasonable price. Service is fine. read more

As far as a Ross store goes, this one was ok. The mens selection was a little lacking at this store, so I wasn't in here too long. Most Ross stores have a decent selection of men's slacks, but I only found one pair in my size and they were too short. Really not too much else to see in here for me. Located in a small shopping center on Dublin Boulevard. read more

The store was good to go. It was clean and organized for the most part. But they could have used more than one person in line at the register to make things go by faster read more

The music being played through the loudspeakers in the store was so loud that we had to leave. How can customers be expected to concentrate on shopping when loud dance music is blaring? This is not a freaking nightclub. I get the impression the employees like it this way for themselves. read more

This was my first visit to this store. While standing in line, I heard the cashier ask everyone to remove hangers if they were purchasing clothes. When it was my turn, she didn't greet me and simply asked if I needed a bag. The customer ahead of me, who was still at the counter, politely suggested that the cashier should work on her customer service skills. The cashier responded, "Well, she's the only one who complained." I told her that it was not okay to speak to customers that way and that she shouldn't ask customers to remove hangers. The cashier ignored me. Afterward, the customer ahead of me asked for the store manager. The cashier's poor customer service skills indicate she shouldn't be working here or anywhere else that requires customer interaction. I won't come here if this cashier is still working here. I bought a $30 gift card for a Christmas Gift on 12/19/25 from the Ross Dress for Less website (which says its headquarters is in Dublin, CA). As of 01/16/26 I have still not received it. I lodged a query on the Ross website. Some time later I got a response telling me how to purchase a card on their website (!). I replied that this did not address my concern. No answer. I lodged another complaint on the website and pasted in my confirmation number, screenshots of the emails and receipt of purchase. I have never received an answer. This is by far the worst customer experience I have never received. read more

I work close by and as a single mom it's really hard to find time to go Christmas shopping. I thought it was a good idea to go here during my lunch break. I zoom through the store and was lucky enough to find exactly what I was looking for only to see not enough registers open for the amount of people so I asked if I could leave my things for lay away. They directed me into the fitting room. When I got there. There was no one there. I called out for an attendant a couple times, and no one came another gentleman shopper That was there said he did the same thing before me and no one came. I went back to the front register and asked if I could just leave my things there because I did not have time to purchase them, and I couldn't be late Getting back to work, but I didn't want to Miss out on all of the things I found for my child. Sure enough. The lady at the register said "no said there was someone in the fitting room. Told me to go back to the fitting room." To go look again. I told her i just did that and I told her I didn't have time to go Back and forth again. All she did was say something on her little headset, and say there's someone there, as if she walked back there and saw that there was someone there when indeed there was no one in the fitting room. I just left a cart full of Christmas gifts and she just smiles. This location is sad to go to especially around Christmas time.. read more

I grew up going to this Ross location. I can't even count how many times I've been here. They do have multiple racks of clothing, I'd say they have more than the average Ross store. I always loved their home decor section and back then I used to get a lot of Betsey Johnson Jewelry from their display cases when I was a teen. read more

I've been a Ross shopper for years. I love the selection and the value fur your money that Ross stores offers. I shop the most at the one in Dublin, CA and I've always found the employees to be very friendly. However, there is one person whose mannerism prompted me to submit this review, and not in a favourable way. The person I am referring to is the fitting room clerk. She absolutely will NOT greet you, nor does she say a word. If you ask her a question, she's very rude. I've noticed, however, that her demeanour does a complete 180 whenever she's helping people of Indian descent. She herself appears to be of that culture and she's always very friendly to them, and rude or silent with others. Not acceptable!! There's enough stride and hatred in this world because of race/cultural backgrounds, without someone like her giving substandard service to anyone that's not her kind. I didn't see her name tag, but she's there right now (3:45 West coast time). The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because I do like shopping here. I would give this woman zero stars on her poor customer service skills. If she dislikes other cultures that much, maybe she should consider working in the stockroom. Id think that everyone should be treated equally and she's giving this store a very bad name. read more

There's only 2 cashier's while tons of people pushing carts and putting stuff away. One young girl stood at the register putting on a tag to some bed sheets for for over 15mins. Because that's how long I waited with 1 person in front of me to pay for 2 small things. There's 10 people behind me, we were prob only ones in the store. Really waste of time. read more

do not go there if you wish to get help with anything. I work in the area, but live 30 minutes away, and it was told I could not return there. I had to go return at the original location to which I found out was wrong, but I asked and confirmed at the location near my home. The two women that were working noon time on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at the register and the greeting area need to be reevaluated very closely again for I was not given any explanation. I was just told to go to the same location and try returning there. They were very unhelpful. do not go to the store and please get those two women out from that store or they are completely wrong. Do not believe them they give out false information. read more

