Ramen, boba drinks, hello kitty stuff, mochi, chips....

Five Below opened where Dress Barn once was. Fully stacked store bereft of patrons. Only 1 staffer seen. Five carries a wide array of products all under $5: Office/beauty & cosmetics/party & seasonal goods, Books, balloons, "tech" accessories, games, toys, candies, chips, snacks, ramen. Most items are discounted goods that are near their sell by date or haven't sold well in mainstream outlets. The inventory has improved over my previous visit. Similar goods available at like stores nearby at comparable prices.. 3ish stars: it's a treasure hunt to find bargains and/or reasonable prices.

Came here looking for rubber ducks that I couldn't find and left with so much more. They have great character tshirts for only $5.55, better than many of the styles in the major department stores or mall. Theres Sanrio, looney tunes, Disney, Mario, pack man and so much more. They also have some fun toys you wouldn't find elsewhere. The staff here are very friendly. Wish they would only answer the phone.

Brand spanking new fancy dollar store mashup Daiso Target drugstore All in one! A bit of everything beauty, clothing, accessories, electronic, stationary, excercise equipment, arts & crafts. And of course snacks and candy! Tons of toys and some holiday decor. Majority of items are 5.99 and below. I saw a $10 gaming chair that time i was there. Worth checking it out for sure! Self check out kiosk but there's Associate on standby if you ever need help. Cool! Parking is plenty.

A few stocking stuffers and Jacob the Elf goodies.

I've been to this specific store three times in less than a week. My oldest daughter asked me yesterday if I can take her again after school tomorrow. I noticed that many teenagers shop here. I'm glad there is a more affordable store that teens like besides Sephora. Five Below in Dublin just opened the beginning of this month and I'm sure it'll do well in the tri valley. Personally, I've spent quite a bit here already. Prices definitely vary with most hovering in the $5.55 range up to $10. It definitely is not the cheapest; but, it's average as far as their price point. Some of their items are very poor in quality while others are once again average. Nothing has "stood out" as far as quality. At this time; they only sell iPhone accessories. There are no Samsung or Android accessories. What I noticed is that their chips were all priced at $5. Ummmm...you can definitely get better deals at your grocery store, Target, etc. Just be aware that not everything is worth the price here. Some of their tiny toys (slime, stationary, stickers, random toys) are more than Target, etc. Other than that, they do have cute stuff!

I had high hopes and waited a long time for this annual event just to be disappointed once I…read moreentered. Having a 3 week newborn it was hard not having a stroller since they do not permit it but when I went around 11am there were only a few people shopping. Also they were located in building C which is a great walk from the parking area on Pleasanton Ave since you could not park closer nor where the NorCal Night Market was at. Carrying a newborn, diaper bag and two small kids in tow did a work out on me.(good thing) After paying admission, i walked to the newborn boy section which didnt have much nor the 3-6 month section. I proceeded to the girl section and noticed the clothes were faded and missing bottoms to pjs set. Still asking for $4.00. You might as well try your luck at Savers thrift or Eco-Thrift for better selection/pricing. Theres also a security guard there to check and verify your purchase. Now mind you, I didnt see high end name brand items (bug a boo, hanna andersson etc) that a security would need to be present but perhaps in previous events they had issues. I consider myself a frugal shopper and look for the best deals since babies and kids outgrow and wear clothes but also Im looking for gently used clothing for them.

You can find like new strollers, high chairs, car seats, furniture, etc. Not to mention toys, books, clothing, maternity clothes, etc. The sale is twice a year, usually in March and October. Prices are really reasonable - NOT TO BE MISSED!!

I walked in a little after 8 AM and most of the Christmas decorations were on sale for 50% off. Buying gift bags that I can use next year felt like I'm robbing the store with such great deals. The store was clean and well stopped and well organized. I made everything really easy to find, and although I came in for one thing and filled my basket up until it was overflowing, the cashier didn't seem to mind also when she was filling up balloons in the store, she noticed that I was unpacking my fully loaded basket and she seamlessly walked over to help me out. She was very kind and friendly and helped me stuff as much as I could in the bag that I brought so that I didn't have to go buy another plastic bag and it worked. I am very grateful for her assistance today. I think this is my new favorite Dollar tree location.

I was with my mom (who also has a review on here) and we encountered an old white worker who is blatantly racist. He used weaponized incompetence to get out of any work that involved helping anyone who wasn't white, saying "I don't do that," "whoever helped you first has to do that." The only other worker there was an old Indian lady who we've encountered in past visits just fine. She already had a line which we were last to join before she ran off to help an Asian lady who just bought balloons. This Asian customer had approached him first to ask for the balloons to be filled but he was apparently too busy just standing by the carts, scrolling on his phone. My mom and I debated leaving because while the Indian lady was helping the customer, he made no effort to acknowledge or step in to help us. It wasn't until a couple, the girl being white, also joined the line so the white man finally came to his register and instead of saying he could help us directly, just said "I can help who's next" which the couple of course rushed over. At that point, our patience was basically gone but we still picked up all our stuff and put it on his belt. After helping the couple, he just walked away?? My mom was over all of this and asked him if he was just leaving while we obviously needed help to which he again excuses that he's busy pretending to move stuff on a random shelf. While I have it, not everyone needs retail experience to know checking customers out should be main priority especially with us being put on hold for the longest now. We left with no purchase or interest to return with this racist working there and I doubt anything will be done. Feel sorry for the Indian lady that has to tolerate that deadweight, good luck ma'am !

Also, there are some good deals but still a bit pricey like a brand new banana republic dress with tags still on for $30. They had Seiko watches for $40 b it the face was scratched. Books selection was good but didn't get why a kids/beginner level book was $2.99 (think soft copy Berenstein Bears book). Kids selection is ok, but more than what I'd like to pay for used kids clothing.

Everything is organized in sections and labeled. Again, a lot of variety. The book section is grand and I like how they're also organized by topics. Only thing that was a deterrent with this store was the pricing. Sure, you can look for the 50% color tag on some items to get a discount and possibly find a hidden gem of a deal, BUT Ross and Marshalls are literally across the street and they have all this new stuff for the same or even cheaper price (at least what I saw clothing wise). I personally wouldn't go out of my way to this location. I would think with so many items being donated, you'd find a fair price to keep items circulating and truly being a thrift price. Would I go back? Sure. It's just wasn't my exciting go to thrift spot. Check it out for yourself!
