    My Beautiful Piano Lamp

    We came to Lamps Plus because our past experience there was positive so we wanted to give it another opportunity, this time needing to replace all our ceiling fans throughout the house, and all the outdated light fixtures in our bathrooms. We did not want to go to Home Depot or other big box stores because we didn't want the hassle of looking through shelves ourselves and wondering which ones were best for our needs. With the expertise and great service from Mary Sakhizada, Lighting Consultant at Lamps Plus, she was able to provide us with the information we needed, to make the best choices. We were able to leave with 5 ceiling fans and light fixture for one bathroom - only 1 one had to be ordered because it was not in stock. We even got a new lamp for our piano! The "cherry on top" so to speak lol Thank you Mary & Leslie who also assisted with taking care of our needs. Our home is all the more beautiful now.

    I always find the nicest lights here. They helped me find a bright light for a tiny space that was too dark. I dislike leds but even these leds I got are a beautiful amber that go bright or dim. I love my lamp I got! Thank you

From the moment you walk in, they're always friendly, welcoming, and ready to listen. They don't rush you, don't talk over you, and never make you feel like you should already know everything about paint (because most of us don't). Instead, they ask thoughtful questions about the project, the space, the lighting, and even how the room will be used -- details that make a huge difference in the final result. What really sets Linda and Eli apart is their advice and support. I've come in with vague ideas like, "I want something warm but not yellow" or "I need white, but not hospital white", and somehow they translate that into the perfect recommendation. They'll pull multiple samples, explain undertones, compare finishes, and even warn you about colors that might look great on a swatch but won't behave the same way once they're on the wall.     I've always loved Benjamin Moore in Dublin, but after being treated rudely by Elaine, the "color…read moreconsultant" who insisted that all the paints she showed me are warm whites and "whites don't have undertones" - I realized she is not a color consultant. She is fast talking, curt, annoyed when you ask questions she can't answer, and was quick to pull out a color and say, "Use this one" without ever asking any pertinent questions. Really, it matters if you have a southern facing room or a northern facing room...paint represents differently in different rooms. She clearly knew none of this and was annoyed that I asked the RGB of their Swiss Coffee..she continued to insist that whites don't have undertones. When she finally asked the man at the front desk for the RGB, she rolled her eyes and threw her hand up like she was in disbelief I would ask that question. In reality, any color consultant should know that RGB is the red, green, and blue that is used to make a color, and helps to decipher a paint's undertones. Honestly, if she didn't know I wouldn't have cared, but she was hostile and curt, and seemed like someone in a rush; someone I would expect to be on commission in a shopping mall. I did call the manager and he was very apologetic and professional. However, I've decided not to go back, as there are many paint stores in the Bay Area where color consultants are welcoming, engaging, and don't act hostile toward the customers.

    I'm a happy customer!!! I met Ed through a referral from a good friend...needed to have an outlet…read moreinstalled. And since he was coming we also needed to have a light fixture installed...he did both...in less than an hour. He was pleasant, professional and just a nice guy! He was prompt and great communication! It's nice to have nice people provide services these days...thanks Ed!

    Eduard was great! I was having an issue with our master bedroom's circuit breaker constantly…read moretripping, so needed to troubleshoot. Since I don't play with plumbing or electric, I knew it was a job for a professional. I solicited several quotes and went w/Skyline based on a competitive price and the fact they got back to me right away after I reached back out (I had reached out a month or so prior when I first noticed the issue; it went away so I let it go but then a few weeks ago decided enough was enough and got back on it when it was tripping regularly again). Skyline was able to see me almost right away first thing in the morning (scheduled for 9a but he was early), I think the next day after I called. Great communication too, via text, letting me know when he was close and when he arrived. After explaining the issue, Eduard went right to work and did all his checks. After maybe a half hour he explained he fixed the wiring behind the main light switch, as it came loose once he removed the faceplate. He said it was possible that was the issue; we'll see if it continues but so far so good. He also explained what it would cost to fix the breaker itself; and that the price would stay the same if/when we ever need him to come back out. I also appreciate he sends a digital invoice which you can pay via credit card really easily after the job is completed. Tremendously fast and friendly service at a fair price. Can't beat that. Highly recommend.
