Really happy with our experience at Appliance Leaders! We were shopping around the Peninsula for a Bosch dishwasher and they had better inventory and prices than anywhere else we looked. Delivery came within a few days and the team was super professional and on time. Solid option if you need something quickly and don't want to deal with the big box store runaround. Would definitely come back! read more

Appliance leader is the best appliance selection, ordering and installation experience I've had. They have a wide range of high end products, competitive pricing, and professional installation. The ordering was fully online, and the installation crew (Miguel and crew) completed our dishwasher quickly and professionally. If you need any appliance in the SF Bay Area, you should choose this company. read more

BEFORE YOU SPEND $$$$$ HERE, READ ALL THE REVIEWS. I made the expensive mistake of scanning and seeing the majority of good reviews, then falling for the "lure" of getting high-end appliances for a deal. We were remodeling our kitchen and bought a speed oven, oven, hood, range top, and dishwasher from Appliance Leaders. What we were TOLD we were getting was NOT what we discovered we got. My husband and I were physically shown most of the items in the warehouse and told "this" is what we would get. Excitedly, we paid in full and arranged for delivery. It was all downhill from there. When we got home, we looked up the model numbers of the items on our Invoice and discovered that what we saw was NOT what we were getting. To add to it, the appliances weren't even going to match! When we raised this issue, it became a surprise cost to purchase a new face/accessory for the appliance to get it to match. Add to that, delivery, order, and communication issues, and it was just not worth it. Great concept of a business...just poor execution/management. Buyer beware. read more

If you're looking for an appliance and are in a rush and no big box store will deliver, look no further than Appliance Leaders. This place has all the top brand appliances and will do same day delivery! My stove caught on fire Saturday morning. I needed a replacement asap. I went everywhere - Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Airport Appliance, but no one will do same day delivery. Not even next day delivery! I finally found Appliance Leaders in Hayward. Shaun was extremely helpful. Not only did he arrange same day delivery. He even helped me install the new stove. I highly recommend this appliance store. read more

I purchased a warming drawer from Shawn. We have a specific style of the kitchen that we need to match. Shawn was very patient with us. Showed us multiple models from luxury brands. Finally found one that worked. They carry brands such as kitchen aid, wolf, thermador, Miele etc. The one I purchased is dacor. It had dents but at area that are not visible after installation. With it being 'last year model' there was no warranty. But so far so good! We paid 1/2 of what we would have paid if it is brand new :). Check them out. Maybe you would find what you are looking for also. read more

We recently worked with Anthony to replace our old Miele dishwasher. He gave us honest feedback on the various choices and we ultimately went with his recommendation. The delivery was timely and well coordinated. A special shoutout to Miguel, our delivery contact, who patiently waited for us as we made space in our hallway for the dishwasher to be delivered to the kitchen. Overall, the store provided a good selection at competitive prices with a great team handling the entire experience. read more

I needed a new dishwasher and after reviewing pros and cons on multiple websites I decided on Bosch 300 series. I called Appliance Leaders as it was filled with 5 star reviews. Shawn was so patient and unhurried. I told him of my research and what model I wanted. He pointed out that the tub was not stainless steel. I obviously missed that feature and decided on a Bosch 500 series. I highly recommend this business and would definitely call them in the future as needed. read more

I was very dissatisfied with this store in the past and did not visit them for many years. I was looking to get quotes on Cafe brand appliances. I met Andy Lu there and I was very impressed with him and ended up purchasing from him. He was and is the only reason I would buy something from there. read more

During the fall of 2020, we needed appliances for our kitchen remodel at our home in Marin. We found Appliance Leaders by doing an online search for the appliances we wanted (Dacor and Miele) as we prefer to support local businesses. Shawn and his team were very open, warm, and gracious; a welcomed experience especially during covid. Shawn was very honest and informative when responding to questions we had. He was fully engaged, and clearly understood our aesthetics and needs which made him effective when showing us different options. We felt at ease, took our time looking around (we brought our dog too!), and didn't feel pressured to purchase anything. Ultimately, we selected 4 Miele appliances, a Dacor hood and range, a Dacor freezer column, and a Dacor refrigerator column. We left feeling good about our purchase, and to date have had no issues whatsoever. Three years later, we are now remodeling our kitchen at our apartment in the City and immediately thought of Shawn! When we saw each other again (this time we brought our now 2 dogs!), it was like no time had passed! This time we purchased a Thermador refrigerator, Miele coffee machine, and Miele dishwasher. Appliances are an expensive commitment, and I cannot think of a more better person for guidance and expertise than Shawn. Not only does he provide a level of personal service you will not find anywhere else, we trust Shawn like family and in fact, consider him family! We are happy to, and will continue to support Appliance Leaders! read more

