When seeing any Lamps Plus from the street, I've always that they are energy-wasting jerks as they light up the sky with hundred of light fixures, maybe thousands. I also thought they were overpriced, at least, compared to Home Depot or Lowe's. However, they probably have an amazing selection. Well, the day finally came where I found myself inside of this location. Who knew they also sell (some) beautiful other things? Mirrors, tables, chairs, art, rugs, etc. Some are very unique items, and reasonably priced. While I still think they are jerks for using all that electricity, it is a nice experience to find a light fixture or lamp, and they have my respect for other house decor merchandise. read more

Would not recommend. I purchased pendant lights from Lamps Plus, had them professionally installed by an electrician, and turns out all of the sockets are crooked. Super cheap poor quality. (This is not a review on reflection of the staff) Paid $129 per pendant light. Options to remedy: 1. $12 discount for each light OR 2. Return and they will ship out new ones (so on top of what I paid to install it, it would cost me an electrician's labor to remove the defective ones and then re-install the replacement) What a joke! If you do buy, and are having it professionally installed, make sure you check the product thoroughly. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've shopped here for years for remodeling, new construction or recommending to clients. Lots of inventory and displays to help find and envision your options for lighting needs. They have beautiful replacement variations for lamp shades as well. I worked with Catherine during a recent visit, she knew the inventory and found a beautiful classic, yet modern rechargeable brass candlestick lamp that can set on the dining table or for use in other places needing a light without requiring an electrical outlet. I ordered 2 different finishes to try out, they arrived quickly and I returned the one I didn't want. She was helpful to explain the best 3 way bulb for the purpose I wanted. I selected 3 lamp shades to try on 2 different lamps and chose 2 that were absolutely gorgeous and perfect.
