Not impressed at all I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the repeated issues I have experienced with Ashley Furniture regarding my recent orders and customer service interactions. This is now the third time I have placed an order with your company, and unfortunately, every order has involved significant problems. My most recent experience has been especially frustrating due to poor communication, inconsistent information from representatives, and a lack of follow-through regarding delivery and service arrangements. On multiple occasions, representatives have contacted me and advised one course of action, only for something entirely different to occur. I was informed that payment was required for a particular service, yet after payment was made, there was no proper follow-up or coordination. Additionally, no one contacted me to reschedule or provide updates regarding the status of my order and service appointment. As a customer, I expect accurate information, professional communication, and reliable service. Instead, I have repeatedly encountered confusion, delays, and a lack of accountability. Having experienced issues with all three of my orders, I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided. I am requesting that Ashley Furniture review my account and order history, investigate these recurring issues, and provide a prompt resolution. I would also appreciate a detailed explanation regarding why these service failures continue to occur and what steps will be taken to prevent similar problems in the future. Garbage company garbage products, I'd rather give a 0 rate if I could. Their installers found a product defect when installing the bed. The foot stand of the bed could not be inserted and fixed, but they used a very low-level method and used a few screws to make up for it. I didn't find this stupid problem until I moved two years later, but they thought it was out of warranty and refused to return or exchange it. I advise everyone to never buy anything from such a conscienceless company. They promised to get back to me with a solution, but nothing happened. It's terrible. read more

We purchased a floor-length mirror at the Dublin store, but it was not in stock so had to be delivered. It was a week late with no notification from the store until we called to ask where it was. The mirror was cracked when it was delivered (see picture). We called to inform them. They said someone would come out to look at it for refund purposes. A week went by - nobody came and nobody called. We called and emailed customer service a week ago requesting a refund and that the damaged mirror be picked up. They promised to follow up. No follow-up, no refund yet. Needless to say, we will never buy anything again from this joke of a business. The complete absence of customer service and follow-up is appalling. This place is terrible. They only care about making money, sales person Usharani was extremely pushy, we bought a sectional spent over 4K all for the couches to come unwrapped, they looked used. Delivery people told me they had to deliver and the issue would be resolved with the store, that was far from the truth. After several phone calls nothing was ever resolved, I had to go into the store in order to talk to the manger "Steve" he stated he would replace some of the pieces then never did, completely ignored any calls after didn't have the courtesy to let me know he had changed his mind, cowardly of him. IF you are not happy with the product DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DELIVER have the drivers take it back ! Something salesperson should of told us. We also bought the $650 5year warranty that works for nothing because they still didn't use that to replace the damaged item. Overall customer service is terrible and unprofessional. Do not shop at Ashley Home store. I will not be returning as a customer. What a rip off!! They sent faulty furniture to me and when it did not fit, I asked for it to be replaced. Instead they modified the drawer to fit and now it moves back and forth and it is rubbing. I told them I wanted a replacement and instead they came out and fixed it a second time. This is not what I expected as a paying customer. When I asked to return the purchase their response was, "All Sales are Final, go check the small print". Thanks for NOTHING Ashley. Came here looking for a couch that I saw online for the Presidents' Day sale. David offered to help me (he was the first after I wondered around for 10 mins and had 3 other employees stare at me but not ask if I needed help) David was very friendly but I felt he was also pushy. 1st off he said the day I was there Monday 2/10 was the last day of the Presidents' Day sale so I had to buy that day if I wanted to get the sale price (president's day isn't for another week on 2/17) so telling me the sale ended a week before the holiday seemed like a lie, sure enough online today 2/13 it shows it's still going on. David then told me for the delivery price they would deliver into any room in the house, come to find out that also wasn't true and they don't deliver into bedrooms. While they might have decent products and good prices just prepare yourself before purchasing that you might be lied to and pushed into a sale. read more

Having mix feelings right now; I do understand deliveries are backed up, and not much control there. We finally received (end of January) our las shipment from our November order. But we received a defective piece. One of chairs from our dinning table is not properly leveled one leg is shorted than the other. The defect is so obvious; I do not understand how was this chair even sent out for delivery. I want to think we put trust in the business, where customers receive good quality, working furniture. We went ahead and contacted our sales parson and we were told a technician will come and check it out. My family and I need a good working chair (Expected quality of purchase) I do not need a bandage for the issue. My expectation is to receive a replacement. Went to several furniture businesses in the bay area and was very impressed with Ashley furniture in Dublin! Our sales guy Joe was very professional, and explained a few things regarding our purchase of a new bed, mattress, headboard, nightstands, and dresser and last were two beautiful barstools for the kitchen. The manager that day, his name is Steve also was very knowledgeable and explaining different mattresses and explain the discount we were getting because we bought so much that day. We just moved and really wanted our new bedroom furniture delivered as soon as possible and they said the following week that it would be delivered but the barstools might take two weeks. that day delivery was on time. The two gentlemen worked hard, setting everything up, and also had the two barstools delivered the same day. I was quite pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend checking out the Dublin store read more

