Who likes to play? As an advocate for purposeful play I enjoy the FREE Lego events. You can go and build a free themed Lego build. On 6/11, the build was a duck. I usually prefer to pick up a few and as long as I do one build they are happy to give me one for the little ones. I initially had low hopes coming into this store looking for specific loose pieces my child wanted because we were unsuccessful in 3 other stores. So, my child ended up getting something different. At a whim, I decided to ask Cole, the team member that assisted us at checkout, even though it was already a long shot for me. To my surprise, Cole knew what I was asking about and said he recollected there may be some left and checked the drawers but wasn't able to find any. He then asked if I wanted him to check the back room but he had already gone the extra mile just by checking the drawers for me so I declined. However, he insisted that it would only take 10 seconds and I said why not - so as long as I wasn't hindering him from anything. Sure enough, it was less than 10 seconds and he came out with them!! I WAS SO HAPPY but not as happy as my child! So, because of Cole, we left extremely happy and satisfied. It wasn't the fact that they had the item, but I felt Cole went above and beyond to actually TRY to ensure customer satisfaction and didn't give a dismissive attitude or answer. Even if hypothetically, he recalled incorrectly and there wasn't anymore in stock, I still would have been satisfied because of the effort he put into checking multiple places to see if they had it. Genuinely, it was my first time being helped in that manner in any retailer, so it gave me hope that customer service compassion isn't dead or something of the long past. So, I don't know if anyone has had a similar experience like me, but I'm very glad to have had such an impactful experience here by this particular team member and I'll be sure to check here first for all of my children's needs! read more

I went to the Lego store at stoneridge mall for the duck building event. The staff were very kind and professional. There was a line but it was a quick 15 minute wait. The staff in the picture did a great job managing the crowd. I appreciate Lego for having these fun summer activities for kids. This is the Lego store inside Stoneridge mall , Pleasanton. I was here to purchase a few Christmas gift last year . Today I am surprised that the store is pretty empty with few choices of LEGO sets . Last time I got lots of gifts from different themes: Chinese new year , Japanese garden , kitchen , animas , Star Wars and Harry Potter, Super heroes, play house , battle ships , etc . The rest of the mall are having Good Friday vibes and filled up with new merchandise. I am a little disappointed . Did not make a purchase because I did not find anything interesting. read more

This is an awesome Lego store! I miss having a brick and mortar Lego store in my area. They seem to be getting harder and harder to find. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Pirates Black Pearl ship in stock but Mike C helped me to find everything else I wanted in store. Visited the Lego Store today (9/7/25) for the Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck event and wanted to shoutout Matthew. I felt like he singlehandedly managed a crowd of over 300+ people in line, all who were anxiously waiting to get their hands on the set. He was communicative to the crowd and set expectations on where the line might end. For those unfortunate to not get the set, he passed out minifigs, which honestly softens the blow. 10/10 in management and communication. Also, he stayed positive throughout the entire situation. This is how retail experiences should be! The LEGO brand is so strong and they do an excellent job of communicating fun and play time in the retail centers whether it be Legoland, Lego Store Disney or even the Lego Store at Stoneridge Mall. First Impression/Ambiance: You enter the store and your hit with bright colors, great lighting and excellent displays showcasing their featured products or latest offerings. There are bins of loose legos to buy as well as their signature "Pick and Build" wall in the rear. They have fan or feature builds here and there as well. I feel like a kid everytime I go there. Products: The kits they offer are plentiful and span the whole Lego universe. Its stocked well too which is one of my pet peeves, no issues there! If you have beginner/younger builders in your family or even very advanced/custom builders, there's something for everyone. I really like how they have a lot of displays at this location. Seeing the build completed is always a nice touch. Service: The staff at this store is great! Overall, I never had an issue with customer service at any Lego location. Hell, I would love to work here myself! In closing I had a great experience and everytime my family and I enter a Lego store we leave with at least 1 bag. If your in the Bay Area I would stop by next time your in the area and start building! read more

