Purchased a bedroom furniture set in Mother's Day and was told it would be delivered on 6/8 (they checked and said everything was in stock) On 6/1 I called and confirmed the delivery date with Customer Service. On 6/5 I received a text confirming my delivery date of 6/8. On 6/7 I received a text confirming my delivery date and time on 6/8. Three hours later they called to tell me the items are all back ordered and wanted to set a new delivery date w/o knowing if the furniture would be back in the warehouse by then. I contacted Customer Service who was argumentative and told me to drive to the store (1.5 hours away) to work it out with the salesman. read more

This past Friday, October 1st, 2021 we visited the Ashley Store located on Dublin Boulevard in the city of Dublin. The manager Chris and his staff went above and beyond to help us find a sofa that we absolutely loved and that they had in stock ready to be delivered within the next week. The ease and breeze of the customer service that we experienced with Chris the manager and his teammates made our visit to the Ashley store a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be going there again to shop for more needed furniture. Business is always about the people and Chris and his team absolutely made us feel that our business and repeated business in the future is appreciated. I noticed the ladder leading to upper bed doesn't provide a safe opening for a child to enter. Additionally, ladder is not ergonomic due to miniscule space on tread to rest foot. Upon complaining customer care, Ashley noted that this safety issue has not been brought up by that many customers. They also noted that, I filed complaint on 4th day. Ashley has a 3 day policy, and can't take any returns. read more

Well the store just opened amd I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. It's quite a large store, divided into different themes. For example the Millennials go to the "Urbanology" section. Naturally when I walked in, that's where they sent me. Old folks will probably be steered to a more classic section which is called "Vintage Casual." I asked the nice salesman to explain, since that term meant nothing to me. The associate told me this was for people in the 40's and 50's. I asked the nice man to clarify: "You mean people in their 40's and 50's?" "No." The 1940s and 50s." More than anything else, I really appreciated the professional layout of the various themes. It's fun going here just to check out the wonderful artistry that went into producing the store. Somebody spent a LOT of time making the furnishings for each theme work. It's like going to a Theme Park, but without the rides. Plus, there's no admission. Well I didn't buy anything this time but but I'll be returning with my wife to check out the Urbanology section. There are plenty of sales associates around. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Special shout-out to Kyle. He was a really a friendly sales associate who answered a lot of my questions. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! Your order will be MONTHS delayed, their delivery crew will do a half ass job with the installation. They will not add all nuts and bolts needed so after a few times of getting on your bed, your bed/furniture will fall apart. And when you call to complain, you'll go through MONTHS of the run around and end up with furniture never fully installed properly and missing parts until you MacGyver it together yourself. I've called the Dublin store Regional to have this issue resolved and all he did was have a bag of nuts sent to me and no bolts of screws, complete and utter failure from Ashley. Yet they're quick to want the $9k I spent. Please, you're better off going to CostCo for qualify furniture and installation or JC Penny or Macy's. I can't speak to the quality of the products because I didn't end up buying anything from here but we walked in looking for a dining table and the man at the front was super helpful and escorted us around showing us options and helped answer questions on sizes and materials. I liked two of the options however they were too big for my space so I opted not to purchase but I do appreciate the level of effort that went into ushering us around and sticking by our side. I didn't feel pressure to buy or anything which was appreciated. The show room is huge! There looks to be something for everyone. I only stayed mainly in the table section. read more

