Pretty decent card shop! 88 Cardhouse is located in the plaza next to New Park Mall. There's a bit of parking but the plaza can get pretty busy. The shop itself is pretty standard for a LCS. There are tables for games in the middle and along the side of the store, you got your selection of TCGs. They carry a good selection of stuff from Pokemon to One Piece to other ones I have not seen before. They have both Japanese and English. Unfortunately, most things are sold at or near market price. However, if you are able to get in a pre-order for some of the items, especially Pokemon, you may be able to get closer to MSRP. They also have a selection of singles from raw to graded at the register area. It was mostly Pokemon the last time I was there, but they had a couple of other TCG and some Kpop cards as well. Overall, a great local card shop and one that has a good amount of stock! read more

a minute ago New I wish I could Give this place 10 Stars this CardHouse and Jack who works there gets 5 stars minimum. I recently purchased 4 Pokemon TCG Trainer toolkits for my nephews and nieces for Christmas through TCG Player, and for some reason, when the package arrived to me from 88 Cardhouse, UPS would not release the package. They said that the seller reclaimed the package and I would have to wait for this package to be returned to the seller and wait for my refund or for them to resend it. My first reaction was worry because Pokemon TCG is one hot item this holiday season and all the kids wanted pokemon and legos. With all the resellers and scams going on I thought I got duped since it was my first time ever purchasing anything through TCG Player. I called California (I'm in NYC) and a gentleman named Jack took my call. He was very concerned about this whole UPS mixup and we decided to wait a couple of days to see if the package would be delivered. I was a bit relieved to know that 88 CardHouse is an actual card shop with actual employees and not some fictitious storefront where my money went to thieves. I waited a few days and before I could even think to myself that the days were flying by, and I didn't receive my package, Jack calls me. Jack made the transaction right and eased all my worries. He sent out my order again with signature confirmation and threw in a bunch of Pokemon card packs for the kids!! I feel really bad because the UPS package that was not delivered is sitting with UPS and I pray UPS sends it back to them and makes it right. I could have felt a lot worse if 88 CardHouse decided to not be so nice to my babies, but Jack and 88 CardHouse in CA saved the day. I'm really greatful for the extra special customer service to a guy who works hard and gives my sweat blood and tears so I can see all the kids and my family members happy. It's the little things that we do for others that make us human and not greedy pigs and I promise to make my kids all smile this Christmas because of Jack and his team. I'm also a life long baseball card collector, collecting heavy since 1987 and I possess over 150,000 cards in my personal collection from all eras including specimens from 52' Topps onward. I've always looked for the best card shops and people who are not only in it to run a business but make the fans happy. 88 CardHouse Just gained a life long customer for being so kind, generous, and caring about my kids 4,000 miles away, this Christmas.
