This might be my favorite place to play Magic the Gathering. Upon coming in this establishment, I am not treated like a customer, but more like a guest. I am welcomed and the staff is very helpful. They don't seem to be trying to milk every dollar out of me. In fact, it feels like they're trying to save me money. They keep their snacks and beverages low and affordable that no other store can claim. They are usually fully stocked on singles, packs, and boxes in addition to accessories. The environment where we play looks so cool with the artwork. I like the people that play here too. It's just a game, and we're there to have a good time. I'll reiterate again. First off I want to depict this in the most respectful manner, it smelled bad in the shop. There was no proper ventilation and it smelled like straight b.o and sweat, sort of like a ymca pool. Anyways, I wanted to check this card shop since it was near a drink spot I had just finished going to and It was sort of disappointing. The cards were great, nice selection and the service was good up until another gentleman came in. I was getting help from a lady who was telling me the prices of cards and what not. The gentleman that came in was trying to exchange or sell his card and the lady who was helping me started helping him. I then found all the cards I wanted and went to the register to attempt to pay. Another lady came up to me and asked if the lady beforehand gave me the prices for each card. I said she did for the 2 I had in hand and the third she did not since she started helping the other person. The Second Lady asked the First Lady and the First Lady who originally helped me said she was comping cards from the other person. The second girl then just went back to playing card games? I then just stood there like an idiot waiting for some sort of help since I was technically the first one trying to shop (there were others but they were playing the card games) I atleast expected the First Lady to ring me up quickly or even the Second Lady to ring me up. First girl continued comping the other persons cards and the second girl went back to her game. I decided I shouldn't support this shop due to the awful service and l put the cards back in the binder and left. There are other card shops that I will continue going to over this one for sure. Pretty chill TCG shop! One of the newer ones in the Bay but seems like they have a pretty good following already. Came here for a One Piece TCG event. Parking in the plaza was pretty easy, since the event was after work hours. Inside, the shop has two different sections. The main one when you walk in has all of their products, from Pokemon to MTG to One Piece to Riftbound. They pretty much have all of the hottest TCGs with primarily Pokemon and MTG. They have a good selection of singles available. Prices are pretty much at market, but that is to be expected unfortunately these days. Staff is very knowledeable. They have a set of tables in front where the products are and a back area where the bigger tournaments take place. The back fits a good amount, but it easily gets cramped with chairs basically bumping into each other when its full. It's pretty hard to get to the back area when you're shuffling around. It also gets really stuffy in the back even though they had the AC and 2 fans running. Overall, a good shop for your TCG needs. They have a good amount of product and host a good amount of locals for all your TCGs. read more

I've been a regular customer at this TCG shop for quite some time, and until today I've always had good experiences. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed my opinion. I visited with my daughter, who was excited to pick out a few single cards. Some of the cards were already priced noticeably above market value. For example, one card was listed at $38, while the market average was around $20, with recent sales between $25-$28. I didn't mind paying the asking price because my daughter was happy, and that was more important to me. In total, we were buying three cards worth $82. I simply asked if they could round it down to $80. Negotiating is a very normal part of the TCG hobby, and there is nothing wrong with politely asking. Instead of a simple "Sorry, we can't do that," the employee responded by asking if it was my first time at a TCG shop and proceeded to lecture me that people don't negotiate prices. The tone came across as condescending and unnecessarily disrespectful. At that point, I honestly didn't want to complete the purchase anymore. The only reason I did was because I didn't want to disappoint my daughter. It wasn't about the $2. It was about how a loyal customer was treated. A little courtesy goes a long way. I found this store back in December of last year and has quickly become one of my all time favorite card shops (I try to stop by at least once a week). They have a great selection of sealed products and card singles. prices are super fair and they are always willing to help someone find the best price. I came into the shop looking to buy a few Magic singles, but unfortunately left with an awkward and disappointing experience. The store wasn't busy, and after browsing I submitted an order through the kiosk for just four cards. I went to the front and let them know I'd placed the order. The employee working in the Pokémon section told me it probably wouldn't take long to gather since it was only a few cards, and that he'd know for sure once his coworker, who handled the Magic section, returned. When the other employee came out, his coworker explained my situation. He didn't acknowledge me, make eye contact, or greet me. He simply said, "Takes 24 hours." I was surprised because I didn't see any signage explaining that in-store kiosk orders require a 24-hour processing time. After an awkward silence, I asked just to confirm that it was really 24 hours, and he replied with a blunt "yes." There wasn't any explanation or attempt to help. I stuck around for a few minutes looking at booster packs, but the interaction left me with an uncomfortable feeling, so I decided not to make any additional purchases. As someone who's new to Magic and local card shops, experiences like this can make the hobby feel unwelcoming. New players are excited to learn, spend money, and support local businesses, and a little communication or friendliness goes a long way. I also never received an email confirming that my order was being processed, which added to the uncertainty. I'll update this review if the pickup process goes smoothly or if my experience improves, but my first impression was unfortunately not a positive one. We shall see... read more

