This place has been here since the grand opening of the Livermore outlets in November of 2012. It is strategically located within 2 other sports apparel show shops in this busy corridor of these open air outlets. They always seem to have 2 shirts for $30 deals going on . The check out line is usually rapid . During peak season and Christmas holiday shopping season times , there is a line to get in and they limit the amt of customers for their safety loss prevention and a better shopping experience for you . The store is clean and they have everything VANS. All the colors, jackets backpacks . The place is kept clean and tidy . Customer service here is sufficient never have any issues here . Also there are numerous beaches which you can try on the shoes first before deciding to buy them . VANS has stood the test of time for when there peak was the 80s and 90s but they keep going strong . As i was waiting in line the chino behind the counter was talking his life away to another customer for 15 mins. I was the only person in line, so I just left everything behind left. The particular experience I had at this store Friday 12/19 left a huge unsatisfactory impression in my spirit by the Caucasian male employee working that afternoon. I was shopping for vans for my two nieces for Christmas gifts who are pre teens and I was looking for help finding shoes in their favorite color. A young lady brunette hair was very sweet and she was helping me with grabbing pink and purple shoe options for me and checking sizes. While I was waiting in the middle of the store for her to come back to me this Caucasian male employee comes up to me and, not only does he Not ask to assist me with help, but he asks to take my shoes I was deciding on to the front counter to be placed. I was a little taken back because first he did not offer help to me but only wanted to take the shoes I was not even fully decided on to the front and away from me. While Im standing there waiting for the other young lady who was very sweet and kind to come back, I noticed all the other customers walking around with shoe boxes in their hands, some even this Caucasian guy was helping. I waited to see him ask to take their shoes to the front counter and never once did he ask them! Some people had two or three boxes of shoes while he was assisting them but he NEVER told them to take their items away while they were actively shopping! Why me??? Why as the only African American person in the entire store would he approach me??! It became clear to me what he did! He profiled me! I watched for over 10 mins him give good service to everyone else but me! This guy made my shopping experience uncomfortable! Even with the kind young lady assisting me I decided not to even spend my hard earned money at this store! Racial profiling someone who intentionally came in your store to spend money is unacceptable. More training should be done to make sure all customers feel respected and welcomed! I spent over a thousand dollars this day at stores that had real standards of service and ethics! I will never come back to any Vans store because of this employee and how he treated me this day! Probably one of the best stores at this outlet mall. Two pairs of real leather shoes for $60 is a steal. Great selection - both sale items and more current 'full' price available and in stock. Sale shoes are $40 and you can get a second pair for 1/2 off. Real leather - as opposed to the base model plastic at Nike. Some skateboards and clothes all very clean and organized. Good helpers and and overall pleasant shopping experience. Go ahead... go on a date night. You get a pair for $40 and your other half can get one 1/2 off. I am not usually fan of outlets but with this particular Vans store I may have to change that opinion. First off the customer service was spot on. Everybody from the person greeting us to the cashier were helpful and friendly. Secondly the staff kept the store in impeccable order. Everything was neatly tucked away and when something was looked at, the staff immediately made sure it was placed back in the correct spot. While with clothes its not a huge issue it is with shoes. Too many shoe stores devolve into a chaotic mess... not this one and it was easy to tack down shoes by size and style. Price wise they were fantastic and had a great selection. read more

AMAZING SKATEBOARDS! I know the skateboards may be expensive but their so worth their price! I got a penny board there in September of last year (2021) and it's still in perfect shape. The longboard could get dirty but their still in good shape. If your planning to use a skateboard I recommend getting a longboard for cruising and penny board for sharper turns. Thank me later! This was such a great shopping experience! All of the employees observed social distancing and mask-wearing. The store was also clean when I came in, with shirts neatly folded and the shoes clearly displayed with prices right in front. I was greeted by Trish as I entered the store, who quickly answered my questions regarding the products I was looking for. She informed me of all of the promotions without trying to upsell or pressure me at all! I felt very relaxed while working with her and she let me go explore the store with my friend who I was with. After finding a couple of Pro Model shoes I wanted to buy, I went up to the cashwrap area where John helped me out. John was a really awesome cashier who was friendly, courteous, and offered a lot of insight into the store and various products around it. This experience truly made my day, and the best part was the insane deals I got on my kicks! You can quickly tell that they love working for the company and are always willing to help. I will definitely be back for more shopping once i wear through my ever-growing collection of shoes. Thanks to everyone there. My vans came apart at the toe and I've barely worn them. I tried to exchange them at the outlet and the lady working there refused to exchange them. Like they would come out of her paycheck or something. You know dang well vans would give the store credit but this cheap person that claimed to be management told me no. I will never buy another pair of vans again they simply are not made like they used to be and the employees do not stand behind the product. They act like it would come out of their check if they give you warranty. Very dissatisfied and will never buy vans as long as I live. I would rather walk barefoot. Shop at this store first days since they open and move locations. Great customer service every time and always find good deals. I see complaint about some shoes are the same as the website. Honestly that is really not a bad thing. That's usually means the one you are buying is either the latest style or is their classic one that never go on sale. I usually know what I'm looking for before I walk in. It's an outlet store, that means they might have more random styles in the inventory. During covid, stores are in density control, therefore, maybe is 1 person doing 2 people's work. Just be consider of others, plan before I go. Save my time and save theirs. The staffs there are always very helpful and willing to help. At least that's how every time me and my boyfriend feels when we were there. read more

