5 stars all the way! One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. That old school customer service which seems to be far few and in-between. I was greeted upon entry. Escorted to the area which had my size. And followed up with later as I explored the store. The store is large. Many many many options. Not only do they sell boots, they sell clothing and accessories. BUT, unfortunately, the women's Large & wide boot sizes (11 + ) are minuscule. They stop at size 11(M) and there aren't many options in comparison to the other sizes. I was so disappointed and defeated. If you have a larger foot you will have to shop online. Service was top notch from the moment entered. It was my first time ever going into this store and mind you i pass by it all the time. Elizabeth approached & asked if I needed help. Unfortunately i had my eyes on 2 different pairs from the website that were not in store which she let me know would have to get ordered. They greeted me at the front door, I was immediately asked what I needed! And the smell of fresh leather! The store manager is absolutely service oriented and really professional. They had the Danner fire boots I was looking for and also a pair of slip ons for station wear! They looked like a fair price, also had awesome leather belts that were 1 3/4" and to 2 1/2". This store is awsome but the workers Denise & Ashley. Never met a person in my life tgats extremely rude. They were being extremely rude to my father whos also a grandpa and a man thats in his mid 60s hes very polite with everyone & the fact that Denise & Ashley were talking to him in a bad manner way doesn't sit well with me. No one should have right to talk someone in that way. after my father called to ask about the policy just so he can be well informed and all he got in returned was that they hung up in his face. While having never been to this store - I wasn't sure what to expect. My intention was very specific - to get my Fathers hat cleaned so I can wear it to a work event this upcoming weekend. He passed away this past December right before Christmas time. The Women (all of them) that were working on Labor Day welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door and asked how they could help me. Once I told them why I was there, they did not hesitate to guide me through options and timelines to not only get the hat cleaned, but they even offered to re shape it for me. Because of the Holiday, they weren't able to do it that day but that I could pick the hat up the following day. The main woman that helped me (name started with a "K"), was a pleasure to talk to, and Boot Barn should be thankful for not only her, but all of the Women that were working in the store that day. The customer service was above and beyond what I expected, and I will definitely return to this location for anything else that I might need for Western wear, apparel, hats, or boots!!! I also purchased a new belt and there were plenty of options for a great price. They really knocked my visit OUT OF THE PARK!!!! I am really impressed with Livermore Boot Barn. I've been shopping here for about 6-12 months and every time I've had a positive experience. Today I received a pair of boots in the mail and they were slightly scuffed. I brought them into the store and the manager Keith hand polished the boots himself. The boots look great now. They are finally open! I wish they opened this place few weeks back so I didn't have to drive to their other location. Anyway this store is just perfect. Upon entrance I was greeted by smiling faces. There were few young ladies ready to help customers find what they're looking for. I mostly like boot barn for their works boots and clothing but they have many different types for boots available. From work to western they got it all. They also carry many different types of high quality pants and jackets. Also fyi their jackets are priced lower than other stores in town. Anyway I highly recommend this store. It's fun to go in there even if you're not purchasing anything. The music playing there will make your day better. read more

I really appreciated the kindness and compassion of their employee named Alissa. I had an item I was planning on returning but then my family and I caught Covid and were in quarantine for an entire month which prevented me from being able to return the item in less than 30 days (which is the maximum amount of days to make any returns). I called up Boot Barn and spoke to Alissa and let her know my predicament and she was kind enough to say she would make an exception for me given my circumstances. Then when I came in person to actually make the return I was helped out by Alissa again and was so impressed by how kind and understanding she was. I really needed work boots so I came here because they have a wide selection to try on. I will definitely never go back. The teenagers at the desk did not know what the "C" or the "B" stood for inside the boots which is regular or wide. They were annoyed I had any questions and was repeatedly walking up to the empty counter to inquire. No one offered to help me with sizing. I decided on a pair only because I needed them ASAP as we are building a house. One of the boots was way more scuffed up then the other and I was told "that's all we have and that's the look anyways." After deciding not to ask anymore questions I was on my way with my boots in hand- not even in a box because they won't give you one. I was surprised to find there was no charge for stretching my old boot even though I didn't buy them there. The customer service from Jen, Esmeralda, and Jordynn was great. I have never written a review for Yelp, but this experience was so atrocious that I felt inclined to warn everyone of the bad business practices that this specific store uses. First off, Alissa was absolutely amazing with helping me find the boots I was looking for. She deserves 5/5 stars for her service, she was phenomenal. However this horrible visit began during the checkout process. I had a new lady for the checkout process (not Alissa) It was so poor that I wound up returning these brand new boots I had purchased. During checkout, I was asked for a phone number in order to be able to receive service for my boots if needed. I was then asked for my email, then my home address. I decided not to give my home address because why would I need to give that? She then continued and rang me up. After the purchase was processed and the receipt printed, she grabbed a red permanent sharpie, without asking, and marked the inside of my boots that I had already purchased at this point, saying it was to ensure I had a "right" and "left" boot. I left the store feeling dirty and called corporate to ask if this was normal and was told that they are not supposed to mark my shoes or ask for my home address for boot service. I went back and returned these boots and will never shop here again. read more