There's something about a place that has exactly what you want and that treats you like they're really taking care of you. This place gave excellent service, provided advice from experience with other clients in the past and why certain brands and appliances work better than what we were originally looking for. Can't say enough and the prices were reasonable considering the market. Would definitely recommend!! read more

I had an amazing experience with Shawn, the owner of Appliance Leaders. He went above and beyond in helping me procure a hood insert within a day that I called. I was unable to get the insert for weeks from anywhere else. I have used both of the larger appliance stores in the area and did not have a great experience. I think going to a small business owner definitely provided me a more personalized experience. Shawn was a joy to work with and provided exceptional customer service. I will definitely be using him again for any appliance needs. read more

To any vendor currently working with or planning to work with this dealer: DO NOT. They consistently fail to pay vendors on time and refuse to take calls from the accounts receivable team. They make constant excuses about poor cash flow and personal issues, claiming these prevent them from fulfilling their business obligations. In such a professional industry, it is astonishing to encounter an independent store displaying such unprofessional behavior. Please be cautious. They withhold payments from vendors and portray themselves as victims. Good job, Shawn, as the owner of the company. You have successfully broken your vendors' trust. read more

Regret using them. Never will use nor recommend. I should have read the reviews before going here We bought refrigerator, oven/ microwave combo, electric cooktop, hood and dishwasher. We were told everything will go smoothly. The day of installation the only thing that was correct was the dishwasher. The oven/mw was not working. Fridge had dents. We knew about a small dent but there were additional dents. They sent a technician to troubleshoot the oven/mw. Took a couple of weeks to fix only to discover we received a used one. We were promised by the owner that he will order us a new one but never kept his promise. Instead after months of following up, we finally got our refund for difference in cost of getting another hood and some money back for oven/mv. On top of that, one guy showed so much attitude like it was our fault! Never again!! Best of luck to you if you plan to buy from here! See pictures of proof read more

Beware of false advertising and blatant lies about appliances for sale from this place! I paid $10k for what I was told was a brand new Wolf Range a model "either released this year or last year." After receiving the product I called Wolf to register it and when I read Wolf the serial # I was told it was a 10-year old product. Shawn and his sales associates told me repeatedly (including when they were on speaker phone with my family members present) that the item was a new product, not 10 years old. I contacted other appliance dealers to ask the value of the product given it's 10 years old, and after sharing the serial # and model # I was told that it was a discontinued item, so at most it was worth $1,000-$2,000. I attempted to reach a compromise with Shawn, and offered to pay $3,000 ($1,000 over FMV), but Shawn refused and holds all of my money and refuses to refund any of it despite my many requests for informal resolution. Shawn's only resolution, knowing it's Thanksgiving week (I cook for 12) and I cannot get any other 36" range installed before the holiday is, "I'll send someone to come pick it up now and give you a full refund." He knows this isn't reasonable give the product is now used, he doesn't sell used items, and it's a holiday week. Shawn is taking advantage of me and blatantly lied in his written advertising (Craigslist) and verbally to me repeatedly. DO NOT BUY FROM SHAWN AS THE ITEM IS LIKELY NOT WHAT HE ADVERTISES. BUYER BEWARE. read more

"USED, OLD AND BROKEN APPLIANCES" SHOULD BE THE NAME. My husband and I purchased from this warehouse in January of 2021- $22,000 spent. Mind you cash or debit only- we should of seen the red flag but since he was a friend of our contractor and many appliance stores not having inventory- we took the leap. He guaranteed our delivery date/ that date came- he was a no show. 15 phone calls later he showed up with a broken dishwasher- that he blamed on our contractor's workers because he showed up with no team to install. But it was guaranteed at purchase date. Thermador Fridge- missing a filter- still to this date never followed up on. He doesn't answer. Dacor gas range- came missing knobs for the oven, couldn't used that until the replacement knobs came, which I ordered and paid for. I could go on... but i think anyone reading this gets the gist. If I could I would of, to save the headache, money and have reliable name brand appliance's. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more