I'm kicking myself for not getting the name of the young lady who helped me. We visit this location anytime we're at the mall and always find it to be clean, welcoming, with great customer service. During our last visit, I was looking for a missing piece to the bamboo tree. We transported ours from one house to another and one of the bottom pieces fell off. I asked a young lady working there if it was possible to buy the missing piece somewhere because our bamboo was lopsided. She gave me the missing piece from the display!!! She was so kind and so understanding. I was really impressed with her customer service. If you're reading this, we really appreciate the piece that made our bamboo Lego whole again. Came here to buy a present for a friends kid and was surprised at all the cool Lego stuff they have now. I ended up with a Mario Lego play set for the bday present but want to come back and get some of the other sets for myself. The ship was very clean and organized and you'll definitely be able to spot it easily if you've never been here. The bright yellow will draw you right in. I'm back of the main checkout counter they have a nice section you can buy whatever color pieces you need and they charge by the weight. read more

A+! All questions answered and I was so excited to finally make it to a proper Lego shop as Target didn't sell the Land Rover Defender Classic I was trying to find. I found this store to have a more unique selection than the San Jose location. Downtown Disney was also a great shop but this is obviously more convenient. Very helpful staff and outgoing. I will not be buying LEGO projects for a while if not ever. I returned the VW Van project to the Lego Stoneridge mall location a few weeks ago. There were really too many pieces missing for me to call customer service. I intended to exchange it but was told the store wouldn't be restocking that product. I was offered a gift card for the price of the product and have my VIP points reimbursed. I happily accepted that offer and turned in the item, fully trusting the transaction. I held onto the card, waiting to purchase the LEGO Globe. I was very angry to discover the card had no money on it. I believe the assistant manager, who handled the transaction at that store, stole from me. I'm very angry and wrote the company. They have proof that I've spent a few thousand dollars on their products and pride themselves on good customer service. I'm disgusted that the assistant manager felt it was ok to steal. I'm never going to that LEGO (Stoneridge Shopping Center)ever again. Caveat emptor - buyer beware. read more

I had an amazing experience where Connor was so helpful and so enthusiastic about the little people I was buying for! I filled out the survey to tell the manager how great he was. The manager, Matthew, emailed me back with such a personalized, kind email, replying to my original email. I replied with the following, to which he again replied positively. This store is amazing every time I visit it. Way to go L-E-G-O! Great LEGO store with knowledgeable, friendly employees and a great pick-a-brick wall that gets restocked pretty regularly. BayLUG members come here regularly but one of them was pretty rude and had some serious EQ problems hogging space around the PAB wall during a restocking day. He just stood there taking up space when it was obvious people wanted a chance to take a look at the new pieces but he was being super selfish and loading up on tons of pieces like he was hoarding toilet paper during covid or something. read more

I've been to this Lego Store only a few times and it's always been a normal experience, staff is usually friendly and helpful. But I came here on Black Friday in the evening and one of the staff, Casey went out of his way to help me out. Even though it was busy and he was probably tired from the Black Friday rush, Casey had a big smile and helped me find a missing piece I needed from one of my Lego sets (they didn't have any from the Pick a Brick). He used his tablet to helped me and apologized multiple times that the system was a little slow that day, he ended up looking up and down the store from the other display sets to help me find the piece that I needed and within 5-10 minutes I was on my way! I came into here maybe 2 weeks ago and got the new lunar new year set. The DGDs love the Friends LEGO sets...they are not quite old enough to build them completely, but they use them like play sets. We have the farm and the surf sets at our house. DGD the younger was coveting Oliva's House...so we stopped in to take a look. I will never buy anything from this store...talk about HIGH PRESSURE!! We were just looking (I said so several times) and the sales clerk kept asking if we were buying. Awkward, because DGD the younger really wanted it. This store is awesome. My husband wishes it had existed when he was a kid. He was a lego freak. Me..not so much. However, we now have a little boy of our own and he is beginning to be the right age for this. When we discovered this store existed at the mall (a nice surprise!), we ended up spending over an hour with him playing with legos. The built lego displays are amazing. Simply amazing. I have been rather disappointed in Lego recently because most legos you find in stores (other than the Duplos) belong to specific sets. It all seemed so specialized. But here, in addition to the usual lego sets to build certain buildings, cars, ships etc, they have a wall of sorted lego pieces. Let your imagination run wild and build anything your hearts desire! So cool.... I love that they have a bunch of legos out that the kids can play with while the parents shop around. And they also have a place where the kids can build their own lego people (3 for $9.99). This place would get 5 stars, but why are legos so expensive these days? read more