This store is located in the San Francisco Premium Outlets. However, it is NOT in San Francisco it is in Livermore. I had a good experience at this store. Nice employees. There weren't shoe boxes everywhere. I found the shoe I was looking for immediately. My daughter couldn't find her size, I asked an employee that was in the area. He promptly had someone find her size and brought it out within minutes. When we went to check out the line was long but we didn't wait very long because they had plenty of employees available at check out. Nice store with lots of selection. read more

My friend took me to this location to buy me a pair of Vans for my birthday. I've never owned a pair. I have a wide foot and I'm very picky when it comes to shoe shopping. The store was super huge and didn't know where to start. All of the employees were helpful, then Cecilia came around. I told her my scenario and she was more than helpful. She decided to go and pick out 4 types of vans that would be suited for wide feet. I was so worried I wasn't going to like any, until I tried on the last pair. I absolutely loved them. My friend and I stopped by yesterday on one of our many trips to the mall, so we stopped by vans because, who doesn't like shoes? The store itself is huge, and you really have no idea what you're going to find. The shelves are labeled mens, youth, girls, boys etc., but I think they're completely mixed up because some "Men's shoes" had sparkles and flowers on them, so if you're looking for anything in particular, you'll have to really read the box for the size (and price). I didn't find many shoes that were under $20 that were in my taste, but they do have some for $19.99, about as cheap as it gets. Overall I would say I'd rather save my money for Robert Wayne or some other shoe store. read more

Found a nice pair of shoes for my son here for under $30 and he really likes them :) The staff are all very young however and seemed a bit confused and not yet versed in good customer service ... they may want to invest in a manager on site or at least an employee that is out of their teens. We ALWAYS have a pleasant experience pre/post Covid. But today in particular has been the best. We always check the outlet store first because they always run great sales. We were given the pleasure to be helped by Ivan M., Steven G., And Stephan H. All three were SO SO nice and helpful. I walked out with the wrong size walked right back in for an exchange. this was the first time, i've been to a vans "outlet". bought the old school v's for my son and husband to match (men was $65, toddler was $35). i was just curious on how much vans actually cost so i went on vans.com to check the prices (my mistake was not checking BEFORE my purchase) . and it's exactly the same prices!! not even $1cheaper. what's the point of an "outlet"? the toddler shoes are not even in a full box, its open box (no lid), for the same price as vans.com. that's the stupidest thing ever. dont bother buying here. buy online and get an actual box for toddler shoes. i live in sf. and am not driving all the way back to livermore. btw, i have no idea why this outlet is called "san francisco premium outlets" when it's not sf hahaha read more

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I've never seen anyone treated worse by a corporation than at this Vans Outlet. I've seen both customers AND employees belittled and undermined in the few times I've been in this store. Whatever management is in place there is sorely mistaken if they think it's successful. Understaffed, abuse and harassment of staff, low availability for the huge influx of customers, and there is ZERO efficiency here. ZERO. I love Vans shoes but I detest this Outlet. read more

Absolutely one of the worst outlets i've been to but this store had me truly believing this was a huge mistake even visiting. I went to the Vans store to pick up a pair of shoes for the weekend. Some employees were decent but i went to the back area to check in the size 12 area. The store has a lot of misused and bad labels around. I caught one gentlemen working in the area and i asked him if i could find any size 12 shoes, he ignored me and i asked him a couple more times and was flat our rude to me. I caught his name tag and his name is "Gabe". The amount of decency and respect i had received from this employee was demeaning and unsatisfying. Thank you Vans for making me a loyal customer from previous stores, i truly don't want to wear vans or enter a vans store ever again. read more

I was just there yesterday and I, myself is an employee of Vans but not employed at this store but because I work for Vans I know how employees should be taken care of. By far, this store is the worst customer service I have ever had. I asked one associate if they can find 2 shoes in my size in the back, 5 mins later I notice the boy leaving the store. uhh where's my shoe?? So I'm standing by the door to the back and I counted 4 employees that walked right passed me while I have them eye contact. Now once I asked them to help, they assumed I was a certain size, which means they were looking for a customers size before? But it took them less than a minute to tell me they didn't have my size.
