Very well kept store, many titles and what was great was that all of their titles were spelled out in their boxes that had dividers. It made my search easier. The value and cost of the books was great! I will be back. Told that they have a warehouse nearby with much more books and titles, just need to go to the website, choose the title and issue and then come to the store and pick up your selection when ready! I've been to Comics Conspiracy 3 times, and I have NEVER been disappointed. The owner always has a great selection, he's so knowledgeable about his inventory, and is always down to research something, if you're looking for a specific comic. He doesn't overcharge on his inventory, even if he has something limited, and never pressures you about signing up for a "pull box", like some other stores. I'm a huge Poison Ivy fanatic, and the last time I walked in, one of the workers recognized me and immediately pointed me to the back wall where the newest issue was sitting. I'm definitely coming back to this location. I'm very impressed. read more

Used to live in Sunnyvale and I have friends that are like family to me so when Im in the area I love Comics Conspiracy. Ryan and his staff are cool AF. I remember their old location this place is an upgrade kinda smaller shop but I like how they use their space for how big it is it never feels cramped its organized Love it and I will straight up not go to a store if i feel suffocated(nero I digress). I don't think I've never not picked up some rando dollar bin and in this economy great deals on the stuff too always fun and strange! They have pound for pound the best playlist accompanying the shop too not necessarily the genre of music I love, but it's always solid like for real good. Great taste in music. read more

This isn't the closest shop to where I live, but it's my favorite, well worth a few extra miles. The store is clean, bright, and welcoming. It has ample parking and a convenient location right on El Camino, so I can always combine a visit with other shopping or a good lunch. Ryan and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. The stock is well organized, with a great graphic novel selection, and there's usually a lively conversation going on when I drop by on the weekends. And they use the ComicHub system so staying on top of my pullbox orders is a breeze. Bonus! In short, Comics Conspiracy is exactly what I want for my weekly sequential art fix. read more

Today we ventured into Comics Conspiracy and wow were we impressed. My son is 11 year old getting into comics. I have never been into them but want to keep him reading over the summer. He has just started collecting. We made our first list of comics to look for while we are shopping. That has been the hardest part, not knowing quite what to look for. This place was super organized. Comics in order, alphabetically and then numerical. The person working the counter was very helpful. He wasn't standing over us, but was busy doing other tasks but listening to what we were looking for and offering insight and directions to where the comics were. He explained what to look for and the different versions that are available. There was a lot of options. They were easy to find. We will definitely be back. This is definitely our new favorite comic shop. read more

The vibe is best comic book shop in Sunnyvale! Marshall warmly greeted me! Wanted to catch up w/ Keanu's BRZRKR. Didn't see any on the shelf. Without hesitation, Marshall came to the rescue! He found the bound Vol 2 trade paperback! Now, that's service! The selection of titles is comprehensive! Back issues even to the 90s were readily available. Ryan, the proprietor, is a great guy! Any comic book or graphic novel author/artist/creator would be honored to have a book signing there! Love the clean, modern, up-to-date feel of Comics Conspiracy! Will be back to buy more titles! Excellent finds for the comic book treasure hunter. I used to frequent Comics Conspiracy and gave it a solid 4 star review. About 4 years ago, I moved to a different state, and upon visiting the area, I decided to pop in to see how the store is managing post covid. To my surprise, Comics Conspiracy is not only still kicking, but it looks better than ever. The small shop makes excellent use of space, with every wall containing well organized comics, graphic novels, figures, and artwork from local talent. They have both new releases and a nice backlog of old issues. Their graphic novel selection is loaded with popular comics, and if you are willing to do some digging, you can find some real gems in the used graphic novel shelves at unbelievable prices. In this visit alone, I bought 5 graphic novels for $50, and if I had spent any more time there, I might have left with another $50 worth of comics and figures. The employee working their was incredibly friendly and the entire store was well kept and clean. Comics Conspiracy is one comic shop that just gets better woth age. read more

The store is well organized with a comprehensive selection of comics. So far I've found everything I've been interested in. He mentioned they do heroclix events sometimes too so I def want to check that out as well! A cute little comic shop! This was not originally our intended destination; we were burning time waiting for a friend to go to lunch with, but we saw this place and went in because it was the most interesting looking thing around. This is definitely primarily a comic shop, unlike many others that have an assortment of games/toys/etc. It does also carry comic-character figurines. Also a small manga section and a used graphic novel section. I was particularly drawn to their section featuring artists who had created artwork for sale in various sized prints. Almost like finding a gem at a convention! I purchased a really neat Agent Carter 12x18; I always feel better supporting real artists like myself. Comics Conspiracy is a really fantastic business that's also doing important work (donating an important banned book about the Holocaust to kids) and encourage you to support it! Earlier this year in 2022 is when I first heard about and started shopping with them. I am pretty sure I met the store owner Ryan who probably would not have brought this up if I didn't, but I found the store and met Ryan through this February 2022 story on The Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2022/02/01/maus-banned-higgins-comics-conspiracy/). A Tennessee school district board voted unanimously to ban the Pulitzer-prize winning graphic novel Maus about the horrors of the Holocaust because of the board's objection to nudity and profanity in the book. Ryan heard about it, thought people should read "Maus" instead of banning it, and then offered to ship "Maus" free to anyone in that district who requested a copy. I chatted with Ryan in person about this, and was really humbled by how this seemed like a no-brainer to him and purchased some copies for him to continue his donations. Ryan also helped me buy some purchases for myself and gifts for kids some of which were not even in their current inventory. I've also called on at least two other occasions for help. Each time the Ryan or the person on the phone who has helped me are truly the nicest people who will do their best to find something great for you and make you feel comfortable even for folks like me who are like dabblers and not experts by any means. So far I have had a couple interactions with this store and hope to have plenty more, as I plan on shopping with them regularly. read more

