I love this Boot Barn. The ladies that work here are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I've been shopping at this location for a while now. I am very happy with their customer service etiquette. The store is always stocked, and I know I'm gonna find what I need every time. Morita and Josie helped me out today. I called ahead of time to make sure they had Miranda Lambert's Idylwind perfume in stock. Josie was the nice lady that helped me over the phone, and set aside my perfume. She was so helpful. I could tell that she's passionate about helping us customers out. Morita rung me up at the register. I loved her personality. I went to the Boot Barn to see about a new pair of cowboy boots or to get my existing boot stretched to accommodate a swollen foot. I was surprised to find there was no charge for stretching my old boot even though I didn't buy them there. The customer service from Jen, Esmeralda, and Jordynn was great. Made me feel comfortable there. I appreciate their help and respect their knowledge of what and where they have products in the store. I will be back soon. read more

I have never written a review for Yelp, but this experience was so atrocious that I felt inclined to warn everyone of the bad business practices that this specific store uses. First off, Alissa was absolutely amazing with helping me find the boots I was looking for. She deserves 5/5 stars for her service, she was phenomenal. However this horrible visit began during the checkout process. I had a new lady for the checkout process (not Alissa) It was so poor that I wound up returning these brand new boots I had purchased. During checkout, I was asked for a phone number in order to be able to receive service for my boots if needed. I was then asked for my email, then my home address. I decided not to give my home address because why would I need to give that? She then continued and rang me up. After the purchase was processed and the receipt printed, she grabbed a red permanent sharpie, without asking, and marked the inside of my boots that I had already purchased at this point, saying it was to ensure I had a "right" and "left" boot. I left the store feeling dirty and called corporate to ask if this was normal and was told that they are not supposed to mark my shoes or ask for my home address for boot service. I went back and returned these boots and will never shop here again. read more

I believe they just opened this location, and it was my first time here. I wouldn't say the workers are approachable and super friendly but once I finally got someone to help me, they did answer all my questions and even offered to check stock at another location for me. read more

I was reluctant to go at 1st cuz of the reviews but I really didn't want to order boots without trying them on (The sizing/fit between brands is so different, how people order shoes let alone boots online is beyond me). Management must be paying attention to the negative reviews because I actually ended up receiving pretty good service. In the future I'll just go to another Boot barn. My boyfriend and I were there over the weekend and a couple employees must have asked us at least 200 times if we needed help with anything. Every 4 minutes or so they'd come over and say do you need help with anything and our answer would always be the same no we're ok thank you. Finally we finished our shopping and we went to pay, we purchased over $300 in merchandise and asked if we could keep the hanger to a pendelton shirt and the cashier replied no cause our store pays for them. I replied with well every other boot barn gives them to us if we purchase a pendelton shirt and she replied with well they shouldn't. Ok moving on she said did anyone help you guys today and I said yes we were asked if we needed help an unnecessary amount of times, all she said was ok but did anyone specifically help with anything....ugghhh ok point missed. We get home only to realize she had left a security pin on one of the jackets we had purchased. Normally my experience at the boot barn in Tracy or Modesto is great, but I was very disappointed with my experience at this store and most likely won't be returning. read more

Really disappointed in my experience! First time ever to a boot barn was looking for cute ariat boots to ride in and I was helped by Cassie. I was having a size issue and long story short the 7 was way to tight and 7 1/2 my heel slipped out of but she convinced me it was better to have room then it to be tight . Well I wore them around the house got 4 different types socks and even purchased those from boot barn and no luck . I work 6 days out of the week and it's hard to get there . Called in and walked in and let them know my purchase is 10 days past the 30 day but there online faq says 60 day return. They all were very nice and told me to come in that they would acknowledge the return. Waited additional days for the store manager to be there then the day I come in she didn't show for 2 days straight. I was helped by Alexis Cassie and another girl at first was nice and willing to help with a exchange that abruptly decided to come up with, well its past 30 days , we'll there looks to be wear on them and no one would buy them as they sell nice boots here ? I was like okay and I got these nice boots here the insoles has no sign of wear and they didn't care , there was one small mark that was there when I bought them as all their boots have marks. None of there boots are in boxes there all on the shelf . Looks ladies I get y'all worry about ur job but u do not lead a customer on for 4 days telling them to come in they will acknowledge the return even when i informed them multiple times it was 10 days past the 30 days then when I come see u it's a excuse after excuse as to why u can't help me. You all acted like you didn't just see me and talk to me the day before. I showed them the boots they have out on their racks and showed them 6 pairs that looked more worn then mine; they didn't give a shit. I was then offered well we can't do anything with them but if u want 10% off ur next purchase and we would have to keep the boots ur trying to return we can do that . I was like your joking right ? Ur telling me u can't do shit with these boots but ur gona keep them anyways ???? And only give 10% off ? These are $170 boots. I told them how about u give me 80 toward my next pair and sell them for minimum 120 to give them $40 additional profit on top of my next purchase. Nope these girls are clueless to the retail business industry and customer service. I would know as I worked for wellsfargo and that's the top of the chain in customer service. Also Cassie thanks for lying and telling me u were a manager before when I called in to ask if the manager was there yet . Then when I see u in person your all the sudden not a manager ? Will never shop boots there again and don't try to ask these girls about good riding boots obviously none of them ride and can't give good advice . Spent 700 that visit and was so let down. Never even got the chance to speak or see the actual store manager. read more