Update: They moved mountains to deliver our dishwasher once we posted the poor 1 star review. However, it was delivered with profuse apologies and many excuses, all in the same breath. Although we received the dishwasher and it hasn't given us any problems, we still wouldn't buy anything from them again given the extremely poor initial experience. They seem like very nice people, but just don't handle business well. read more

My dishwasher broke right before Christmas. I'm planning to remodel next year so i wanted to get a panel ready Bosch or Miele in order match it to my new kitchen later. It turns out that these dishwashers are hard to get your hands on these days: wait times of 1 year or so! I called Shawn at appliance leaders and it turned out he had one Miele in stock that he was able to sell me! Appliance Leaders has a huge warehouse with lots of inventory on site. I was able to pick it up that day! Everybody was super helpful and this is the best dishwasher in terms of cleaning I have ever had! Thanks Appliance Leaders! Shawn, the person I dealt with, was in a word, SHADY. He promised to deliver Bosch Appliances by a certain date "for sure", then did not deliver. Literally he said the Refrigerator that I pre-bought, "fell off the delivery truck" the day of delivery was supposed to take place. He could not show me any proof of the "mishap". Then he tried to up-sell me a more expensive Viking fridge, when he could not find me the same Bosch Fridge they "dropped". So I had my other appliances delivered at a later date. I prepaid for all my kitchen appliances and he was supposed to refund me my Refrigerator price close to $3K. It took me 5 different phone calls (after he promised refund) and numerous threatening text messages for to finally refund my $$ over 1 month later. I will say that his delivery guys were 5 stars. They delivered the appliances up a very step staircase into a small apartment without any issues, and even help other appliance guys deliver my fridge when they had no dolly. That is the reason why they got an additional star. read more

Provided great service, selection and value. Appliance Leaders were very accommodating and competent.

Amidst this pandemic, our Washer broke down and we shopped Costco, Best Buy and Airport Appliances; and they're were all backlogged at least 3 weeks for delivery. I made one final call to Appliance Leaders and not only did we get the same units for a better deal than all of the other quotes, but we got the units delivered and installed in less than 24 hours. Absolutely amazing price and service; all in a timely manner.... We Highly Recommend Appliance Leaders!!!! After shopping at several appliance stores, we found Appliance Leaders. Shawn, the owner answered our call and opened his store on Sunday. He has a warehouse showroom with a three million dollar inventory in Hayward. My wife and I picked out a Jen Air built in counter depth refrigerator to replace our old Sub Zero. Shawn and his team delivered the new refrigerator to our kitchen in San Francisco. They installed the new refrigerator and took our old Sub Zero away. They spent two hours to make sure the installation went correctly between our old cabinets. The new fridge works like a dream. We could not be happier. The price and selection exceeded our expectations. read more

We needed a large refrigerator when ours had died. It was built in and we had done some construction after the first installation. We had both a factory repairman and a specialist look at the unit. Unfixable. This size is not built much anymore as it is really big and really heavy. I found the rare perfect fit in stock. The only one in all of the Bay Area. They said they could do it the next day. They arrived with 4man crew. We first had to surgically remove the old one. This was really hard. The crew was amazing. They navigated a natural stone sidewalk, fresh sealed hardwood floors, light fixtures, speciality wall paper, 3 doorways, a double turn, and protruding marble countertops. Not a scratch or a ding. Perfect. This was the light unit at 600 lbs. We repeated the procedure with the new one. This one was even bigger and the handles were still on it making it wider. It took amazing skill to get this in the kitchen and stood upright. Then we need to check for fit. Again, perfect. A simple 24 hr wait (Freon has to settled after moving) was needed before completing the install. With some final installation adjustments, I turned it on. Amazing. The unit was clean with no dings or dents. Delivered Friday afternoon and Saturday night we had ice. Sunday we filled it with food. Tonight (Monday) we have a house full of family for the holidays. These guys saved our celebration. No one in the Bay Area could help us so quickly. They did. read more

DO NOT USE APPLIANCE LEADERS. Shawn sent us an OLD, BROKEN, refrigerator (that was actually a floor model with no warranty). We had paid for a DIFFERENT model (and were told that we had a 1 year warranty) and yet were sent an older and (unknown to us) damaged model. Unfortunately we realized this too late and now need to completely replace it. This feels DISHONEST. Yet Shawn accused me of being rude when I called him, asking for some sort of compromise. He did not want to work with us to make it right. I would never recommend him. read more