Customer service is horrible, they do not acknowledge you when you walk in or at least and proceed to follow me around the store trying to sell. I went to look for a mattress but they have the prices hidden so I guess they don't want people to buy. Placed an order in October and was given the heads up that it would take 8-10 weeks for the couch we wanted. Projected date was Dec 1st from our totally "trustworthy" sales rep. Knowing this we still went forward with the full transaction and have been eagerly waiting for our couch. Fast forward to the 30th of Dec and we have been in twice. We have received part of our couch $ back as it had dropped in price and we removed the insurance we originally purchased. Each time we have went in there have been 8-10 sales representatives standing and waiting to show you products but the instance you say, "In need help with an order," they scatter like roaches. They then Direct you to a very sweet customer rep lady who takes the grunt of the customers and I'm sure gets her ear chewed off regularly. She helped us greatly and I'm thankful for her. We are still waiting for our couch. I don't appreciate how Ashley home only uses their online services for online transactions and in-store transactions have to be taken care of in person. there is no way to check them online. Please reconsider purchasing your furniture from this establishment it is just a lot of hard work on the customers after paying so much for "good" quality items. The pandemic has caused a lot of issues as far as getting materials but this is just ridiculous I hope they improve their communication in the future. We came here planning to buy a sectional sofa, we looked online and just wanted to sit on them before making a purchase. We were greeted immediately upon entry, which was nice...until we realized he was following us. He asked us 4 or 5 times if we had questions, "we are just browsing, we will come and get you if we have questions" didn't matter he just kept creeping. Without exaggeration, he followed and lurked us for 30+ minutes until we were so uncomfortable that we just left. I used to work in loss prevention and we weren't allowed to follow people to that degree even if we had observed them shoplifting first hand. Seriously the most uncomfortable experience. These people put my elderly mother through the ringer! She went into the store to by an armchair and came home with glowing reviews. Everything seemed great until the scheduled delivery date came and the chair did not. After extensive automated telephone interactions, she discovered that her paid order had been cancelled. Then the poor dear had to spend hours in the store trying to rectify the situation. Do not be fooled by the smiling salespeople with false promises! They will say anything to make the sale then abandon you when you need follow-up service. I've tried for months to get a zipper replaced on a cushion from a $4500 sectional I bought from this store. I even purchased the extra warranty, and both ashley and the warranty dompany said that the zipper was not covered. It had been less than a year since I purchased the sectional. For 5 MONTHS, I went back and forth with sales people, the sales manager, and the store manager. They still had the sectional I purchased for sale. I don't understand why they couldn't have just exchanged my one cushion with one on the floor. These guys only worry about a sale and display no customer service at all. Contacted consumer affairs and finally got my furniture. These guys had to "replace" everything to get me my missing pieces instead of just giving me the missing pieces, but it finally happened. They have non-existent Support. You have to reach the actual store for certain reasons - and no one answers. When it did connect me after over 1 hour waiting on the line - the store personnel simply hung up on me. Support is important - any kind of issue and you need to be able to reach someone. My mom ordered an entertainment center from them and paid $199.00 for delivery which says it included "assembly and set up" on the paper work and receipt yet when they arrived they told her to move her TV by herself and the company said they do not set up or assemble when she called. She's a senior so she can't do that by herself. If you're going to charge people for something and list it on the paperwork and receipts you need to deliver on your promises. If you don't assemble you offer a third party who does and walk the customer through how to do it. Every other company is doing that! Macy's, Ikea, and other furniture stores. She likes the entertainment center but if she can't have it put together she could have gone somewhere else. The customer service is also horrible so I had to contact the CEO of the company. It's not right to mislead customers especially, seniors. And you cannot use the pandemic as an excuse for not updating your information if it's incorrect because so many other companies have done so properly. Update: Turns out the sales person made a mistake and charged her for assembly when it already comes assembled. The person on the phone was wrong, they do assemble and she was charged, but the item is pre assembled. Something they should of known and explained. She was issued a refund for that. My in-laws purchased a Queen Mattress and Boxspring set from Ashley HomeStore in Dublin just before the Memorial day weekend. The floor salesperson, Kin C. had verbally promised to include the disposal of the old mattress. However when the delivery folks came to deliver the bed over the weekend, they said that the old mattress pickup was not included with the purchase or it was not included in the delivery order. Everywhere we call for hauling and disposal charges $200 minimum to dispose of an old mattress, so this is an important point to nail down before purchasing a mattress from anywhere. We are in the process of hearing back from management. We hope that the issue will be resolved soon, and as such will update the Yelp review accordingly. read more

