It was definitely frustrating, but Abraham took my concerns seriously from the beginning. He personally reached out, apologized, offered to restring my racquet free of charge, and even provided a gift card for the inconvenience. What impressed me the most was that he didn't just fix my racquet--he worked to improve the process. When I picked it up today, I noticed they now attach a label showing the string type, tension, date, and stringer. That tells me they're focused on preventing mistakes in the future, not just fixing one complaint. Every business can make mistakes, but not every manager takes ownership the way Abraham did. His professionalism, communication, and commitment to improving the customer experience earned my trust back. Thank you, Abraham, and the Sports Basement team. Unfortunately, the gift is no longer wanted and I tried to return it while offering a restocking fee. They are very strict on the policy and won't do return. They would buy back at half price. So I ended up selling it back for half price, by just getting the shoes out of store and then going back there. Just want to warn future customers, try to steer away from this shop.