This particular store has lots of furniture. Chairs and small side tables. I spotted some chairs that looked good and were comfortable but because I had my electric car I didn't buy them. I went back the next day with my SUV and it seemed as if everything was still there except the two chairs that I would have been happy with. Prices here are good and there is no big surprise that something sells within 24 hours.... but the customer service here is great. I spoke with a young lady about when new shipments come in and she even told me that they would have held the chairs for a short time for me to grab my SUV or truck. Very good customer service. Very good selection here and much cheaper than what you would get at Home Goods. Just today I paid a little more to get something similar at Home Goods but I think they might be a bit more sturdy but equally as comfortable. In conclusion places like Ross are all about fashion. Clothing and furniture might not last forever but it will last long enough until the next trend comes about. read more

The employees are friendly, hence the 4* rating. There aren't many dresses at this location. It doesn't seem like there is a lot of any category. I've found some really high end skincare here. That's was exciting. I haven't tried Marshall's next door yet. I'm curious to how it compares. I think everything in Pleasanton is expensive so everyone is looking for a deal. This Ross seemed picked over. Oh I forgot! I found new butterfly car seat covers for $11 for 2! Crazy deal. I think. They are almost $20 per seat cover at auto zone. The purple butterflies are adorable. read more

I am giving the 5 stars this store and its staff fully deserve. They do their job and they do it well. The policy of the store is quite minimalist compared to other Ross stores meaning less chaos but quite empty shelves for sure. I went early in the morning. The ample parking is a breeze , the changing room lady did her demanding job to the T. For those who find them rude , I witnessed people being rude, arrogant, overbearing, patronizing to her for the best of half an our whist my tweenager was trying groups of 8 garnements at a time. So yes, true she has not the biggest Disney Store smile on the planet but one kind world and she was there. Prices are really incredibly reasonable. The longest an item stays in store, the lower its price gets. read more

Always find neat items here! They have increased their options for decor and furniture pieces and they are awesome! Bring your tape measurer to make sure that the items fit into your car and in your home! I always stop in just to see what they have, and end up walking out with some treasures! There is a blonde hair lady that was at the fitting room that greeted everyone passing by, everyone except for me. Surely didn't make for a good customer experience! Good thing that doesn't stop me from getting some great items! read more

This Ross was pretty empty when I came but it was after the holidays so it's to be expected. I found some killer sweaters and shoes when I walked in so it was the best day ever. I ended up spending $20 and walked out with 4 awesome finds. People tend to ask me where I get my stuff from and there is no shame in my game when I say, " I got it at Ross" read more

Pros - You can't beat the price - It's in a parking lot with Marshalls which is similar shopping - You will see many different styles of items Cons - The checkout line is always slow - The shelves always seem empty like they are never restocking - The staff is not helpful - It always seems messy and dirty read more

The cashiers are slow as a turtle. They have seven registers with (2) people working, the lines are huge and the cashiers seem careless. The other employees are on the floor floating and chit chatting on their phones. This has been a horrible shopping experience with Ross. Please hire, or train you employees right. I have been waiting in this line for approximately 45 minutes now, just to purchase a gym bag. read more

Ross Dress for Less - Department Stores Near Me - Dublin, California

The employees of this store are very friendly and professional. The store looks much organized and cleaner than before. This is one of my favorite stores to visit in Dublin due to the friendly and professional environment, the products and their prices. Awesome place to shop. read more

As many a Ross, you win some, you lose some. But when you win, you can win big. I've gotten a lot of steals here but you have to be patient. Today it was more of a miss, but I did get to find a Swiss Gear duffel bag for only $18! Used to cost $50 so not too shabby. This Ross is a little better in terms of cleanliness and organization. Shoe selection was a bit low considering it's "Shoe month." Perhaps I came just before they're planning on restocking the shelves. Oh well. What's really great about this Ross is that just two stores down is the Marshalls. I love it....I got it at Ross. read more

Every Ross is different in terms of quality and stock and this one is just average. It can have pretty low stock at times.

First off, I wish I could give them zero stars. This is the second time I shopped at this Ross in Dublin where they have the worst cashier that has a nasty attitude and treats customers like they are thieves. Where is the customer service!? I'm extremly disgusted by the cashier's behavior and won't return to this store. The cashier did not wear a nametag but the associate's number is 885446. If you want to experience proper customer service and respect I absolutely do NOT reccomend this store location. read more

Rating reflects experience with the "manager". All time low in the 1st world shopping experience. 1 star is twice the deserved rating. 25 customers in line. 1 cashier doing her best. As I was having my time wasted I called the "manager". I spoke to a guy with a mouthful of food, declaring he was doing paperwork. No-joke! "Manager" made no effort to act and never came out to pick up the slack and help with the rush - 3:30pm Saturday. Assistant manager call was made by the 1 cashier. over the comm line. Time to re-hire someone with a sense of responsibility. Nothing against the norm of a discount clothing store's offerings. I found an item I needed today. Next time I'll purchase online. read more

