He's patient, honest, and always happy to share his knowledge - exactly the traits you'd want in a card shop owner. He's upfront and transparent about his prices when he's buying/selling cards, and makes sure people leave knowing how to check fair market values for themselves. His prices are super fair in today's crazy market, and he goes out of his way to hook people up with promos and deals whenever he can. My kids would live at this shop if I'd let them!

I used to collect sports cards growing up and had a Pokémon collection as a kid too, which I sadly sold at a garage sale before I knew any better. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife. Even with the holiday weekend keeping them busy they were super welcoming and took time to walk us through the store, explain how they price things, and answer our questions. First time shoppers also get a cool Pokémon pin which my son loved, and he picked one out for his sister too. Make sure to signup for their newsletter as they have a nice little $5 promotion too! Great selection if you're into Pokémon--from packs to slabs to singles. They also had a solid variety of video games and consoles from vintage to newer stuff. I had fun digging through the sports card boxes too, just wish there were a few more to look through. Best part was my son had such a fun experience. We opened packs together and put his cards into a binder we bought there. Definitely felt like a core memory for both of us. Would definitely recommend if you want to support a local shop. We'll definitely be back.

What stood out even more was how kind and professional he was with a customer who came in right before me and seemed to be having a bad day. Finding an employee who is even somewhat okay with customer service is already like finding a Unicorn. I saw someone with their kid walk in with a return. The customer complained about the online functionality of the game, I halfway was expecting a sarcastic rebuttle from the gamestop employee and Austin's response caught me off gaurd. Not only did he level with this guys complaint, but he managed to upsell the guy on an even more expensive game, this guy and his kid came in awkwardly and came out smiling excited to play this new game with his kid that was triple the price of the game he walked in to return. You can tell it boils down to Austin LISTENS to people, he MEETS them at their level, and finds a way to pass on his passion for gaming to fit the needs of other gamers that may or may not even like the same genre as he does. 10 stars for this guy.
