There, we met Andy. Firstly he thanked us for coming in and asked what we were looking for. There we said a fridge and ideally one that has two vertical doors. He showed us an LG that had a clear window on the right side and both my mother and I really liked the way it looked. From there he answered any/every question we had about the fridge, we compared the amount of space vs our existing fridge. Something to note about my mother is that she's always looking for the best deal, whereas I prefer a one stop shop. Andy made sure we had both, he brought up every single retailer you could imagine in front of us to make sure we're getting the absolute best deal. He also helped make sure it would fit in our existing space, asking all of the right questions that I wouldn't have thought of. Thank you again Andy for taking such great care of us, we will be seeing you again when we're ready to replace our stovetop!

Andy talked us through the pros and cons of each option, did not pressure us in selling one over the other, and gave us room to confer ourselves while remaining available for questions. He found the maximum discounts applicable to us as we were completing the sale which offset the sales tax if we had paid retail. Were very happy with Andy's service and the fridge looks fabulous in its new space.

Stock is always changing, so you never know what you might find! And if not exactly what you're looking for, try again the next week! I can't say enough about how great Jerry is. He listened to all of my wants (and complaints about the dryer my landlord supplied that was leaking gas). He really knows his stuff! He could tell what was wrong with the old one, but it would cost more than even a new dryer to replace the part! He can also do repairs! We went to the store in the afternoon and had the installation the next morning!! He delivered from Hayward to Oakland, up a five-step walk-up porch, did full installation (supplying the tape), and took away the old one!!! All by himself! I had removed the bathroom and laundry room doors to fit the machines through and he even offered to put the doors back for me!! The dryer started making a noise the second time I used it and he came out the next day and fixed it (it was an easy alignment fix). No fuss! Miguel also works with him, but in the window of time I dealt with him (~ a month), Jerry was a one-man show! Working solo! Thanks much, Jerry!

My Maytag Legacy washer is a prized possession of mine - its from the year 2008 and its a priceless family heirloom passed down from my aunt. Now at nearly 20 years old it finally sprung a tiny leak. I love this washer as its the last of its kind. Its top load and it has a traditional two way agitator and it allows for warm water rinses and TRUE hot water washes. For years I ran it beside my Maytag front loader depending on what I wanted to wash. I don't want to get into some top load front load debate - they are both great and I like to have both in my laundry room - throw in a third tiny washing machine - a Sidekick with wash plate action for jeans or delicates and your in business. With help of my kitty Mr Moose I installed this water pump in maybe 10 minutes. I tilted the washer up at a 45 degree angle, snapped out the two clamps and then with pliers - the only tool I needed removed the two spring clamps from the two hoses. That is why old washers are so popular. No computers, no nonsense. Just a mechanical timer that lasts for generations and no extras. Little children rejoice - wonderful inheritance awaits you. I'd love a beautiful blue/teal pair washer gas dryer by Maytag from the 60s - some appliance rebuilders sell these things for thousands - I just might go for it one day. If your all of a sudden interested in old technology washers - look out for speed queen and Maytag commercial - from my research they are the best you can get today in terms of longevity.

I do not recommend this business…read more We purchased a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave after a visit to the Hayward store. We looked at our calendars, we agreed with the salesman on a delivery date. As the delivery date got close we called the store they reassured us that the delivery company would call us by 5 PM that didn't happen, we call the store back the next day they reassure us that the delivery company will contact us by 5 o'clock, again that didn't happen. We call back the next day because Airport Appliance keeps telling us something is going to happen and it doesn't. We speak to our salesman who explains to us an error at the warehouse now make it impossible for us to receive our appliances on the date that we had scheduled three weeks prior. These things happen he says there's nothing we can do. This a huge inconvenience for us to now reschedule another day to miss work for our appliance delivery. We reschedule a new delivery date and move forward. However for another reason, an Airport Appliance error we will not get the refrigerator delivered on the new delivery date. Nothing we can do... totally a different vibe now from salesman. (3 weeks after paying) We now have had to change the delivery date & will not receive the refrigerator. Delivery team arrives and they bring the refrigerator. However they didn't bring the third person (which we paid extra for during purchase) so they will not bring the refrigerator into our home. They request leaving the refrigerator in our garage until they can come back with a third person. The confusion is just beginning.. Then they will not install the stove (hook it up to the gas line) They claim it's because of the location of the gas shut off for the stove which in my home is not directly behind the stove. It's next to the stove inside of the cabinet. No mention of any limitations on installation during purchase of products. The delivery team did offer a person from their company, I could call and pay to hook up the gas and water line as an option. The delivery team didn't have room in the truck to take away the old stove so they left our old stove out in front of our house until they returned to deliver the refrigerator several days later. Yes we paid to have old appliances removed. They did return with the refrigerator and they brought it in. The delivery team did not hook up the water line to the new refrigerator (we purchased installation). They damaged our home during the stove delivery. I spoke to them on the phone. We agreed that they would fix the damage that they created to our home during the refrigerator delivery. When they brought the refrigerator in they did more damage and then they refused to fix the new damage from refrigerator and the old damage from stove. Resolution: In the end we found a handyman to fix the damage. The delivery company reimbursed us for that cost. Airport appliance discounted the refrigerator that arrived with scratches in multiple places, they also refunded the installations & parts charges(stove & refrigerator)because they didn't install them. When we went to the store to make our purchase we got attention when we left after paying we did not receive the same attention. What we would have appreciated is being updated of any change to original agreement. (For example-Delivery date change). Why create installation expectations if they are not realistic. Our kitchen is remodeled, gas valve shut of inside cabinet, water line valve for existing water line is under sink. Having someone follow through when they tell us over the phone that they will call us back. Only the General Sales Manager followed through with call Whatever money saved buy purchasing from this business was not worth all the hassle we went through.