The person at the counter was quite negative and scolded me for trying to buy more than two comics (was planning to gift the extras). He all but shouts out he doesn't make story policy and tells me the guy that pays him does, making another customer at the store raise an eye from his tone. There were no signs about purchase limits so I thought it was fair to ask why. I just started getting back into the hobby and spent a few hundred in the last couple weeks at this store. Other than customer unfriendliness at the register the place is well kept and clean. It's nice to browse through the older comics and pick up books that are 30-50 years old. I just hope my next experience at the place is a little bit more positive. Update: the business owner response saying that "nothing like this happened" is false. Instead of accepting the constructive feedback, the business owner makes up a different story two weeks later, when they weren't even present to witness the original incident, and says I asked their employee to break the rules? Perhaps this is why all the negative reviews have the same complaint about the business? read more

Friendly and helpful staff. The store is laid out nicely, and things are easy to find. We were there to find a fun book for my boy. He found something he liked (Dog Man), and I stumbled on something I liked (old Transformer trade paperback!). Though I didn't look too closely, they seemed to have a nice wide selection of action figures too. I'll have to recommend to my figure collecting friends. read more

1. I did not grow up reading comic books - I know very little of the comic world so I would not call myself an expert. 2. I've only ever been to 2 other comic books stores in my life so this is comparing to those stores. 3. I made a purchase here with a Groupon. The front door sure is hard to open, they should fix that or just prop the door open. I like those "old" comic books on the wall behind the register. Those are the collectibles/originals I'm assuming? Very nice touch! Haha. Everything is organized very well in this store, but to a noob like me I still need help. They didn't have any street fighter comics. We ended up just buying some MGT booster packs. I feel like the selection/variety of stuff here is limited and some of the plushies are too pricey. read more

I love this place. Now, don't get me wrong. The selection of stuff in this place is pretty typical of your average comic store, but this place has excellent customer service. The guys who work here are generally nice and will try to help you out. I drive 40 minutes here to get my comic boards as they are the only ones who carry the ones I'm looking for. My boyfriend and I came to the Sunnyvale area to check out the comic shops after we went to the San Jose comic and toys show the weekend before. This place was very very clean and organized. Some comic stores don't label their comics by name so you have to search through a bunch of them to find what you're looking for. NOT HERE! When we went in there were quite a few people shopping around or just lounging around talking about comics like many of us nerds do! :) *I recommend this location.One thing I was looking for were more vintage toys but most comic stores don't have 'em. I visited Comics Conspiracy for the first time on this years Free Comic Book Day with my mom and dog. I enjoyed browsing for a bit in the shop and the owner helped me find the Supergirl comics that I was looking for. I am new to reading comics so it was nice that the owner took the time to help me find what I I was looking for. He also let my dog come briefly in the store which was a kind thing to do. The Free Comic Book Event was nice since I obtained a couple different comic books and bought artwork from a local artist. Overall, I enjoyed going here and will be back. read more

The shop itself is a cool little place, but unfortunately the man behind the desk (not sure if he is the owner or what) was extremely rude and unprofessional...to the point where I felt compelled to write a negative review, which I've never even done before. Usually people who enter a comic book shop are excited to browse the collection and are just looking for a fun, relaxing little escape. Jumping back into comics, I wanted a comic shop to become a regular, Well Comic Conspiracy is the shop that I chose. It's a smaller shop compared to most, but that isn't a bad thing, everything is neat organized alphabetically, and distributer. And if you are one of the variant cover enthusiasts, they sell some of those at cover price. And don't forget to ask about the Hub, everyone loves the hub, in fact if you ask about the hub, you too will love the hub, I love the hub. So go in, check it out. Nice, unassuming little comic book store located in an old school strip mall where apparently not many ither businesses like customers. The few times I've been here it seems like every other shop here is not open. Anyway, they have a great assortment of mew comics, back issues, books, and a used section in case you want something super cheap. They're friendly enough, they don't necessarily greet with a huge smile, but also not over the top "too friendly". I have to admit that I do like a few comic shops and can't say that this one is my favorite, but it's certainly one of my stops when we're making the "nerd loop" of comic stores or looking for.something specific. read more

I spent months trying to find a quality comic shop on the peninsula. I found an okay shop here that had a few of my titles, and an alright shop there that had a couple more, but I ended up with a lot of gaps in my collection. I had all but given up completely when I decided it was worth a trip down to Sunnyvale to check out one more place. From the moment I entered, I knew I had finally found my shop. The owner was there working the counter. I told him my story and within five minutes he was on his computer confirming that he could re-order all the comics I missed that he didn't already have in stock. He set me up with the subscription service so that I wouldn't miss any more, and was super understanding that I was only going to be able to make it down to Sunnyvale once every couple months. Each time I visited, I had great discussions with the owner. He is superbly knowledgeable of comics and associated media, be it movies, television shows, or the podcast he himself runs. He was able to recommend other titles I would like, and I always felt that he was definitely into the medium and really appreciated his customers. I've always been a fan of superheroes and comics, but only recently have I started buying single issues. After visiting once about a year ago, my girlfriend, Alea G., recently discovered their podcast which is also called Comics Conspiracy. Listening to the owner, Ryan, and coworker Brock discuss the latest in comic news reignited my desire to read comics. The store is small but Ryan will order any issues they don't have. There is also a subscription service they offer and they will mail your comics anywhere in the US free of shipping if you so desire.