When you are buying, they are your best buddy but when you have a problem they tell you to F**k off. 1-My couches got scratched while these lousy delivery people delivering my $2800 couches, and broke the bed frame of my $3500 mattress. 2- called customer service 800 number for replacement nothing yet it's been 3 months now. 3- went to the store to get help from the manager, he's as good as a brick wall. 4- the made 3 delivery date to come out. Ashley Furniture store will make things right! Overall, I am happy with the experience I recently had with the store. Starting with the purchasing experience, Lina helped complete the sales transaction when the initial sales rep that I talked to was not able to help me. The dining set came on time, so no issue with the delivery. I had to contact the Customer Service center to request a technician to fix a minor issue and they were able to fix it promptly. The dining set is beautiful and I am very happy that I purchased it from Ashley store. read more

My wife and I purchased a bed through Ashley in Dublin. We left the store feeling taken care of, seeing not only an employee looked over our order, but the manager did as well. We got excited as anyone expecting a new bed would. Especially when they tell us they will take our current bed. Felt great Until we received it, then it's been a nightmare since Problems - The delivery guys were rude and told us to get an elevator next time. - then they refused to take our mattress. Apparently not only did the employee forget to include the mattress removal in our order, but so did the manager when she went over it item by item. - the customer service here is horrible! We have spoken to them multiple times since and the manager keeps telling us they will deal with it, but here I sit looking at a mattress that won't get picked up because "they only do removal on the same day they drop off". They have told us multiple times that they will fix it, but I have decided that I will leave a negative review I regard to each day that they fail to hold up their end of the deal. While the items they sell look beautiful. They unfortunately Are of very poor quality! This chair broke in about eight months and a year later I still don't have a replacement. They make a technician come out (2-3 weeks wait time) they declare it damaged and unrepairable yet when I call to follow up (after further waiting) as to where my new chair is they say they ordered parts to fix this chair instead. Long story short I am afraid as it now is a safety concern that someone can fall and get injured so I attempt to escalate to a manager which they will not allow me to speak to or contact personally. Now I wait two business days and hopes a manager gets back to me. WHAT?? That's unhear of! I cannot speak to a manager? Something pretty sketchy going on. Meanwhile the table has chips and visible marks within about two months of purchase. Most definitely not durable high-quality products! I paid for high-quality products that would last... UPDATED 11/21/2020: Purchase date was 9/27/2020 and promised delivery was "end of October, first week of November". I changed rating from 4 stars to 1 and re-did this review. Their promises to deliver fell flat. We STILL do not have our furniture... we've got NOTHING! Delivery dates have been pushed out MONTHS longer than promised (now set for 12/14 and that might change too!). Customer service staff at their main line are worthless and can't do anything to change the situation (unless I wanted to extend delivery date even further out). I emailed the store manager and my email has gone unanswered. I left her a voice message. Nothing. The worst part is I SHOULD HAVE held them to their mis-quote and taken the floor model for the price quoted by sales associate (he screwed up, under-quoted by $600!). Instead I tried to be a decent human, work with manager and look what it got me! NOTHING. Three months out (or more!) when it was promised in 5 weeks! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER (and DON'T EVEN use COVID as an excuse... the phones still work!!!). I am now debating filing in small claims court (after "if/when" I get my furniture) to recover the loss differential from original deal. As I see it they owe me $600 back (what I left on the table when I didn't hold the manager to what her employee committed to). I took the new deal based on representation of delivery date and they've broken their contract/commitment that predicated me acquiescing and taking the deal. BEWARE... go elsewhere! We got a couch delivered. We paid for the full set up and haul away of the garbage. The delivery guys were very professional and fast. It's worth paying the extra for delivery. Now for the second part...the couch doesn't work correctly. Not my idea of being happy with a new purchase. It does look like the frame might be damaged. We are waiting to here back from Ashley on how they plan to fix the problem. read more
