You can never be too safe. You're greeted at the door and someone's always there to say hi and or help you for whatever you're looking for. I usually head straight to the back since that's where the comics are. Once done, I head to the left side of the store where there's someone ready to bag and board your comics for you. I just signed up for their membership and not sure what it entails but since I go so often, made sense to get it. They have a beautiful selection of comics for the right price and you won't have to question if it's above MSRP. It's pretty convenient to visit if you're checking out the rest of the plaza.

I looked mostly at the comic and game section but the comic section was very organized. They separated current/new issues from the vintage back issues which were alphabetized. I also glanced at the games and there's many lowkey ones & a section for 2 player games. I came across a choose your own adventure game I've been meaning to buy. This was a downtown area so most of the parking was metered street parking. Free parking after 8pm! I'm glad I found this gem and hope to stop by next time I'm in the area.

The cashier in the green was helping out this one customer for over 12 minutes. There was a guy in front of me who eventually got out of line because he was tired of waiting. I eventually got tired of waiting, either get your stuff together and know what your system is or get off the cashier line. What makes Newsworthy cool is it's different ... there are fun & funky gift items, political stuff, items that'll make you laugh (e.g., "Trailer Trash Turleen," a Barbie doll that took a wrong turn someplace in Kentucky). This store invites you to linger, with free coffee and seating (indoors and on the sidewalk outside). This is a newsstand with some fun, cool twists. The owner, Julie, told me she lives in town ... this is the kind of local business LG needs more of!