Started going here about three months ago, staff is super friendly, prices for product are great, and absolutely love the remodeling and the good vibes of the shop! Went in today for my birthday and got EXTREMELY good pulls from the pitch black booster bundle and etb. Want to honestly support the business more, but my first transaction made it fell rather annoying. I know it's a buisness and pokemon side of things are a bit crazy. But when you know the price is market +20% and the lady says we don't need help selling the product it bothers me.. the other two who helped me more were more buisness savvy and understood that I put a small collection of mtg in to trade for credit to make things work, not too much just a couple hundred worth. Eventually we landed on mutual ground. But the whole time what the lady said just infuriated me and at multiple stages I wanted to just leave with my stuff and make it a loss loss. read more

I go here to sell my cards never had a problem until the past two time I went to sell and the to the two told people from the Pokemon side keepd lowballing me and buying my cards for 50% and when I ask him why the other guy gave me a low price he said "oh he is probably buying it for himself". Stopped by for the first time here today with my son to check some Pokemon cards. Store was easy to find and lots of parking. Staff was welcoming and helped us decide which set to buy. The prices were very reasonable. They also have MTG cards and other kinds. I would definitely come back and my son was happy what he got and pulled some good cards. read more

I came in looking for some Riftbound to finish out an Ahri deck I was building after visiting a card show for the weekend at the Westgate Mall and was greeted warmly by the owner, who handed me two binders of singles as we exchanged some small talk. A vendor friend of mine recommended me to this location and it was pleasantly clean, organized, and also had Pokemon and Magic cards as well from what I saw at first glance. I generally don't write reviews, especially after only one visit, but my first time experiences at LGS's as a woman have ranged from awkward to just painful, and having an objectively good first impression with not just the owner but the second employee who spoke with me was enough for me to want to endorse them as somewhere to frequent. I did buy some singles there but I think I overpaid for one but I agreed to the deal without looking too much into it which is on me also forgot they tax since they're a store vs a card show. I want to come off as respectful but deliver an opinion on the shop as a somewhat casual TCG guy. First, when I came in I was positively greeted by a nice lady and welcomed in, which was very cool! We checked out the Pokemon cards and stuff and they had a cool selection of things. I know it's a hot market and so naturally sealed products are priced at market value, but they had good inventory on that at least. Where I felt weird was looking through some singles to just keep upgrading my casual binder with cute cards, and none of the singles had prices on them, which personally not always a fan of when browsing, kind of turns me off- a couple of the shops I go to have prices marked on the cards which makes me feel like I'm getting a good deal etc etc. there was this one card that had an 8 dollar tag on it, but when we were rung up the cashier was checking maybe EBay and had to correct it to 10 dollars- which is like a meaningless difference but just feels kinda bad. Got another single that initially was 3 bucks, but then she double checked and said it was 4, so that's why it feels weird not having prices on the cards. I get it's a volatile market, but it does turn me off. Maybe it's a silly complaint about 3 awkward bucks, but that's my 2 cents on it. Staff was nice though! read more
