I've been to the store in San Mateo many times and I finally made it to the big store! Note that the location is a bit odd - it's in an industrial park and signage is very minimal and easy to miss. Google Maps led us to the back of the store so you may need to go around. The store is pretty large and has a lot of keychains, plushies, figurines, Gundam Gunpla, and blind boxes (my kryptonite). I got a Nendoroid blind box (!) of Fate Stay Night. These figures are way more expensive than normal blind boxes but Nendoroids are always very high quality so it's fine! I saw a lot of figures that were really cool and I would consider getting them if I had a good display mechanism at my house haha. This is a hidden gem tucked away in a business and industrial park. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the store carries almost everything you could need for scale modeling, from model kits to a wide variety of tools and accessories. Place is a little hard to find at first because there was a huge truck blocking the store front. It's located in the area where other offices and warehouse companies are located too. Once you see the anime posters out front you'd know ur in the right place. Service is helpful and informative. Many items to see! I believe that I stopped by here ages ago when I was visiting up north and from what I vaguely recall, they have definitely expanded their stock of anime goods! It's in an industry/business plaza so it looks like offices/small warehouses, but you'll spot this place from the weathered KanColle posters decorating the exterior windows. The first room has a glass case under the cashier with some straps and keychains for Genshin and some other series and the rest of the room is all prize figures, so think FuRyu, Banpresto, etc. for popular series and characters where prize figures are abundant for such as Hatsune Miku, Rent a GF, etc, I was able to spot some Fate Grand Order noodle stopper figures that I generally don't see at other shops or at cons so I snagged one (I got Yang Guifei). The prices are pretty comparable here as they are around $20-35. I was able to use a Yelp Check In offer for $5 off a prize figure and although it was supposed to be expired by the owner, the worker was kind enough to honor it. Thanks dude! In the room adjacent, it's mostly plushies and nesoberis, but there also some Pop-Up parade figures lining up the back wall and a case of Nendoroids as well. The room in the back leads into their warehouse and the front portion is open to customers. There's larger, scaled figures here, Gunpla, a plethora of blind boxes for multiple series such as Chainsawman, Haikyuu, etc. but also for cute character series such as Sumikko Gurashi. I also saw some TCG anime merch supplies such as playmats and sleeves. Definitely a wider and much more unique selection than the standard fare that I've seen at some other anime stores in malls and what vendors usually have at cons. If you want to check their stock they do have an online site too! Worth a stop if you're in the area and you're an anime fan/merch collector! read more

Pretty cool small shop if you're an anime/JRPG fan. Upon entering, my sister and I were greeted by one of the staff members (looked like the owner?) and he asked if we were first timers here. We said yes and he informed us that there are three rooms in total to check out. One room (the front) consisted of figurines/keychains, another room consisted of mainly plushies as well as larger figurines, and another room (the largest, warehouse back) consisted of smaller keychains, Gundam model kits, mini surprise boxes, and a couple of miscellaneous things (more plushies, higher-end figurines, etc.). Friendly people here. Place is clean. Even well-ventilated (have to say this because some hobby shops are grossly musky). The location is pretty hidden especially as there isn't an apparent storefront. Trust your GPS.....it'll lead you right into an unassuming office plaza and if you look closely at the front store windows there will be anime posters. read more

This place has almost everything an anime/hobbyist enjoyer would want. The place isn't all too large but it contains a lot of neatly organized products. Normally at other anime stores, the prices can be absolutely overpriced and are sometimes scummy. But here, the prices were of great value and some were even way cheaper than purchasing online. They have plushies, figures, cards, posters, Gundams, and more. I was able to find some limited items even. The two staffs at the time were really polite and even answered some of my questions about the products. I highly recommend this place if you are a fan of anime-content. Fell down the rabbit hole and purchased kits for myself and the kids. They have a good selection and friendly staff. Prices are competitive. Good amount of decals and wish I picked up a few before I left. Google Maps took me closer to location "D" and had to walk over to "E". This hope in the shop was a really pleasant surprise. It's located in an industrial area, so it wasn't the usual huge storefront you usually see. Thankfully we were able to find it because of the Pikachu outside the store. At first I didn't expect to buy anything. The usual anime shops I go to usually don't have what I'm looking for (which is old school anime merchandise). But they happened to have some Inuyasha nendoroids, the thing I'd initially given up searching for. And I got a deal on it. They also have q-posket, noodle stopper type figurines, Gundam models, 1/4-1/8 scale figures, plushies, keychains, and other anime knickknacks. As much as I was tempted to get a 1/6 scale figure, they were close to $300 (which is expected of that caliber of figure). It's a good place to find authentic figures, especially if you're looking to drop that much money on one (hopefully I will someday, just not today). Trying to get into air brushing, stopped by as they had black Mr. Finisher 1500 surfacers in stock (these are sold out everywhere). Picked up Mr. thinner and Gaia paints as well. This is now my favorite anime store! It's such a gem! I came in today from Livermore finally after months wanting to come check it out but I haven't had time since work and traffic until today and it was 100% more than worth it, the amount of selections there is, is incredible from plushies to anime figures to keychains to so much more. Small store but has more selections and items than stores I've been to, other stores just have the regular naruto, bleach and one piece.