Why is this Ross so much better than the one in Livermore? I came by here today with a friend and we were basically looking for cute, cheap and possibly clearance items. We found quite a few things to look at. One thing I like is that each department here has VAST selection; I enjoyed looking at their homegoods stuff since I'll be moving soon. It's nice to get an idea of what I need. Shoes are cute, purses are cheap and occasionally adorable. They carry A LOT of Betsey Johnson, which I like since Betsey is my main brand lol. Service was quick and friendly :-) I wish we had this Ross in Livermore. read more

I initially mis-remembered this place as the Marshall's right next door. How confusing is that? Nice thing about it, if you don't find what you want at one place just walk right next door. Good for a hit and run shopper like myself. Fortunately, for Ross I couldn't find what I wanted at Marshall's. Ross is also hit or miss when you want to shop for something very specific like I had in mind. Good for browsing for good deals I guess. Since I hate shopping, I don't often shop at either store because of the variability in stock. This particular Ross seemed a bit like a seedy thrift shop and I wasn't too impressed. I was looking for a nice pair of work shoes and almost left when I couldn't find what I wanted. Just as I was about to leave, I saw them. The perfect pair of shoes, right style and right size. And on sale. There is nothing quite like the feeling of scoring a good deal when you weren't expecting to. Even if you are non-shopper like I am. read more

1 register for returns, 1 register for check-out. Grey/Blonde older looking woman with an A-line bob was helping me. My grandma came and I grabbed my grandma's ID to show the lady to get the senior Tuesday discount. Then I used my card that I had just used my own transaction prior. She then asked, "Is that your card or her's (my grandma's)" Does it matter? Does the discount only apply if my grandma is paying for the items? She is present. Who are you? Does it affect you if I pay or my grandma pays? What if my grandma is Venmoing me. What if she is paying me back. Ridiculous and unecessary get the stick out of your butt read more

Low prices don't make up for the lack of service! I complained to the store manager that no one was at the registers and the one I found was assisting a jewelry purchase, who she rang upbefore all of us in line! Definitely not worth the grief... far better places to shop!! read more

I come here occasionally, there's is a Marshall's 2 doors down which I go often. If this store wasn't so poor in every way, I'd go here way more often. It's seems like almost every time I go, I end up regretting it- even if I buy stuff. Ironically, when you buy things here, when you actually spend money, you have your worst experience- - old, kinda dumpy store, depressing to say the least - mediocre inventory, sometimes hard to find something to buy even when you are in the mood to - never enough cashiers, you can have 10-15+ people in line, plus 3-4 people in the returns line - and 2 cashiers... then 3-4 other employees up front doing nothing to help process people through Ross Stores- you're not even trying here, you clearly don't care about your customers and their valuable time- its of no value to you. Just our money. read more

Arrgh. Why is it that every time I visit a Ross store, the first person I see is a loss prevention security guard? Also, why are Ross stores desolate and empty? Such a waste of space! I mean, aren't they working to get customers to buy from Ross!? read more

What they did was ILLEGAL! I Googled it when I got home. You know how you have an item without a price tag, so you grab the same item in a different size with the price tag to be helpful at the checkout. Yeah, well here's how it played out. Me: I want these shoes but it didn't have the tag, so I grabbed this one for you to scan Ross: Hmm, we have to charge you a higher price Me: Why? Ross: Because your shoes came in a different shipment Me: Wait, what? It's the same shoe Ross: (She looks at the bottom of the shoe), these came in a different shipment so we have to charge you this other price (Some random higher price). Me: I don't care what shipment it came in, I want the lower price. I also want to talk to the Manager. Ross: (Manager comes) Repeat above discussion... Me: (I point to my large pile of $120 worth of items that was rung up) Really? I have over $100 of merchandise here, I'm sure you can work this out, BTW, I got all day (as I look at the increasingly large line behind me). Ross: OK, give her the price on the tag. ILLEGAL - I wrote customer service and they NEVER responded. If I go again, I will video tape the conversation and slam them on YouTube and FB. I haven't been back since. I was a great spender in there. Go to TJMaxx or Marshalls. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. The selection here has always been good, and I've been able to find a number of great buys-especially on household items. Regarding the woman's comment below about it being illegal for different prices for what appears to be the same item. It's not. Ross prices its items based on the date it comes in, and then reduces the prices as time passes. I often see the same items marked at two prices, and it's due to different shipments. I can see how this is confusing to people who don't know better, but frankly it seems like you were the one with the attitude. Just sayin'. read more

Stopped in yesterday. I am a big Ross fan but this store is the emptiest, nastiest Ross store in the Bay. I walked in and I was totally amazing at the condition of this store. The workers can go next door to Marshall's. read more
