Let me explain something to you. I've owned my glasses for less than 37 hours and it's somehow been through 12 rounds with Mike Tyson. I walked into an establishment (I won't name names) (((Sunglass Hut))) and asked them to simply tighten the screws at the end of the temple so I can not have my glasses flail like those inflatable used car dealership things. That's all I wanted. Simple? Yes? No. The person who """serviced""" my glasses may have needed glasses. They for some reason, started doing a literal arm bar on them. The lady started doing moves I've never seen before and eventually drop kicked my glasses??? I swear to God I thought I was at a WWE match for those 7 seconds. She thought it was a good idea to do something I didn't ask for. Bless her beautiful soul. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got back to my hotel. One side was looking at the floor, the other was looking at yesterday. How is that possible? It's not. It's physically impossible. But this person made it happen!!! I was panicking now. My brother was getting married the next day so I called everywhere and they just couldn't commit to fixing it, which I understand completely. I just decided to walk into the Warby Parker that was about 10 minutes away. My glasses were not Warby Parker branded so I understood that I could've been turned down, which I totally get. I was then approached by a super dope dude named Dylan. I told him the whole 9 yards and showed him the glasses. I think I overheard him say "Keisha, babygirl, you seeing this shit????". Nah he didn't say that but imagine if he did though. He took me in like I was family. He even gave me a hug (he didn't but I kinda wanted him to, I was sad for my glasses). Anyway, you can tell he was really committed to helping me. Even coming back and forth 3-4 times to check the fitment on me. He really did care and did his due diligence. He didn't need to. He really could've just shot me down and broke my heart, BUT HE DIDN'T !! I was able to wear the glasses to my brothers wedding and eventually find a wife (again, I'm making things up but it's just so fun to lie). The wedding part was legit, the finding a loving companion was the lie by the way. TLDR: Dylan should be the president of the United States of America. If not, at the very least, @WarbyParker should give me a raise or more PTO. Whatever Dylan wants, give it to him then multiply it by 4 but then divide it by 2 just to see his reaction but then multiply it back up by 9 for the hell of it. Dylan, I love you dawg! read more

The service here is great! But I'm removing a few stars because of the quality of the eyeglasses. I came in last year because my frames broke in half, and they exchanged it for me. Now, a year later, it happened again! I wear my glasses daily, but I do not do any activities. I was cleaning them when they broke in half. These are the "Rosie in Jet Black - Wide". If you want temporary glasses, I suggest getting these lol. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this location a few months ago. Having never been to Warby Parker, I was clearly overwhelmed when walking into the store. There are just so many choices and the frames are not separated by gender. Assisted by Adelia, I was able to narrow my choices down to 2 or 3 frames and go from there. I ended up getting 2 pairs in order to receive the special pricing. The entire process was super easy and took less than an hour. My new glasses were shipped directly to my house and I did not need to return to pick them up. Side note: I'm so glad I went inside the actual store to try on the frames instead of sticking with the WP app and purchasing blindly. None of the recommendations from the app and virtual "try on" worked in person. I will definitely be back in the Spring to purchase sunglasses. read more

So I went in on the September 16th and I had the not so pleasure of being helped by Jeanne. I believe that was her name. She was helping me find some frames and I had to cut it short due to her odor. She smells like cat pee and it's not okay. At first I walked away thinking that I was tripping, but when I went back the smell was so strong. It's like her clothes were soaked in it. I will be buying glasses I just have to go to a different one. She was very sweet it was just her smell. Someone please talk to her about her hygiene. As it will drive customers away. I normally don't write reviews on my in-store experiences....but this is the second time I have been to the stores location and I have did a Google review and the have did nothing about their employees Jeannie small...she literally smells like a walking litter box...and instead of fixing the problem they're letting it go.....0/10 I don't recommend...because that's just nasty...feel sorry for the other employees and one thing I know for sure she had to smell like that when she was hired...so why is she working there I have no freaking idea.. read more

I have a Warby Parker location close to where I live, but I have never enjoyed my visit there, and I come out of my way to visit this location at Bishop Ranch. As a company, its great that they don't upcharge for everything like other in network optometrists do. Warby Parker has polycarbonate and anti-glare/anti-scratch coating included, FOR FREE, in their price. Optometrists have quoted me ~$100 extra for each of those coatings which is crazy. You're only paying $95-200 for a frame (unless you get paid add ons) and they have a very large variety. They are usually out of network so you'll pay out of pocket and your reimbursements will be different, check with your insurance before you go. We also went for frame adjustments at my local store and also again to Bishop Ranch as my local store did not do a good job. It really felt that the Bishop Ranch crew cared and double checked several things to make sure my glasses were made correctly and fit properly. Things that my local store did not do. read more

