I recently had the pleasure of visiting a LAMPS PLUS in Dublin and was blown away by the exceptional service I received from Mahdee Jabar. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome and was immediately struck by the stunning selection of lamps on display. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to ask about my preferences and needs in order to help me find the perfect lamp for my home. They patiently answered all of my questions and provided me with helpful recommendations, making the entire experience feel personalized and stress-free. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail that the staff put into every aspect of their service. They carefully wrapped my lamp in protective packaging to ensure it wouldn't get damaged during transport and even helped me carry it out to my car. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at this lamp shop. The exceptional service and high-quality products have made me a loyal customer, and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of a beautiful and functional lamp for their home. I recently purchased a chandelier from the Dublin CA Lamps Plus store. The lighting specialist Catherine was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. There was a mixup with the fixture after it had been installed by our electricians. Believing it was the wrong fixture, I contacted the store. The manager Tina could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Installers from Lamps Plus came with the "correct" fixture right on time only to discover that we had the correct one from the start. The electricians had failed to install the bottom piece. The mistake was entirely ours and yet everyone involved could not have been more understanding and professional. Above and beyond great customer service!!! We…read morehave purchased many appliances from Airport Home Appliance, going back 2015 --a time when the older gentleman operated the stores on the other side of the street. During January 2026, I purchased a new LG dishwasher from Homewise Appliance (formerly Airport). About a week ago, our dishwasher motor began making a high-pitched sound and in three to four days stopped working. We called them immediately sharing our concerns that this is happening within the warranty period. I have elderly people at home for whom I care, and this is a major inconvenience for us. Erik, my sales manager had provided a very good sales experience and spoke very highly of LG. Homewise Appliance also sold me an additional service plan at an "additional cost." I was specifically told that purchasing this service would get us immediate attention from technicians who worked closely with Homewise Appliance, instead of our having to rely on a home-warranty company or find our own appliance-repair technician. I was also told that if the appliance could not be repaired, it would be replaced. I verified these assurances multiple times and paid extra because home-warranty companies do not generally show any urgency. I have now called Homewise Appliance several times, but no one seems concerned about resolving the problem. I am now being told that Homewise has no control over the repair company and I need to deal with LG myself. If that is true, why was I sold any additional service plan besides the basic warranty at all? The truth is that many independent appliance-repair companies in the Pleasanton area will respond within 24 to 48 hours. There is no reason for customers to pay Homewise Appliance for an additional service plan if the company cannot provide the prompt and reliable assistance promised during the sale. A good sales experience with a family-owned business means very little if the company disappears when the customer actually needs the service for which they paid. I expect Homewise Appliance to arrange an immediate inspection of my dishwasher and honor the terms and representations under which this additional service was sold to me. Instead, I am now faced with having to deal with LG directly, without any support from Homewise, while Erik is away on vacation.

I can't say enough good things about Linda and Eli at the Benjamin Moore paint store in Dublin…read more Every single visit feels less like a transaction and more like catching up with trusted experts who genuinely care about helping you get things right. From the moment you walk in, they're always friendly, welcoming, and ready to listen. They don't rush you, don't talk over you, and never make you feel like you should already know everything about paint (because most of us don't). Instead, they ask thoughtful questions about the project, the space, the lighting, and even how the room will be used -- details that make a huge difference in the final result. What really sets Linda and Eli apart is their advice and support. I've come in with vague ideas like, "I want something warm but not yellow" or "I need white, but not hospital white", and somehow they translate that into the perfect recommendation. They'll pull multiple samples, explain undertones, compare finishes, and even warn you about colors that might look great on a swatch but won't behave the same way once they're on the wall. They also excel in situations where a paint store rep truly proves their value: When you're repainting a room and need to match an old color that's faded over time When you're stuck between finishes and need to know what will actually hold up to kids, pets, or heavy traffic When a contractor is waiting and you need the right product fast, without costly mistakes When lighting changes everything and you need guidance on how colors look in natural vs. artificial light When you realize mid-project that something isn't working and you need a smart, calm solution, not guesswork Linda and Eli handle all of that with patience and confidence. They explain why a product works, not just what to buy. That level of knowledge builds trust, and it shows they truly stand behind what they recommend. It's rare to find people who combine deep expertise with kindness and approachability, but they do it effortlessly. Because of them, painting projects feel less stressful and more enjoyable -- and the results always turn out better than expected. If you're looking for a paint store where the staff genuinely wants you to succeed, this is it. Linda and Eli are the reason I'll keep coming back, and the reason I recommend the Benjamin Moore Dublin store to anyone who wants great results without the guesswork. Highly recommend -- every time.

I've always loved Benjamin Moore in Dublin, but after being treated rudely by Elaine, the "color…read moreconsultant" who insisted that all the paints she showed me are warm whites and "whites don't have undertones" - I realized she is not a color consultant. She is fast talking, curt, annoyed when you ask questions she can't answer, and was quick to pull out a color and say, "Use this one" without ever asking any pertinent questions. Really, it matters if you have a southern facing room or a northern facing room...paint represents differently in different rooms. She clearly knew none of this and was annoyed that I asked the RGB of their Swiss Coffee..she continued to insist that whites don't have undertones. When she finally asked the man at the front desk for the RGB, she rolled her eyes and threw her hand up like she was in disbelief I would ask that question. In reality, any color consultant should know that RGB is the red, green, and blue that is used to make a color, and helps to decipher a paint's undertones. Honestly, if she didn't know I wouldn't have cared, but she was hostile and curt, and seemed like someone in a rush; someone I would expect to be on commission in a shopping mall. I did call the manager and he was very apologetic and professional. However, I've decided not to go back, as there are many paint stores in the Bay Area where color consultants are welcoming, engaging, and don't act hostile toward the customers.
