Don't forget to check out Crazy Aaron's puttyworld

"Man alive I want to be a kid again!" I had no idea what to expect when I walked into this store, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's much larger than I thought, and is jam-packed with every kind of toy you could possibly imagine. Toys for boys, toys for girls, and toys for big boys who never quite grew up. There is one long wall display of all kinds of active games like Slime ball and Rocket Games and things like that. Awesome slime ball really brings back the memories. Do you remember the Battling Robots? They have a toy set called Rock'em sock'em robots. I'm pretty sure that's the original game. I think it used to be made by Wham-O. They have a section towards the back just called science. This is where you can teach your kids about biology, physics, forensic science, or even gardening. Next to the science section is the build section. Perhaps this is my favorite section in the whole store. You can build cars, Treasure boxes airplanes, log cabins, whatever you want. Really interesting selection of creative toys. I noticed that today they are running a $30 off discount on some of the more expensive Build toys. Don't forget to look at the Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty. The employees were nice enough to take out a demo for me and show me how it works. It actually glows with sparkles in the dark. It's called Thinking Putty, because your kid will become a genius after you use it. They will even become smarter than you! Just in case your kids need more sugar, they have a nice selection of candy in the candy shop. All kinds of nutritious things like strawberry laces, Harry Potter jelly beans, all kinds of sugary sweets. Your kids will love you for buying them these things. And maybe they will be really calm after they have some of these? After you fill your kids up with sugar, they will be ready for the really fun pillows called squashhmallows. They come in three different sizes all four media to little tiny squashmallows. I suspect that you could probably get her a better price at Walmart or Target, but this is a much more calm place to shop. So it's probably a good option if you don't want to fight any crowds. So all in all a fun store to visit and walk around, and see what kind of new games they have. Or you can buy one of the original Rock'em sock'em robots.

We've loved this local toy shop since they opened. But we're especially appreciating having them nearby during Covid times! They've done a wonderful job making their ship as safe as possible: barrier at the door to stop costumers and have them sanitize/mask check/hear rules before shopping, multiple bins in easy reach for kids to place things they touched, shared sample toys put away, and plexiglass barrier at register. They're also limiting number of people in the store and offer appointments if you don't want to have to wait. The selection here is also a great combination of purely fun items and educational activities/books/puzzles/board games. We've enjoyed a number of their outdoor activities, and most recently, bought 2 African Dwarf frogs here as a first, low maintenance pet.

Love that we have this store in the Bay Area. You. An find all of the fidget toys and other TikTok fad toys here. The cashiers are nice and are very helpful. The store is smaller than I thought it would be. But my daughter love it and they also send coupons monthly.

We were in need of some basic toys for a Piaget Kit. They had what we needed, and wow their inventory is expansive - they have quite a lot of toys! It also seems like they have some sort of birthday boxes, as in the back there are a lot of pre planned "toy registery" bins with names on them. I enjoyed their lava lamps and how there are toys for many ages of kids here. Prices seem reasonable, and a little of an extra premium is worth their assistance and selection available.

San Ramon edition of a nationwide specialty children's toy store. It's located in a small shopping center thingy and thus the parking is practically unlimited, The gym next door can hog up the right up front parking, but no worries there will always be spaces available. This is a small to medium size store and it won't take too long to run through the whole thing. It is logically separated by developmental ability with all age specific items in the same section, so that's handy. There is also a strong focus on educational toys. You will not find one thousand barbie dolls here, but they will have a small selection of american girl dolls, and can order anything they don't have in stock. Pricing ranges from 3-5 dollars for smaller items all the way up to several hundred for large construction sets/remote control aircraft. Good place to shop for more thoughtful/better quality toys.

The return policy of this place sucks. If you open it, no returns. There are many other toy stores that have friendlier policy.

Besides the free comic book, the owner has booked a Smash Bros truck, a smashed burgers truck. We tried it, and the burgers were good!! We sat in the car to enjoy our lunch, then went back to the store for more bargains. The bookstore has some outside vendors too. I have not seen many back issues with the exception of wall comics. They have a pretty large area of clearance $1 comics on the left side of the store which seem to be 2-3 years old books. I like that these $1 boxes are on tables and my back appreciates that they are easy to sort through. They also have an inventory of collected editions which includes trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibus, and compendiums. The owner Kerry has tried to help me find some obscure current comic books a couple times which I appreciate. The staff have all been helpful and easy to work with. I believe they do a significant amount of business in trading card/game card these days, but still have a respectable comic offering.

So, my child ended up getting something different. At a whim, I decided to ask Cole, the team member that assisted us at checkout, even though it was already a long shot for me. To my surprise, Cole knew what I was asking about and said he recollected there may be some left and checked the drawers but wasn't able to find any. He then asked if I wanted him to check the back room but he had already gone the extra mile just by checking the drawers for me so I declined. However, he insisted that it would only take 10 seconds and I said why not - so as long as I wasn't hindering him from anything. Sure enough, it was less than 10 seconds and he came out with them!! I WAS SO HAPPY but not as happy as my child! So, because of Cole, we left extremely happy and satisfied. It wasn't the fact that they had the item, but I felt Cole went above and beyond to actually TRY to ensure customer satisfaction and didn't give a dismissive attitude or answer. Even if hypothetically, he recalled incorrectly and there wasn't anymore in stock, I still would have been satisfied because of the effort he put into checking multiple places to see if they had it. Genuinely, it was my first time being helped in that manner in any retailer, so it gave me hope that customer service compassion isn't dead or something of the long past. So, I don't know if anyone has had a similar experience like me, but I'm very glad to have had such an impactful experience here by this particular team member and I'll be sure to check here first for all of my children's needs!

The pick up area is the left most entrance in case you were wondering where to park. It's also less crowded on this side of the parking lot. Someone was waiting there to do a pick up and I guess he was waiting for a while and luckily someone was putting away some items and we were able to grab them. I guess he was the only one there. But in no time, I got my items. Perhaps it might be nice to have a buzzer or notification for when people are waiting. Maybe there is already one there and the gentleman who was waiting didn't see it. Other than that, it was nice that this particular Target had the items I wanted as other locations were out. Also luckily, I'm here this week for work so it was convenient. Now is it always the best value? Depends on if there's a sale. But some items I've seen online and in other stores are always comparable. So I like to jump on Target Circle rewards when I can which is free to join which is lovely. Least the tax is cheaper here compared to most of the other Targets' within the area. The biggest criticism I have with this Target though is the design of the store as it does feel a bit weird at times. But at least it's never too busy and its easy to get a parking space and leave.
