Went to return something today & besides the wait, my visit was just fine. The store was pretty…read moremuch clean, organized & the staff were doing their jobs. Not a bad location; just maybe understaffed.

I placed an order for a piece of clothing in person at a ZARA store. Today, I received an official…read moreSMS notification from ZARA clearly stating that my item had arrived at the store and was ready for pickup. Based on this message, I went to the store to collect it. At the store, I showed the SMS and pickup code to a staff member. The staff member, whose head was fully covered with cloth leaving only the face visible (I was unable to obtain their name), informed me that there was no information about my order. This was stated without asking for my phone number or email address, and without conducting any further system check. When I asked whether it was necessary to search using my phone number or email, the staff member responded that I was not an employee there and therefore did not understand how their system worked, and insisted that "if there is no information, then there is none." Dismissing a customer's order that was confirmed by an official notification without completing basic verification steps, and responding in a firm and dismissive manner to a reasonable inquiry, is a service experience I find very difficult to accept. This is the first time I have encountered such an experience in my years of shopping around the world.

So I didn't have a good experience in this store. Salesman was very helpful bringing out my sizes…read more A sale is in progress. Demo shoe was marker $33 and I confirmed this price with salesman. When I went to pay I was told $65! Another customer hearing this brought over the demo shoe and confirmed it was marked $33. They would not honor the price marked on the shoe. Shipping online is free so I left the store unhappy and ordered shoes online. This is the first time I've ever seen a store not honoring marked shoe prices in front of 3 customers! I will not be back to this store and suggest you may also just order online if you know your size.

This Vans is located in the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton. I usually do not write…read morereviews for retail stores, but a couple of their employees are not as friendly or helpful at this particular location. I had came here multiple times and the service is usually at least decent, but this last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. My bf and I were shopping for white vans, but we both have not bought Vans in awhile so we decided to play it safe and try on the shoes first. We flagged down a worker to ask to get the shoes in our sizes - we told her both of our sizes in men and women sizes. She came back after awhile, handed us one box in my size and walked away - we approached her and asked for the other size for my bf and she looked at us, gave us a side remark saying we didn't even ask her for the other size, then went to get it.

Great selection, good prices and decent quality. Its typical mall clothes that don't last too long…read more- but given they are trendy I suppose it doesn't matter much. Fast fashion. I just saw a documentary of how it causes enormous pollution and clogged waterways and all of the USA clothing gets sent to Africa where is causes havoc on the environment there. So there I was - in the middle of all this. Temped to contribute to more if any particular item looked good. I headed to the jeans. I continued to fold up a cuff on a random pair of jeans carefully inspecting the stitching. I didn't really like what I was finding. I then placed my hand in the pocket, grabbed and pulled the pocket bag out - the material and quality of that was up to my satisfaction - but I left them there. For Jeans lately its been difficult - there is ever changing styles and fabrics it seems among all brands and its nearly impossible to find the same jeans 6 months or a year later these days. I constantly tear up my jeans. The knees blow out - they get covered in paint - and there is a sweet spot for me in terms of price and quality and weight - and I'm not sure I was seeing that here. I was impressed with the variety. Even saw some shoes for sale. This to me is so surprising when clothing retails put their hand in somebody elses cookie jar. Its impressive that they have the bandwidth for that sort of thing - but at the same time surprising.

There is nothing to dislike about this store. They have extended sizes and a grand selection of…read morestyles. The clothing is reasonably priced and durable. Whether you are going on a date, or going into the office, this H&M will something for you.