We will see how the glasses turn out, but we had such a wonderful experience in the store today. Nicole in particular was lovely and made my daughter so comfortable in picking out her glasses. The selection is fantastic, so many styles and sizes to try on. The store is clean and bright. They are very upfront about pricing. The selection is more modern than you find at Costco. We will get our glasses in about a week and a half and I was really happy with the experience. I even got a discount from buying two pairs. All the sunglasses can be turned into regular glasses and vice versa. read more

So many cute glasses at decent prices i have VSP which is not covered but they helped me fill out reimbursement paperwork and submitted it for me. I got my check in the mail in about 3 weeks. Although Warby Parker as a store is very aesthetically beautiful, and the glasses are stylish/minimalistic, ultimately it's a retail experience and lacks in clinical expertise typically found in a more traditional optometry business. I had a few issues with my experience. 1) There was a mixup with scheduling. I called to make an appointment and spoke with someone I believe schedules for multiple Warby Parker locations (does not work at the physical site). I scheduled an appointment for 3:15pm, but she ended up scheduling me for 2:15pm. So when I showed up at the store, I was told I missed my appointment and had to wait until 4:30pm when the optometrist was available again. 2) The sales associates are not well-trained on vision benefits coverage or contact lens rebates. I provided my vision insurance information and was told that I had a benefit for both glasses and contact lenses, so after my optometry visit, I ordered both. Days after my appointment, I received a call that my vision coverage was for glasses OR contacts, so I had to reduce my contacts order by half, since I wasn't planning to play for everything out of pocket. In addition, while onsite I asked for information about contacts rebates (for Acuvue). I was told I would be eligible for a rebate, but when I went to the Acuvue site to enter my information, with proof of purchase, I found out that I was ineligible for the rebate because I was not a "new customer" (I had purchased that type of contacts before). 3) There were additional inaccuracies with my transactions. I received a call after my appointment letting me know that I was mistakenly not charged for my contact lens exam, so needed to provide payment information. Again, this has to do with sales associates not understanding vision coverage, as I was told after my appointment that my insurance covered the exam cost. After this experience, I'm going to go back to a more traditional optometry clinic. The "hip aesthetic" isn't worth the headache of these administrative hassles and errors in billing. read more

It was "bait and switch", pure and simple. I had previously gotten glasses and paid cash for them, $400 in total, and was happy with the service. So after cataract surgery I checked to see if they took MediCare/MediCal as this is the one time MediCare covers glasses. I first checked the web site, filled out the form, the site said theywould take my insurance. I made an appointment. When I got there, Surprize! they couldn't find any billable insurance, but I was urged to pay their full price and try to get reimbursement from MediCare. This is an old scam. They charge far more than MediCare would ever pay for the services, so there is no way I could ever recoup even 50% of the cost to me. As a disabled senior on Social Security, I don't have two to three hundred dollars to make Warby Parker richer. I will not reward bait and switch tactics. I will not go back. read more

I found it odd and bad faith business practice to deny a glasses tightening simply because the pair isn't their in house brand. I've purchased warby branded products before and they are not competitively priced or unique. This short exchange locked in that I won't buy another pair again. Please do better. read more

This review is a bit overdue. I'm very pleased with my glasses from Warby Parker! After having issues with other glasses retailers, I came here to get some new glasses. Trish helped me and she was amazing! She's so helpful, friendly, and funny. She was extremely thorough when measuring and even while helping me, she made sure to help other patrons & say hello and goodbye to them. She even recommended some glasses nose pads to me and made sure to show me photos of what they looked like so I would buy the right ones. My glasses came perfect & it was all thanks to Trish. The nose pad on my glasses broke and it was very uncomfortable. I went to warby Parker and the lady in front desk found me as a customer in their database and sent me to the back to get it fixed. This I was my first time in the store as I got my last pair at Walnut Creek location. This person looked at my glasses and said this isn't our frame so we can't fix it. I am not completely sure where I got this particular pair. But after spending couple of thousand $s with them, they can't take care of a minor issue? Their prices are very reasonable and they have many options. I ordered a pair online because I was out of town and was surprised by the lens quality and clarity for just sending my prescription. The staff at the store were friendly when I had a couple questions but I will definitely buy another frame from here in the future. In December I bought a pair of RX glasses and they have not been fitted properly ever since. I've taken it to the Warby in WC 3 times and each time they adjust it and it never seems to work. I had a similar problem with my RX sunglasses I bought as well. I walked into the new location in City Center and I was greeted by these amazing women. I put on both sets of glasses and it was discovered quickly that wrong sized frames they selected for me were the wrong size for my face. They found the right pair and when I put them on it felt like these were made for me. So we placed the order for both sets and I just received them and I could not be more happy. I had accidentally bent my reading glasses (sat on them). I even managed to brake off both of the plastic nose pieces. So I walked into Warby Parker at Bishop Ranch, and the staff totally understood what I did and fixed them right on the spot.
