L. Rose Jjolpokki (6.50), R. Tokyo Noodle (1)

Foodle Asian Market opened recently in the vacated space where Wild Birds Unlimited once was. Store inside has rows of shelves loaded with merch. Side has frozen & refrigerated goods. While majority of goods are Chinese (Taiwan, Hongkong, China), some are from Japan, Korea.. The most prized items are behind the counter or nearby: dried abalone/scallops/meats, ginseng... Boba drinks, jasmine rice, labubu acrylics, noodles, condiments, sauces, juices, snacks, cookies, frozen shellfish, Chinese medicines, candies, oils, & many everyday necessities are the majority of goods sold. I was looking for something i didn't find in the typical Asian grocery store. Buys: Rose Jjolpokki (chewy noodle & Korean Rice Cake) 2 servings: 6.50 (Wang Korea) -usually eat the Chinese version of rice cake (nian go). Korean version is spicier/pricier ($10-20) in eateries. Trying a few before ordering in eatery. -had a few generic packaged version. This is lst name brand. Tokyo Noodle (4 pieces/$1) Japan -curious how it would taste. Discovered later descriptions all in Japanese. Will look at pics to cook. Was acknowledged by single cashier on duty when I entered. Browsed a little, skip drinks, products that had too much sugar. Forgot to look at Chinese medicine section. Quick, courteous checkout. Business slow on weekdays.

Lots of selection and prices were not as high as I expected. Quick stop if you cannot drop by a larger supermarket. Plenty of parking. Very helpful staff.

Small Asian food mart selling mainly dried goods from China with a small refrigerated section. Many of the items here can be found at Asian grocery or even Costco but to be fair I didn't compare prices. Some shelves are still waiting to be stocked. Walked in, browsed for 2-3 min and was not greeted.

The store is clean and cute. people are very nice. They have many snacks and cantonese soup packets. We particularly went for the garlic peanuts. They were promoting the 麻花. we loved all flavors and bought one packet each flavor only realizing the expiration date is only two days away after we got home. Always read the expiration date!!!

Notice this store the other day and had a chance to browse around. It's basically an Indian grocery store but for Asians. While I'm not too familiar with most or some of their products, it's like a small ranch 99 so they have alittle everything minus meats or veggies. Their prices are within range of their big box competitors and as a slight bonus for those who shop for herbs they do have a selection of dry herbs for eating or medicinal. A decent amount of snacks from the looks of it too and when I was asking to see if they carried a sukiyaki broth, the cashier was pretty friendly and helped me look around for it and sadly they didn't. But, I did find that they sold an extra hot/spicy curry sauce which I've never seen at ranch 99. So look forward to trying it out soon and I hope to stop by a tad more often to see what stuff they are selling.

Very full stock of herbals, candies, snacks, etc

I noticed there is a new store and now they are finally open! Many things they are selling are snacks and drinks, herbal and dry foods, and some special items I used before I came to the US. They have free gift for every purchase, good place to have a look and buy something interesting! Definitely will come back again!!!

Beware for a new market they sell expired products! Also had them hold something for me and when I went to pick it up they sold it. Really disappointed.

This location has well-stocked shelves, helpful and friendly staff, and a large variety of food and non-food items alike. It's also consistently organized and clean--including the restroom! There's usually plenty of parking in the lot. It's in a very convenient spot off the freeway; I'll often stop here on my way home after getting gas right across the street. In general, Grocery Outlet doesn't serve as a comprehensive grocery store like Safeway or Lucky. It has a mix of local, name-brand, and generic store brand (Simply GO) products ranging from snacks, packaged foods, and alcohol, to non-food essentials, like body care and kitchen utensils, at a discounted price. Their offers don't last long, especially if it's a really good deal (like the $3 pistachio milk or 99c/lb apples I grabbed the other day), so I recommend checking their app for what's on sale each week or just frequently popping in! If you're curious, here are my typical GO staples: - Simply GO old fashioned oats - 5lb bags of Fuji apples - Pints of ice cream - Lean ground beef - Eggs

The store is large and organized. I bought a large carton of watermelon juice in the fridge because it looked good. I drank it as soon as I stepped outside. It tasted old and expired. I looked at the expiration date and it expired over 30 days ago. Does this stores usually sell expired food? Is that even legal? I threw it in the trash right away. I'm Norbert coming back to this place.

For crispy skin roasted pig , San Rita road location is the best . I bought my $14.99 combo box today . It is a large rectangular box and you can fill in with items of your choice . It is $14.99 . If you buy just one meat item and a medium size paper box is already $12 The self served deli section has fried rice , stir fry egg noodle and hor fun ( rice fiat noodle ) . Many different types of cooked vegetables ( Napa , broccoli, zucchini, egg plants , etc ) and meats ( chicken , beef , fish , shrimp , beef brisket ) tofu , etc . They all taste great and you can stack up a lot more of you put the smaller pieces in the bottom . I bring my own extra containers. After I paid the cashier I put all the salt & pepper fish filet into my own container to keep it dry and fluffy. The batter they use are very tasty and light. It has so much room I have enough food to last me two meals . For the $14.99 combo you must put in some rice and vegetables. Cannot be all meats . That is not hard to arrange . I have includes photos and the prices list for the deli section . They get the first batch of food around 11:00 and then refill once around 2 pm . During the holidays , you can order grilled turkey marinaded in BBQ flavor . It is delicious and we order it often .

And they've gotten a lot more pricey. Like some of the buns, fresh or frozen has gone up $2-3. Same with their fresh meat, poultry, and seafood. Selection is not as great and their prices have gone up. The store isn't as organized like before. Also, the smell of dried fish always hits you as soon as you walk in. And still there's the lack of customer service. I'll probably be back only if I'm in need of a particular item, but that's about it.