Everything looked good in the store till the delivery time and we saw the defects on the products delivered. The amount of flaws that came with Ashley's service and items was extremely overwhelming and upsetting. It was a really bad experience and I don't wish anyone to go through what we did. Here are some stuff that went down: - Our dining table was scratched. - ALL of the dining chairs, except for one, were wobbly. It looks like the chair legs are uneven. - They forgot to include a mirror in our bedroom set. - The delivery crew kept on asking us how to assemble the furniture cause it didn't come with any instructions!!! (How the heck should WE know??? You manufactured the furniture.) - When the delivery crew was trying to assemble our bed frame, they accidentally put in a wrong size of screw into one of the wooden boards (likely due to the lack of instructions!), so the screw went through it, and so they had to take apart the parts they'd already assembled and take them away. And we had to reschedule another painful delivery. - When the delivery crew left, they left a HUGE MESS in our house. Lose screws were lying around on the bedroom carpet! We reported these issues to the delivery crew and haven't heard back from Ashley yet. Oh man... it was hellish. For that reason I had to lower my Yelp review to one star. I wish Ashley pays more attention to their service and make all the necessary improvements. read more

Well finally we found a couch that will work for my dad. After visiting a few stores and more websites than I can count we stopped into Ashley Furniture now "home store" in Dublin. All the furniture there is gorgeous, although I must admit that it doesn't look like the quality is there. None of it seems like it will stand the test of time. Good for now though. My job bought tons of Ashley Furniture and it falls apart fairly fast depending on usage. It is what they sell at Big Lots... I would have preferred to shop around the store on my own, But when we entered we spoke to a salesperson and she stuck to us like glue, even after I told her a number of times I would find her if we needed her. Like going to a car lot 2.5 stars... We almost left, almost. My husband found a couch. We decided to buy it on Friday it was delivered on Monday! For that 5 stars! read more

Service and internal business processes are horrible at best and scamming customers at worst. Bought a table and six chairs. Table and chairs delivered by third-party. Table was damaged. Third-party informs me best to accept table as replacement will happen sooner if I do or it can take a month or more. As they are leaving, Ashley service calls and says best to have them take it away as a replacement could be sent 4 days later - and directs third-party delivery to take away the table that same day (which they came back and did two hours later). After numerous phone calls over numerous days later to Ashley, and repeating to numerous people that I do not have the table as Ashley instructed the third-party deliverers to immediately pick up in support of exchange, they ask me for pictures of the damage for a table that they have in their possession (remember - they (Ashley) directed it to be picked it up same day). I asked to speak to management three times and have yet to have anyone call back. I have been informed that they have all been in meetings. So what do you all think? Inadequate processes or am I being scammed out of cost of table? It is my understanding that the third-party delivery only gets paid if complete delivery occurs. Such a process does not serve the customer and will actually undermine customer service. The sales people were great though - very friendly and seemed to give a damn. The reason why I said "maybe" as far as recommendation is that when I picked up my own purchase previously, and service and third-party delivery were not involved, it was an amazing experience. I will update if this was an isolated snafu at best or scam at worst on Ashley's part. Regardless, it is not professional to subject customer to outcomes and conflicts due to lack of robust business processes. read more

When we wanted to walk out from being disrespected she then ran after us and then acknowledged my existence. She kept asking if we would call her. The store is nice and so are the employees, hoever , we had the worst delivery experience ever. I asked for an hour call ahead, they Did not give us a 30 - 45 minute window which was the "minimum" time frame we were going to get (according to the customer service person) , they called us 15 minutes prior to our delivery , came before our 9am - 1pm delivery window, gave us attitude because our other furniture wasn't out of the way yet , left trash in our living room and front lawn, did not wear booties in the house , and threw their gloves and instruction manual in front of our curb. DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH ASHLEY - UNRELIABLE and POOR COMMUNICATION We recently moved and were excited to furnish our new home with items from Ashley Furniture. We placed our order with Matthew at Ashely Furniture in Dublin, CA and our "payment went through successfully". We even received multiple confirmations regarding our delivery date and time. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, the day of the delivery arrived, and we waited patiently for our new furniture. The delivery window came and went, but no one showed up. After hours or waiting, we decided to call Ashley Furniture to inquire about the status of our delivery. To our shock and frustration, we were informed that our entire order had been cancelled an hour ago from our call (way passed the delivery window) due to a "billing address issue" even though, our bank had already confirmed the transaction. What's even more upsetting is that no one from Ashely Furniture bothered to notify us about this problem. WE HAD TO CALL THEM to find out that the furniture wasn't coming. THEY COMPLETELY DROPPED THE BALL ON COMMUNICATION. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. We expected much higher level of professionalism and customer service from a company like Ashley Furniture. We trusted them with our purchase, and they FAILED TO DELIVER - not just the furniture, but the basic courtesy of keeping their customers informed. We won't be shopping here (or at any Ashley store) and wouldn't recommend it to others. read more