We were looking for a new set of appliances (Fridge, Dishwasher, Range and OTR Microwave) for our kitchen. We went out on one of the busiest shopping days, July 3rd! We looked at a few places, but didn't find quite what we wanted. When we went to Appliance Leaders, Shawn seemed like he was about to close up, but gave us nearly 2 hours helping us pick out the appliances that were in our price range, and had the features we wanted. When we asked for some stuff that he didn't have in his warehouse, he told us he'd get them, and he did! We had to wait a while for the order (not their fault, everything is slow these days), and finally the day of the delivery, his installation guys were able to install everything except for the fridge, which didn't fit. Shawn worked with us to figure out if we could go to a smaller fridge -- but we realized that the bigger fridge would likely fit with some small changes to the space (i.e. removing a baseboard). The installers came back again with our original fridge and did all of the work to make it fit, so we were able to get exactly what we wanted! Our only complaint is that Shawn is a very busy guy, so sometimes it's hard to get a hold of him. Also there was some confusion about the second delivery date, and we were surprised to get a call that the installers were outside when we weren't expecting them. But in the end we were able to get exactly the appliances we ordered, and at a good price with good service too. read more

Shawn finally did follow up with my issues with my hood vent. Thankfully, he responded to my issues and also connected me to live people who could actually help me resolve the issues. Once this happened, my stress levels decreased and I felt like Appliance Leaders helped me resolve this issue. Overall, my hood vent works great, I received compensation for the damage caused by delivery, and I am satisfied with my purchase. If not for Appliance Leaders, I would have not been introduced to the brand that I ended up purchasing (Fotile). At the end, Shawn was helpful and professional. Possibly, the issues have more to do with the company that he is a distributor for. read more

We had a complicated washer dryer installation- we had to find a good quality European style stacked units that would fit into an extremely tight space. Everything we looked at was too big on paper. Shawn and Peter were extremely kind and allowed us to come and pre-measure the stack at their warehouse- mind you, they had to unbox and stack the units just for this occasion. They also agreed to take the units back if they ended up not fitting on site (luckily they did!) The pricing was excellent for a brand new open box/ex-showroom units. We had to remove a couple of stickers and wipe off some minor dust, but other than that the units were in great cosmetic condition and never used. This company never sells used/refurbished appliances, only open box or ex-showroom. They have some high end brands like Bosch, Miele, Fischer&Paykel, and many others. It is rare and priceless in any industry, especially in appliances, to find people with a genuine and warm heart who are willing to take the time and help even someone with unusual circumstances like ours. The only consideration one may have is that they cannot always arrange a last-minute/next day delivery and can take several hours to respond to messages - they are real people, not an outsourced customer service. I personally prefer that over instant responses, but I can see how for some circumstances it would result in a less favourable review. We have already come back to Shawn and Peter a second time to buy a dishwasher, and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Excellent service and pricing from people with a heart! read more

I bought an expensive appliance from them. They advertised a certain model and installed a different, and cheaper, model. We are so glad to have selected this company for our gas wall oven installation and dishwasher. Sean and his team (Anthony, & Habeeb) at Appliance Leaders are professional and very helpful. After the bigger stores Lowe's and Best Buy couldn't install both our wall oven which arrived badly damaged, as well as our dishwasher, we were beyond alarmed. Due to CoVID -19 we were told we would have to wait another 3 months for any replacement appliance delivery As mfg delays were in order. We reached out to several local appliance stores, hoping someone would have what we needed already in stock. But no one could locate what we needed. So glad we turned to Appliance Leaders. Sean bent-over backwards in order to locate our gas wall oven. In less than 20 days both of our new appliances were delivered by them and installed in a kind, friendly, professional manner from start to happy-ending finish! we are very satisfied and our experience with them. We bought GE washer and dryer from appliance leaders and Shawn gave us a good price. The installers came and installed it on time. But after few days we figured out that hot water and cold water was interchanged. When I called Shawn for this, he came even though COVID-19 lockdown was there with gloves and mask and interchanged the hot and cold water hoses. He figured one of the hoses was leaking, he went to homedepot, bought the hose and fixed it. Giving four stars since the installers did not install properly when they came initially. But really appreciate Shawn and he gets 5 stars since he came out owned up the issue and fixed it. read more
