A bit pricey ( 1$ extra for one slice of tomato and 1$ extra for some shredded lettuce ) but they were good! And somebody was selling coffee too. We sat in the car to enjoy our lunch, then went back to the store for more bargains. The bookstore has some outside vendors too. The staff here have always been…read morefriendly, helpful, they have a comic section with books from the last year or so on the right side of the store which includes titles from Marvel, DC, Image, Dynamite, and a few titles from independents. I have not seen many back issues with the exception of wall comics. They have a pretty large area of clearance $1 comics on the left side of the store which seem to be 2-3 years old books. I like that these $1 boxes are on tables and my back appreciates that they are easy to sort through. They also have an inventory of collected editions which includes trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibus, and compendiums. The owner Kerry has tried to help me find some obscure current comic books a couple times which I appreciate. The staff have all been helpful and easy to work with. I believe they do a significant amount of business in trading card/game card these days, but still have a respectable comic offering.

He's patient, honest, and always happy to share his knowledge - exactly the traits you'd want in a card shop owner. He's upfront and transparent about his prices when he's buying/selling cards, and makes sure people leave knowing how to check fair market values for themselves. His prices are super fair in today's crazy market, and he goes out of his way to hook people up with promos and deals whenever he can. My kids would live at this shop if I'd let them!

I used to collect sports cards growing up and had a Pokémon collection as a kid too, which I sadly sold at a garage sale before I knew any better. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife. Even with the holiday weekend keeping them busy they were super welcoming and took time to walk us through the store, explain how they price things, and answer our questions. First time shoppers also get a cool Pokémon pin which my son loved, and he picked one out for his sister too. Make sure to signup for their newsletter as they have a nice little $5 promotion too! Great selection if you're into Pokémon--from packs to slabs to singles. They also had a solid variety of video games and consoles from vintage to newer stuff. I had fun digging through the sports card boxes too, just wish there were a few more to look through. Best part was my son had such a fun experience. We opened packs together and put his cards into a binder we bought there. Definitely felt like a core memory for both of us. Would definitely recommend if you want to support a local shop. But upon getting inside the store, it is very organized and clean, if you need to buy something it is easy to find as the store is small. During my turn, James helped me with the items I intend to let go. He was clear in his explanation and very detailed in answering questions. The offer they gave me is fair and transaction is straightforward. We're excited to go back to buy video games with them. I hope they become a fixed institution in Dublin.

Phoenix Games really has everything you could ask for, and then some. There's a great selection of…read moregames and consoles from every generation. Games are organized alphabetically, with clear sections for each manufacturer, making your hunt for your latest video game obsession as easy as possible. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, with a lot of knowledge on the games they're offering if you have any questions. Prices seem pretty reasonable as well! Retro gaming can get expensive. I wouldn't say Phoenix Games is a bargain, but they're definitely not out to nickel and dime you from my experience. Overall, I'm always stoked to stop by when I'm in the area -- whether just to browse, or because I have a specific title in mind.

Everything is priced very fairly and competitive with mainstream retailers, online platforms, and even other retro game shops. They do it all here: retro and new video games, consoles, trading cards, plushies, accessories, and more. I feel truly lucky to have found this spot. It's officially my new go-to for anything gaming-related, whether I need something ASAP, want to get a game disc resurfaced, or just want to pop in and see what's new. Showed the manager/owner and provided receipts. He said they would fix the DS because it was sold "refurbished." He said it would be ready in a few weeks, after the new year, and took my contact into. Never heard back. Called the store after the first month came and went. No answer. Months go by and my kid keeps asking about it. I keep calling the location but then I read on their instagram that the shop is permanently closed. But they they're still doing business online. So I reach out to their instagram and email the address on their Shopify, where in fact they are now selling a metallic blue DS, just like the one I bought in December! Still no reply. Hope to hear back now that I'm posting about this problem.

I've gotten some NES and Super Famicom cartridges and they've worked fine. They also have a good return policy incase the game doesn't work. They got some tables and chairs and I heard they play MTG here too. Theres also a sitting area in the front with a bunch of consoles, maybe to test? They also have some cool arcade games that play the very nostalgic 8-bit sounds. If the place is closed when you get there when yelp says it's open, just call them. This is usually manned by 1 person and they might be out for lunch.
